I love how it finishes with a velvety feel. Compared to the 22 Vanil** product, the color is a bit brighter.
ConsAs I have oily skin, longevity is important to me. Without powder setting, this one tends to wear off completely by evening.
TipThe photos show color comparisons from shades 2 to 5. For me, shade 4 looks the most natural.

I'm not sure how well it holds up in the heat without melting off. But I have a feeling it might melt. I was using Dior's big concealer as a foundation substitute, but it kept melting off in the recent heatwave. I bought this hoping the 'velvet' name would live up to expectations, but I'm not sure it will... • The adherence is decent, and after a little while, it blends naturally with your complexion • Without using a pore primer, it seemed to fill in pores, which worried me that it might leave white residue in pores as it melted. But surprisingly, that initial pore-filling effect disappeared over time. It seems the product may oxidize or emulsify somehow. Even indoors, there's a glow after 3 hours (it stops at a certain point and doesn't get worse or turn greasy) • There's been talk about coverage - it's not necessarily bad. It doesn't cover recent dark blemishes well, especially red marks or hyperpigmentation, even with layering. However, it easily conceals lighter spots with just a thin layer. It's interesting how it covers without feeling heavy like powder-heavy foundations • No blemishes so far, but need to keep monitoring • Skin feels comfortable even after long wear • The particles are fine and the finish is beautiful, but you need to be careful when applying. However, it's not as difficult to work with as the thick, matte foundations from Estée Lauder or the old Laura Mercier ones
Cons• To be honest, the shade isn't very pretty. Many department store brands have nice shades these days... so that's disappointing. However, it does surprisingly match my natural skin tone. It doesn't look great to the naked eye, but photographs well. Especially in low light with flash, it looks cleaner and brighter compared to other products, with an interesting peachy tone • If you have large pores, there's quite a difference between using and not using a pore primer beforehand • After 3-4 hours, there's a dewy glow or oiliness that appears. But it doesn't keep getting worse, it stops at that point. However, I'm worried about how it might behave outdoors in this weather • Doesn't cover dark spots well
TipI think it's shade 22, but when I actually buy a shade 22, it's dark... My skin tone is ambiguous, between 21-22, and this shade matches perfectly - not brightening, not darkening, just right in terms of brightness.

My previous foundation (shade 23) didn't really show I was wearing makeup, but this one gives a nice, subtle glow that I love. - My cheeks are combination dehydrated while my T-zone is oily, but despite the velvet texture, I didn't feel any tightness on my cheeks. Oil production in the T-zone was also delayed. If you powder your forehead right after application, it doesn't get shiny easily! - I didn't really notice any darkening. - It didn't cause any new acne or blemishes to appear.
Cons- The way it breaks down isn't particularly attractive. The forehead and nose areas were the worst - it seemed to separate from the skin's oils rather than blend. - The longevity was slightly disappointing for me, though I don't touch up during the day. After about 12 hours, it had almost completely worn off around my nose and the surrounding areas where my mask had been in contact. + The first photo is right after application, and photos 2-6 are after 14 hours. As mentioned above, instead of using powder, I blotted the excess oil with blotting papers, which seemed to work better. The breakdown looks slightly better, though still not great.
