  Pros

  I've used this all year round across all four seasons. While it might feel a bit thick for someone like me who prefers lighter products, it gives a nice glow once fully applied. I don't typically go for a rich base, just regular skincare with a hydrating sunscreen, followed by this brightening moisturizer or a semi-matte foundation. It's moisturizing enough that you can even add powder on top (though in this dry weather, I noticed a bit of caking when I looked closely after adding powder). Those who like high coverage and a more made-up look will probably enjoy this. It covers imperfections and pores well - I have quite a few and didn't notice them being emphasized. However, it can accentuate blackheads when they're particularly noticeable.

  Cons

  It's really unpleasant when applied over prominent blackheads. Occasionally, there's slight caking and some darkening where oil comes through. It tends to settle into pores around the nose a bit, and if you don't set it with powder, it can crease.

  Tip

  Make sure to set areas prone to creasing, like under the eyes and smile lines, with powder.

  Pros

  I first used the cushion version of this foundation, but I found it applied quite thickly. When wearing a KF94 mask for a few hours and taking it off, the makeup on my cheeks would be completely rubbed off, which was inconvenient. However, this liquid foundation applies so thinly and smoothly that even after wearing a mask for hours, my cheek makeup stays intact, which I absolutely love! With the cushion, even after powdering my forehead and nose, I'd see some breakdown as oil came through. But with this liquid foundation, there's no breakdown at all, which is so satisfying. I heard this foundation runs a bit light, so I bought shade 22 and I'm happy with it! I'd recommend checking the shades carefully before purchasing.

  While I don't have any major complaints yet, I've noticed it does settle a bit into the creases around my nose. I'll need to be more careful when applying makeup in that area.
