After using it for about a week, I found it didn't cause any blemishes on my super sensitive skin, which was a relief. As you know, those of us with sensitive skin are extremely cautious about sunscreens. Since this cushion primarily focuses on UV protection, I was initially concerned. However, it didn't cause any eye irritation and worked well. Surprisingly, just one dab on the puff covers more than I expected, so a little goes a long way - it'll probably last quite a while. Given that the main advantage of a tone-up sun cushion is its powdery finish, I think this would be great for summer use.
ConsAs someone with dry skin, I noticed it seemed to cause deep dryness over time, especially around my smile lines and cheeks. I had hoped the cushion might be different from typical brightening moisturizers, which can be too drying for those with dry skin, but it seems the characteristic tightness and flaking feeling is unavoidable. Even though I'm quite thorough with my skincare routine, it felt like the cushion was absorbing all the moisture. My skin tends to get oily in summer despite being dry, so I think the feel might be completely different when it gets warmer. I'll update my review then.

Please refer mainly to how it covers blood vessels and redness. - Skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin. After applying cushion foundation, my skin gets oily over time, but feels very dry underneath. Cushions tend to cause pilling, so I prefer just wearing sunscreen. This review is based on using this product as a cushion alternative! - Effect: While not as high coverage as foundation or cushion, it provides medium to high coverage. Personally, I felt it had about the coverage of a base product. Applying it lightly once and then concealing major blemishes was sufficient. The color initially seemed a bit ashy but became more natural over time.
Cons- Drawback: It pills even with just a little reapplication... If you're going out, I recommend applying only one thin layer! Also, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I felt deep dryness and tightness as time passed.
Tip- Pro tip: I recommend using just a small amount and spreading it thinly!

Despite being a sun cushion, it covers well. It subtly conceals nose spots and almost completely hides cheek pigmentation. The photo was taken right after applying just the sun cushion, and it covers over 95% so well that you might not need additional concealer for quick outings or grocery runs. In hot summer, this level of coverage from just a sun cushion might allow you to skip concealer and cushion foundation, reducing skin congestion, makeup hassle, and saving time. The puff with holes is also pleasantly soft. Minimal mask transfer!!!! I wore a mask for about 30 minutes after applying this, and was surprised to see almost no transfer~ Less transfer to the mask means less worry and a cleaner feel.
ConsExtremely drying!!!! I have an oily T-zone and moisture-lacking normal skin elsewhere. On the day I used this sun cushion, I cleansed late at night and applied my usual Cosme Decorte Moisture Liposome Serum + Cream, with only this sun cushion on top. As time passed, my skin felt increasingly parched, tight, and looked dull all over, with puffy eyes, making me constantly uncomfortable and self-conscious. The overly matte texture accentuated my nasolabial folds;;; Very orange-toned color!!! I have blemishes and lack of color in my complexion, with a light undertone between shades 17-19. As soon as I dabbed the puff, I thought, 'Huh? It's such an orange-toned beige color??' Wondering if it would suit pale skin, I applied it as thinly as possible in two layers, with extra coverage on blemishes.. Even after some time, it didn't blend with my skin tone, looking somewhat off and unnatural;;; My complexion looked like I'd applied an orange-tinted base;; Wouldn't such a color in a single shade product be less appealing to users? On the evening of the day I used this, two unexpected blemishes appeared on my forehead..ㅠ I usually prefer easy-to-use sun cushion types, and I'm currently using the white Laposhe sun cushion that I tested and bought at Chicor, which is super hydrating and comfortable on the skin.. Dr.G needs to improve its formula and color while maintaining its strengths like coverage and non-transfer. It doesn't seem worth spending my own money on yet, given its current quality.
TipIn spring, fall, and winter, you'd need to apply this over a very rich skincare base. In hot summer, when we typically use lighter skincare steps, I probably wouldn't use such a matte sun cushion;;; If you're exposed to air conditioning or fan breeze, it might emphasize wrinkles due to skin dehydration..ㄷㄷㄷ
