It's not too pink, not too pale, and not too dark - it's just the right shade of radiant, slightly peachy ivory. When applied to the skin, it gives a natural, luminous look. The coverage is surprisingly good, and upon initial application, it makes the skin appear smooth, matte, and flawless. The case is also sleek and adorably round.
ConsWhile it looks great when first applied, giving a clean and beautiful skin finish... unfortunately, it doesn't hold up well over time. On my skin, it didn't look pretty after a while. I was shocked when I came home after going out - it had settled into my pores in little clumps. Despite multiple attempts, it always broke down in an unattractive way. Of course, this might just be how it reacts with my skin type. Either way, I found myself reluctant to use it. It's really disappointing.

The texture was really quite fascinating!
ConsExpecting it to perform the roles of 'coverage' and 'cushion' is a bit of a stretch. (When you apply it in the morning, eat lunch, and then go to brush your teeth, you'll find a dark, gloomy house-elf standing in the mirror.) It's really just at the level of feeling like you've applied sunscreen in a cushion form.
TipI think the original Dr.G Brightening Tone-up Sun actually has better lasting power for evening skin tone than this one.

First, I want to let you know that I've been consistently using Dr.G's 'Brightening Up Sun Plus' from the same line :) Color: True to the line, it has a bright shade that slightly brightens and evens skin tone, similar to the Brightening Up Sunscreen. Application: It applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel at first. Finish: It sets to a semi-matte, powder-like finish on the skin :) Scent: There's a slight medicinal scent, reminiscent of Madecassol ointment(?). I don't pay much attention to scents, so it didn't bother me and was barely noticeable. Convenience: Being a cushion, it's easy to apply without getting your hands messy - just a quick swipe and you're done!
ConsScent: The slight medicinal scent, reminiscent of Madecassol ointment(?), didn't bother me as I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, but some people might not like it. Dryness: While it does have a powder-like finish, it feels more matte than tube sunscreens. If you accidentally apply too much, you might notice the matte effect more. It seems more suitable for summer use. Longevity: It transfers a bit onto masks, and as time passes, my combination dehydrated skin starts to produce oil. This causes the product to break down a bit unattractively around the nose and forehead areas.
TipWhen you first press the puff into the cushion, a lot of product comes out. It's a good idea to adjust the amount on the back of your hand before applying it to your face :)

Despite its high SPF, this product still offers excellent coverage. + Thanks to the puff, a light dab is enough for sufficient coverage - just remember to control the amount! Texture: It has a semi-matte finish with good absorption. There's also a cooling effect that leaves the skin feeling fresh and matte when applied.
ConsColor: The shade seems to have a bit too much yellow and gray undertones, which made the color slightly disappointing for my personal use. Dryness: While this cushion might work better in summer, it feels quite drying for winter use. You'll need to pay extra attention to hydration when using it in colder months.
TipFor winter use, it's best to apply a solid base of skincare products to boost hydration before using this cushion.

The colors are vibrant and somehow perfectly suited for summer vibes. As it's a brightening moisturizer, there's definitely a noticeable brightening effect after application. The cushion has this bouncy texture that seems to enhance coverage. A little goes a long way for great coverage! As someone who's particularly sensitive to fragrances, I really appreciated that it's unscented. After skincare, it has this lovely cooling effect when applied and leaves the skin feeling fresh and matte.
ConsInitially, too much product comes out on the puff... Just a light tap is enough for coverage. While it may vary from person to person, I noticed significant pilling around the nose area as time passed. It transfers onto masks quite easily. The formula feels a bit heavy, making it less suitable for touch-ups.
TipWhen using for the first time, apply sparingly for coverage.

The thin layer doesn't feel suffocating at all. The finish is pleasantly matte, which I personally love. Coverage: I didn't expect much coverage from a brightening moisturizer sun cushion, but I was pleasantly surprised. It conceals redness, minimizes minor blemishes, and evens out the complexion. It's perfect for my daily routine, especially since I'm always wearing a mask these days and don't need heavy coverage for work. Longevity: While it's not exceptionally long-lasting, it performs adequately for everyday use. The orange case with its overall rounded shape gives it an adorable design.
ConsPerhaps due to mask-wearing, it tends to cake up around the cheeks and chin area over time. When this happens, I have to remove it and reapply.

I love that it's fragrance-free. With masks on all day, scented products on my face can be bothersome. 2. The bright color provides excellent brightening effects, which I really like. 3. It has a high SPF rating. 4. The puff seems well-designed; it feels like it applies the product better. The little holes are cute too! 5. It adheres well to the skin when applied. 6. Being a matte sun cushion, it's perfect for summer use.
Cons1. It does transfer to masks a bit, though not severely. Probably unavoidable with the beige color. 2. The bright shade requires careful control of the amount applied. 3. It tends to dry out as time passes. Overall, there aren't any major drawbacks.
TipFor dry skin, make sure to build a solid skincare routine focusing on hydrating moisturizers before use. This sun cushion is more suitable for summer than winter.

The absorbs well and leaves a matte finish without any sticky feeling, which is a plus. I also love that it doesn't have that typical sunscreen scent. The case seems quite sturdy too.
ConsWhile it has a matte finish, it's inevitable that it leaves marks or rubs off when wearing a mask. On the bright side, it doesn't seem to clump when reapplied.

Applying it to the back of my hand, it had quite an orange tint - I thought, 'Is this really orange?' It felt incredibly powdery and matte. On my face, I realized its coverage seemed better than my usual BB cream. While applying, it felt moisturizing, and I worried it might transfer to my mask or look oily. I added some powder on top just in case. But after being out all day, I checked in the mirror and wow - it was still perfectly matte! There was minimal shine, and instead of caking up, it gently faded away, leaving my skin looking clean and fresh. I was really impressed!
ConsIf you have dry skin, you might find this quite drying. It feels moisturizing when you first apply it, but as you pat it in, you can feel it becoming more and more dry.

After using it for about a week, I found it didn't cause any blemishes on my super sensitive skin, which was a relief. As you know, those of us with sensitive skin are extremely cautious about sunscreens. Since this cushion primarily focuses on UV protection, I was initially concerned. However, it didn't cause any eye irritation and worked well. Surprisingly, just one dab on the puff covers more than I expected, so a little goes a long way - it'll probably last quite a while. Given that the main advantage of a tone-up sun cushion is its powdery finish, I think this would be great for summer use.
ConsAs someone with dry skin, I noticed it seemed to cause deep dryness over time, especially around my smile lines and cheeks. I had hoped the cushion might be different from typical brightening moisturizers, which can be too drying for those with dry skin, but it seems the characteristic tightness and flaking feeling is unavoidable. Even though I'm quite thorough with my skincare routine, it felt like the cushion was absorbing all the moisture. My skin tends to get oily in summer despite being dry, so I think the feel might be completely different when it gets warmer. I'll update my review then.
