  Pros

  First off, the color is beautiful. It's not too pink, not too pale, and not too dark - it's just the right shade of radiant, slightly peachy ivory. When applied to the skin, it gives a natural, luminous look. The coverage is surprisingly good, and upon initial application, it makes the skin appear smooth, matte, and flawless. The case is also sleek and adorably round.

  Cons

  While it looks great when first applied, giving a clean and beautiful skin finish... unfortunately, it doesn't hold up well over time. On my skin, it didn't look pretty after a while. I was shocked when I came home after going out - it had settled into my pores in little clumps. Despite multiple attempts, it always broke down in an unattractive way. Of course, this might just be how it reacts with my skin type. Either way, I found myself reluctant to use it. It's really disappointing.

  Pros

  I usually have sensitive skin, so I mainly use brightening moisturizers instead of foundation or cushions. I tried this product because it can double as both sunscreen and a tone-up cream. What I really appreciated about this product is that it provides great coverage, just as its name suggests! I've always found it disappointing when brightening moisturizers don't offer enough coverage, but this one concealed most of my blemishes. It also filled in my pores nicely, giving my skin a smooth appearance. The tone-up effect is natural, giving a soft, cloud-like finish. I'm really satisfied with it and continue to use it regularly.

  Cons

  Everything about it is great, but I felt a bit apprehensive when applying it like a cushion compact. However, I think that's unavoidable given its cushion format. Apart from this, I didn't find any other drawbacks. That's how much I rely on this product!

  Tip

  When I used it, I noticed it felt slightly dry. Applying a moisturizer beforehand helped combat the dryness. I recommend using a deeply hydrating cream before application for best results.

  I bought this because of its high ranking. It really helps refine and clarify my complexion.

  Cons

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin and dry skin, I find it could be a bit more intensive in its hydration.

  Tip

  I tried applying it after sunscreen, but since it already has SPF50, it provides great coverage even when used on its own.

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. First, I want to let you know that I've been consistently using Dr.G's 'Brightening Up Sun Plus' from the same line :) Color: True to the line, it has a bright shade that slightly brightens and evens skin tone, similar to the Brightening Up Sunscreen. Application: It applies smoothly with a moisturizing feel at first. Finish: It sets to a semi-matte, powder-like finish on the skin :) Scent: There's a slight medicinal scent, reminiscent of Madecassol ointment(?). I don't pay much attention to scents, so it didn't bother me and was barely noticeable. Convenience: Being a cushion, it's easy to apply without getting your hands messy - just a quick swipe and you're done!

  Scent: The slight medicinal scent, reminiscent of Madecassol ointment(?), didn't bother me as I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, but some people might not like it. Dryness: While it does have a powder-like finish, it feels more matte than tube sunscreens. If you accidentally apply too much, you might notice the matte effect more. It seems more suitable for summer use. Longevity: It transfers a bit onto masks, and as time passes, my combination dehydrated skin starts to produce oil. This causes the product to break down a bit unattractively around the nose and forehead areas.

  Tip

  When you first press the puff into the cushion, a lot of product comes out. It's a good idea to adjust the amount on the back of your hand before applying it to your face :)

  1. Dryness Even though I have oily skin, I found this product a bit drying. Those with very dry skin might want to keep this in mind before purchasing. If you apply it over a well-hydrated base, it should be fine for summer use. Otherwise, you might find it a bit drying. As someone with oily skin, I found the feel acceptable. 2. Touch-ups Due to its slightly drying nature, some lifting during touch-ups is to be expected. When retouching, you might have to accept some pore-clogging and slight lifting. So, it's not ideal for touch-ups.

  Overall impression: A foundation-free makeup product perfect for busy mornings, offering both sun protection and coverage. I received the product on March 12th and have been using it from the 13th until today, the 24th. My skin type is combination - oily T-zone and dry U-zone. Current sunscreen: UV Shield Essential Tone-Up Sun The application is fantastic. When I first applied it, I felt it finished smoothly with a moisturizing effect. Usually, when using cushions, I spread it first and then pat to finish. With this product, the puff allows for easy spreading or patting as needed. The coverage and skin expression look natural. Right after application, it gives a smooth and naturally glowing skin appearance. I typically use tone-up sunscreens without color issues. My usual cushion shades are Chanel Beige Rose or Rose, YSL 10, and Jung Saem Mool Fair Light. This product's color was natural on me, and the coverage was so good that I didn't need to use any additional cushion or foundation. It's a high SPF sun cushion product that's perfect for daily use with adequate coverage. I think it'll be great for multiple applications in spring and summer without feeling sticky. While I need to apply a generous amount of skincare now due to dryness, I expect it to work well in spring and summer when there's more sweat and oil. It should be especially good for reapplying during summer when sun protection is crucial.

  Cons

  While the initial application is smooth, it tends to dry out over time. The initial porcelain-like smooth finish feels increasingly dry as time passes. Especially in winter, the dryness is noticeable in my U-zone, and pores and wrinkles become more visible. However, as mentioned earlier, it should be suitable for spring and summer use. It transfers easily onto masks. The excellent initial coverage and application come at the cost of transferring onto masks. Refill availability is important. If refills were available, I'd likely continue using it through summer.

  Tip

  For the current weather, I recommend applying a slightly richer base skincare generously. Following the product guide by patting it in at the end, and using the air hole side of the puff for under-eyes and sides of the nose, results in an incredibly smooth skin appearance. I plan to continue using it through summer.
