At first, I felt like my complexion brightened. Seems great for summer use. I like that it's not sticky.
ConsI used it morning and night for a week, but had to stop because blemishes appeared. Looks like it doesn't suit me... what a shame.
TipIf you don't have super sensitive skin, it might be nice to apply it on a cotton pad and use it as a mask.

I loved that it's a gentle, slightly acidic toner with mild ingredients. While some toners failed to address my deep dryness, this product successfully resolved that issue, which I really appreciated.
ConsThe price was a bit disappointing. I generally expect popular toners to be in the $10-20 range, but this one was over $20. As it was my first time using a product with kombu extract, I noticed some blemishes appearing after using it for over a week. While it's hard to pinpoint the exact cause, the fact that I only changed the toner in my existing routine suggests the kombu ingredient might be responsible.

First off, I was so satisfied with my initial use!! It's slightly thinner than water, but it applies lightly and just this alone made my skin feel hydrated. The best part was that the next morning, there was no excess oil on my nose or forehead. The amount is generous, so it would be great for a toner mask too.
ConsEverything was good, but a few days after using it, I noticed a lot of blemishes appearing near my ears and cheeks... I thought it might be PMS, but I was surprised because I usually only get one or two occasionally. It could be due to my condition, and I'm not certain if it's specifically because of this product, but since it's the only thing that changed, I've stopped using it for now. I plan to try it again when my skin condition improves!
TipAfter applying, make sure to let it absorb fully before moving on to the next step. Since it's a bit rich, there might be some pilling if you're not careful.

This product is fragrance-free, has a viscous texture rather than watery, contains skin-friendly ingredients, feels lightweight, and doesn't cause any blemishes.
ConsThere was some itching. I'm not sure if the fermented ingredients don't agree with me, but after applying the toner, my skin felt itchy. That was a bit disappointing.
TipI mainly used it as an exfoliating toner, but I think it would work even better as an absorbing toner.

It's rare to receive cosmetics packaged so thoughtfully, so it felt like unwrapping a gift. The Kainae Toner, infused with Jeju yeast, xylinum, and fermented black tea, is a concentrated ampoule toner that felt gentle on my skin and provided hydration without any irritation. Initially, I was concerned about the color, as similar-looking toners often leave a sticky, oily residue. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its moisturizing yet refreshing feel. As someone who prefers fragrance-free toners, I appreciated that this one was truly unscented.
ConsWhen I first tried using it as a mask by saturating a cotton pad, I experienced a slight tingling sensation on my skin, especially around sensitive areas like the lips. I'm not sure why this happened.
TipI found that using it as a mask felt a bit heavy, so I think this toner works better as an exfoliating toner or when applied by gently patting it into the skin.

It feels solid and sturdy! Definitely doesn't seem cheap. I love that it came wrapped in paper instead of plastic, making it feel more eco-friendly. The texture has a slight viscosity to it. It's not completely watery. It seems like it would be better suited for seasons other than the hot summer. I usually dislike fragranced cosmetics, and while the color suggested it might have a herbal or traditional medicinal scent, I was pleasantly surprised to find it's unscented, which made me appreciate it even more.
ConsAs someone with dry skin who usually swears by oil mists, my skin becomes combination and blemish-prone in summer, so I always opt for lightweight applications. My routine typically involves layering a water-based toner twice, followed by an essence or a light moisturizing cica cream. However, this toner's texture felt a bit heavy for double application. Oddly enough, I noticed small blemishes appearing after using it. Thinking it might be due to diet or other factors, I took a break for a couple of days. When my skin cleared up and I tried again, the blemishes returned... I'm not sure if it's an ingredient incompatibility or if the toner is just too rich for the extreme heat. For now, I've stopped using it. Also, the quantity seems quite small for the price.
TipI'm considering trying it again when the weather gets a bit drier. Those with combination to oily skin might want to be cautious with this in the current weather.

Super hydrating!!! - It's incredibly moisturizing. For those with deep dryness, if you apply this toner generously and finish with a cream, your skin should stay hydrated for hours without needing to reapply anything. 2. Minimal skin irritation - The first time I used it, my face felt itchy all over, but I'm not sure why. After that, it was fine. It doesn't sting, isn't too sticky, or too matte - it just provides hydration without any irritation. 3. Smoother and softer skin texture - When cleansing, I definitely noticed my skin felt softer and smoother. I'm not sure if this is due to good hydration or if it gently exfoliates dead skin cells. 4. Perfect for light skincare routines - In summer, before applying makeup, if you saturate your skin with this toner, you can reduce your skincare steps and create a great base for makeup. You know how layering too many products before makeup can cause pilling? This toner is ideal when you need to minimize your skincare routine.
ConsI tend to break out when I suddenly change cosmetics, so I just added this toner lightly to my existing routine. For the first 3 days, it was fine, but then I got blemishes in two spots. Also, the very first time I used it, my whole face felt itchy (though in subsequent uses, there was no itching and I felt nothing). I'm not sure why it was itchy initially... The itchiness made me worry my skin was going to freak out, but thankfully it didn't. (I did end up with blemishes in two spots, but I consider it lucky that my whole face didn't react badly.) I think this would be great from autumn through winter and spring when it gets cold and dry, rather than in summer. (Though in summer, it could be good for minimizing skincare steps before makeup.)
TipDon't just apply it once or twice - pat it in 3-4 times for absorption, and your skin will become soft, supple, and smooth.
