I purchased this on December 24, 2024. I was originally using another brand's brightening moisturizer, but it wasn't great for my skin texture. So, I decided to switch to the famous Banila Co primer. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it turned out to be amazing! It doesn't dry out my skin, doesn't accentuate dead skin cells, and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I'm really satisfied with this product - it's truly a holy grail... Just look at my skin in the last photo - it speaks for itself! Without the primer (using only skincare, no other brand's primer), my blemishes and acne scars were surrounded by noticeable dead skin cells. My concealer was all patchy and it was a mess. But as soon as I used this, my skin improved dramatically. Highly recommended, especially for those with dry skin!
Cons
The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to control the amount at first, but you'll get the hang of it with practice!
Tip
Many people say to use primer before sunscreen if it's a sunscreen that leaves a white cast, and after sunscreen if it doesn't. But honestly, I think primer should always go on first, regardless of the type of sunscreen. It helps your makeup adhere better that way!

I can definitely feel that my skin is well-hydrated and becoming more moisturized. While it doesn't quite manage to get rid of the flaky skin, when applied to dry areas, it helps my makeup apply well. It's not bad, it's quite good.

Before applying the matte cushion, gently massaging it onto the cheek area will prevent any stickiness!! It's a hydrating primer with a just-right lightweight formula, not too rich. I bought the matte cushion because it was too dry, but this product pairs well with it. If the matte cushion you have at home is too dry, this is a usable product.
Cons
There's a slight whitening effect..? But I didn't feel it was a drawback. It's not a chalky appearance, just a mild tone-up effect.

My skin is often dry around my nose and cheeks, so when I apply the product and gently massage it in, it doesn't flake and it covers my pores well. I checked it 12 hours after applying, and it hadn't broken down much.
