I didn't find anything particularly disappointing. There are many varieties available, so it's best to choose one that suits your skin type.

There's not much difference before and after application. The texture isn't quite thick, but it's not runny either. It applies incredibly smoothly without irritation, leaving the skin feeling gentle and hydrated. When I apply cushion foundation or liquid foundation right after this, my skin looks flawless without any patchiness. As someone with combination skin leaning towards dry, I found myself using this more often in fall and winter. For those with oily skin, the Classic version might be a better fit than the Hydrating one. The size is about as big as your palm.

There's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, it's that when stored for a long time, the oil(?) and cream separate inside the container. I once stopped using it for a while to try another product, and when I pumped it again after a long time, I was surprised to see it come out separated.

I apply this before my foundation, and it's definitely moisturizing and lovely. To be honest, I wasn't sure if it was making a difference since I use it daily. But on the few occasions I forgot to apply it and went straight to foundation, I noticed the foundation didn't adhere as well and looked less even. This product really shines in winter! When I use this and then apply foundation with a spatula, I can achieve a smooth, even 'boiled egg' complexion.

Many people say to use primer before sunscreen if it's a sunscreen that leaves a white cast, and after sunscreen if it doesn't. But honestly, I think primer should always go on first, regardless of the type of sunscreen. It helps your makeup adhere better that way!

The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to control the amount at first, but you'll get the hang of it with practice!

I purchased this on December 24, 2024. I was originally using another brand's brightening moisturizer, but it wasn't great for my skin texture. So, I decided to switch to the famous Banila Co primer. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it turned out to be amazing! It doesn't dry out my skin, doesn't accentuate dead skin cells, and doesn't irritate my skin at all. I'm really satisfied with this product - it's truly a holy grail... Just look at my skin in the last photo - it speaks for itself! Without the primer (using only skincare, no other brand's primer), my blemishes and acne scars were surrounded by noticeable dead skin cells. My concealer was all patchy and it was a mess. But as soon as I used this, my skin improved dramatically. Highly recommended, especially for those with dry skin!

This is a product I use regularly. It creates a beautiful complexion. While it's a bit much for summer, I use it during the other seasons.

Despite being far from its expiration date, the formula started separating even before summer began. When pumping after not using it for a while, a clear, water-like substance comes out first. However, if you shake the bottle, it sloshes like a liquid and then seems to mix back to a slightly thicker consistency.

It seems to provide some coverage, but it's also a bit runny, so it's somewhat ambiguous in its effectiveness.

 The dramatic effect I expected was not there. Although I have dry skin, when I apply a base product (cushion), the area under my eyes and the center of my cheeks always become powdery and flaky. Around my nose and on my nose, there are also uneven textures and dryness, which has always been stressful for me. So I was looking for a cosmetic product that could cover these issues, and that's how I ended up buying this primer. However, after applying it to the flaky areas and uneven textures and then applying the base product on top, the dramatic effect of it covering well and the base adhering well was not as significant as I had hoped.
The price is not exactly cheap considering the amount, so the cost-effectiveness is not great. It's not extremely expensive, but it's a bit pricey.

 The scent seems to be a pleasant, mild skincare fragrance. As someone sensitive to scents, I personally found the fragrance to be good, and it was not a strong, irritating scent when applied to the skin, which I liked.

The formula is like a lotion, with good spreadability as a primer. The translucent formula applies without stickiness and feels lightweight, so there is no heavy feeling when layering it under makeup. It also does not cause the base makeup to pill or shift.

When applied, the skin feels moisturized and supple.

The outer packaging is a clean, simple design. The pump-type packaging makes it easy to use the product and maintain cleanliness.

While there are no dramatic effects, using the product is better than not using it. I've been using it for a few months, and I've noticed that my makeup applies a bit better and my skin looks less dull compared to when I don't use it. My skin tone also appears more refined, and my skin feels less dry.

I think it's a great primer to use with a matte cushion foundation! And I recommend it for those with dry skin types. For those who want a smooth pore coverage, I suggest using the Banila Co Prime Primer Classic.

As I used the product, I was a bit disappointed that the primer essence(?) and oil were separate. And the Prime Primer Hydrating is a moisturizing primer, so it doesn't provide a completely smooth pore coverage.
