First off, the main container is generously filled with essence, so it seems like you'll be able to use moistened pads until the very end. The pads are quite large, which I prefer over smaller ones, so that's a plus for me. The scent is a subtle blend of tea tree and a mild menthol fragrance. It's not overpowering, so even someone like me who's sensitive to scents could use it comfortably. There weren't any particular downsides, and true to its name as a blemish pad, it seemed to help calm my blemishes to some extent. As someone with sensitive, blemish-prone skin, I usually stick to products with cica, tea tree, or ingredients that help with acne. Perhaps that's why I felt comfortable using the Victory Blemish Clear Pads. I often use pads for exfoliating dead skin cells, and after going out or when my face feels hot, I'd place the Victory pads on my face like a mask. I'm grateful I got to experience such a good product.
ConsThere weren't really any downsides, but if I had to pick something, it would be the price point. However, even considering that, it seems like a price that's manageable to purchase during sales or promotions without much strain.

First off, I loved how it seemed to refine my skin texture so well. I used it in place of toner, and it didn't dry out my skin. The biggest advantage was that even though it was my first time using toner pads, I really enjoyed the refined feeling it gave, and my skin improved noticeably. I'm thrilled with the results! As for the scent, it smelled like a cleansing foam, which was a bit confusing at first - I even wondered if I needed to rinse it off. But once I got used to it, it was fine.
ConsEverything else was great, but I was disappointed that it felt rougher than I expected. I thought it would be softer, but the wiping part was coarse. When I first used it, I was surprised by the slight irritation, but fortunately, it was fine the second time. I just wish it could be a little gentler.
TipI usually experience dryness during the time between drying my hair and starting my skincare routine. So, I found a great solution: I stick the pads on both cheeks and forehead before drying my hair, and then wipe my face once I'm done. This works really well for me!

Cons✔ I'll need to use it more consistently, but during the usage period, I did still get some blemishes. ✔ The inner seal that appears when you open the lid doesn't close well, and when closing it, toner leaks around the seal, causing the inconvenience of having to wipe it clean. ✔ It's not a major drawback, but when using it as a mask, it doesn't adhere perfectly to the face, so you need to press it down occasionally to keep it in place.
TipIf you place the flat side on areas with blemishes like a mask, you can feel a soothing and cooling effect, which quickly calms down skin that's become red due to acne!

Built-in tweezers 💖 When you open the lid, there's a clever little compartment between the lid and the product (sorry, no photo!) where you can store the included tweezers. It's so neat and convenient! Other brands' tweezers often get dirty easily, but even though this container is a bit larger, I love the built-in tweezers so much that I'll probably keep the container. 2. Incredibly gentle ingredients and scent, with a cute 🍆 (eggplant) concept! The ingredients are so good that I applied through The Hwahae Testers to receive this product. They even included a sheet mask (which I haven't tried yet as it seems like it needs to be used right after opening). I'm touched! So I'll write an even more honest, thorough, and 'objective' review. Thank you so much! 🥰 Carrot, eggplant, broccoli, cucumber, aloe, tomato... Many brands use food ingredients, but eggplant is quite unique! The packaging really brings out the Free Up concept (natural and gentle), with a beautiful and mood-lifting light purple color. 3. Effectiveness for blemishes, oil control, and exfoliation There were three types of Free Up pads, and I had finished using the one for exfoliation, oil control, and pore care (you know, the famous green product that starts with 'S' and has a minty feel). I applied for this one to treat adult acne and whiteheads. I had one whitehead in the middle of my forehead and a couple of pimples along my hairline, so I used this for intensive nighttime care and uploaded comparison photos. The result? The large whitehead got smaller, and the excess sebum on my chin visibly decreased and looked more refined. Overall, my complexion became calmer and more balanced! It's so gentle that I can use it on my neck, elbows, and even... underarms. It's great for removing any leftover deodorant or sunscreen residue! 4. Skin reactions I have extremely dry, atopic skin but still struggle with excess oil and sweat. Even with famous products that have good ingredients, I often get small bumps, hives, itching, or breakouts. But with this product, I had none of those issues! This may vary from person to person, but that was my experience. (As a Hwahae Tester, I've honestly reported when I got hives from other products, and I'm still only using those on areas that didn't react.) 5. Comparison with other brands The small green tub 'S' product I used before was honestly... if you pressed too hard, the exfoliation could be so intense that it could make you bleed. It was effective, but so strong that I could never use it more than 3 times a week. The Free Up Blemish Pad is easy to use daily. It's great for refreshing your skin on summer mornings when you wake up sweaty, giving a cool minty feel that leaves your skin feeling clean and prepped for makeup. 6. Ease of use compared to other pads I tend to reach for pads that are soft and adhere well to the skin. If they're stiff, rough, or don't have enough solution, I'm less likely to use them. But these? I find myself using them so often! The scent is pleasantly subtle with a minty feel that puts me in a good mood.
ConsIt's not really a downside, but... Based on the reviews and the large container size, I expected the pads to be huge when I read that one pad was enough. However, they're about the size of the back of a woman's hand. They're a good, generous size, but not exceptionally large. So, the container could probably be a bit smaller and lighter for easier storage in the fridge or on bathroom shelves. Also, I wish they were a bit softer... I've used and really liked very thin, non-embossed pads from another company. The other three types all had embossing which caused some irritation. Even among popular products, some can be stiff with little solution and cause irritation due to the pad itself. Not all embossed pads are harsh, though. These are actually the least irritating and one of the softest among embossed pads, with good adherence to the skin. But I just can't forget how nice those super thin, pack-like pads from another brand felt.
TipUsing these in the morning leaves me feeling refreshed and organized, setting a positive tone for the day. Rather than intensive care, it feels more like a high-performance exfoliating toner that's perfect for daily use. I'm extremely satisfied! The pads are so gentle that I can use them on my neck, elbows, underarms... They're great for removing any leftover deodorant or sunscreen residue! Storing them in the fridge makes the experience even more enjoyable!

With the current hot weather and mask-wearing, my skin has been suffering from excess heat. So I decided to keep the entire Clear Pad container in the fridge for a refreshing application! Upon opening, I noticed a cool peppermint scent and worried it might irritate my skin. However, despite having combination dehydrated skin and being super sensitive, I didn't experience any blemishes during the week of use. In fact, an existing large pimple actually subsided. Although I have dry skin, during summer, applying emulsion before going out felt uncomfortable due to mask-wearing and sweat. I used to only apply toner, but with the Clear Pad, I can wipe my entire face for morning care without any deep dryness, leaving my skin feeling fresh! While I don't typically have visible dead skin cells, I do have oily skin that requires daily oil cleansing massage. After using the Clear Pad, I noticed a reduction in excess oil production.
ConsIn the interest of honesty, I tried to find some drawbacks, but personally, I didn't have any major issues. The only minor point is that when I used one pad to wipe my entire face, there was enough essence left to apply to my neck before work. However, when I started sweating, my neck felt a bit sticky. For summer use, I recommend applying it only to your face. The face finish is fresh without any stickiness.
TipFor summer use, I highly recommend storing it in the refrigerator for a cooling effect! I've heard that reducing skin heat before applying makeup is crucial, so using it chilled can help lower skin temperature and smooth out dead skin cells - a win-win solution!

The pads have a double lid, which should help retain moisture better than if they were exposed right away. These seem better suited for wiping rather than as a mask. I could feel my skin temperature dropping just from gently wiping! As someone sensitive to fragrances, the scent wasn't bad at all. And despite having super sensitive skin, it didn't cause any irritation~ I'd love to try the other varieties of pads they have!
ConsWhile there wasn't anything particularly disappointing, the pads don't give that feeling of completely adhering to the skin. That's why I think they're better used for wiping rather than as a mask.
