1. Effectiveness

- Significant acne improvement (small bumps, mask-related)
I've been struggling with small acne bumps on my T-zone and face periphery due to frequent makeup use and mask-wearing. Even after dermatologist visits and aesthetic treatments, these persistent bumps kept returning. I tried various skincare products, but nothing seemed to help. It might sound exaggerated, but since using these pads, I've noticed a remarkable improvement in my T-zone and chin acne! While mask-contact areas are still problematic, and existing acne and scars take time to heal, the fact that no new acne has appeared in two weeks of use is a huge win for me.

Wow, they really thought this through - there are tweezers attached to the middle lid! The double lid already makes it very hygienic, but the tweezers' placement is genius. It's much more sanitary and convenient for storage, and you won't risk dropping them when closing the lid.

The pads aren't super saturated, so rather than using them as an overnight mask, I apply them before makeup while blow-drying my hair.

➰Using on reddened skin after treatments
I get a lot of dermatological treatments, and in summer the burning and tingling sensations seem to last longer. The cooling minty sensation of these pads helps bring down skin temperature, so I applied them frequently the day after treatments. (I avoided using them immediately after treatment to prevent potential irritation!) The redness seems to subside faster.

While one pad alone can't be expected to fully soothe post-treatment skin, I use them every morning before makeup and they work wonders! They lower facial temperature and combat deep dryness, making makeup application a breeze! There weren't any particular downsides, and true to its name as a blemish pad, it seemed to help calm my blemishes to some extent. The smooth side is gentle, allowing you to choose the appropriate side based on your skin condition. The large 7cm diameter pads are convenient, requiring just a few swipes for thorough cleansing.

The pads are generously soaked in a water-based essence, ensuring they stay moist until the last one. After cleansing your face, you can even pat the essence in, and there's enough left to treat your neck and elbows too!

▫️Exfoliation
I used the textured side on my T-zone and chin, and the smooth side on my cheeks. My skin feels softer than when I don't use these pads. It's especially effective on the sides of my nose where makeup tends to cling - there's noticeably less buildup now. The refreshing scent is likely due to the BHA.

If this were more affordable, I'd definitely consider repurchasing!

Also, I thought the paper pouch that came with it was a sheet mask, but it turned out to be individually wrapped pads. They'll be perfect for travel - thank you!

I can't think of any particular downsides, but as with any pads, be careful not to rub too hard as it might cause irritation. Gentle application is key.

There's no sticky feeling, and I liked that the pads are sufficiently soaked in the solution. The double-lid design and included tweezers make it hygienic and likely to stay fresh for longer. If you leave it on a blemish for 10 minutes, you'll find it nicely matured by the next morning! When applied, it gives a cool, minty sensation - I personally love this, but I imagine some people might not be fans.

Keep them in the fridge for a refreshing exfoliation after cleansing! I also use the used pads as a face mask by leaving them on my skin.

The container is a bit too roomy for the pads. Also, I personally prefer square pads for leaving on the skin, rather than round ones. These are the only drawbacks, but I'll definitely repurchase!

The best part about these toner pads? After wiping, you can place them on your cheeks for simultaneous exfoliation and hydration. There's no oiliness, and the pads are large and round enough to cover each cheek perfectly when used as a mask.

As mentioned above, try the sample first before opening the main product! The samples are in a flat paper envelope-like package outside the sealed box.

When using the sample, try applying leftover toner on your body too. Sometimes even if it doesn't suit my face, it's fine for my body. In those cases, I swipe it on my arms or back of calves before applying body emulsion. I have keratosis pilaris, those bumpy spots, and using toner pads followed by body emulsion seems to improve the condition.

1. Slight Dryness
At first, I didn't feel it was particularly drying. But after 4-5 days, when I cleansed with foam cleanser and only applied this toner, it felt like moisture evaporated faster compared to other products. It made me feel like I needed to apply moisturizer sooner. However, since I have oily skin and it's summer, with some natural oiliness, I didn't think it was a major issue. But for those with dry skin or using it in winter, you might feel some tightness after application.

2. Volume & Main Product Container
Rather than a downside, the amount feels just right. But maybe because I used the sample first, which typically contains more liquid due to its nature, I had slightly higher expectations when opening the main product. Also, the main product container is a bit heavy.

First off, the main product comes with 3 sets of sample pads. Honestly, I've always used toner in pad form, so I worried about 'What if my skin reacts badly? It'd be a waste to throw away opened products.' Many pad-type products don't include samples like this. But I appreciated being able to test if the product would cause any skin issues using the samples first. Each sample contains 2 sheets with plenty of toner, so I even tried it on my arms.

2. Vegan
There are quite a few vegan cosmetics out these days, but I hadn't tried any yet. This was my first attempt, and I feel a sort of unexplainable satisfaction.

3. Effects and Skin
I know there are a few products from other brands made with eggplant extract, which seems to be quite a gentle ingredient. While it's only been a few days so I can't say it's perfect for calming skin, I haven't experienced any breakouts or blemishes. Even on hot days, using the pads gives a slightly cool sensation.
