Effectiveness - Significant acne improvement (small bumps, mask-related) I've been struggling with small acne bumps on my T-zone and face periphery due to frequent makeup use and mask-wearing. Even after dermatologist visits and aesthetic treatments, these persistent bumps kept returning. I tried various skincare products, but nothing seemed to help. It might sound exaggerated, but since using these pads, I've noticed a remarkable improvement in my T-zone and chin acne! While mask-contact areas are still problematic, and existing acne and scars take time to heal, the fact that no new acne has appeared in two weeks of use is a huge win for me. Additionally, I discovered that the main ingredient, eggplant extract, is excellent for problematic, blemish-prone skin. It offers four key benefits: 1. Blemish care (skin soothing) 2. Skin condition management 3. Sebum control 4. Management of dead skin cells in hair follicles (improving resistance to external factors). No wonder my acne improved! - Effective exfoliation My skin is quite thin and prone to redness with harsh scrubs or exfoliants. However, using just exfoliating toners led to clogged pores and small bumps on my nose and mask area. After using this product morning and evening for two weeks, with just one wash-off mask, I noticed less dead skin, reduced redness, and improved makeup application. - Skin soothing Lately, wearing a mask for extended periods has led to excess sebum production and skin irritation (redness in T-zone, nose, and chin after removing makeup). However, after cleansing, when I apply this product like a mask to troubled areas with a mist, it cools and completely calms my skin! - Sebum control (arm and chest acne) As a home fitness enthusiast, I've noticed how post-workout skincare can make or break your complexion. Excessive sebum production can lead to more skin troubles than before exercising. I started getting acne on my arms and chest after beginning my workout routine. Using the same pads I use on my face to wipe these areas, along with other blemish products, significantly reduced the number of new small bumps. The large pad size is particularly convenient for body use. 2. Differentiating factors from other pads - Pad size As you can see in the attached photo, these pads are even larger than Dr.G Blemish Clear Cream! They feel about 1.2 times larger than other pads I've used. The larger size means more serum absorption, greater facial coverage, quicker application time, and less irritation compared to similar products from other brands. - Ample serum When you receive it, you'll see it's almost overflowing with serum... At first, I thought it was like using a cotton pad soaked in toner! - Price 70 pads for an original price of 29,500 won, with a discounted price of 26,500 won on the official website - it's a great deal. Even if it were the same price and quantity as other brands, considering the packaging, samples, pad size, and serum quantity, it's much more cost-effective. - VEGAN They use vegan-certified pads! With increasing environmental concerns and focus on vegan cosmetics, this seems like a very thoughtful product. - Completely airtight The pad container has a double lid, with a translucent plastic inner lid. When you press the center part firmly, it releases the air inside the container, creating a perfect seal. This prevents accidents like serum leakage or drying out over time. - Tweezers Wow, they really thought this through - there are tweezers attached to the middle lid! The double lid already makes it very hygienic, but the tweezers' placement is genius. It's much more sanitary and convenient for storage, and you won't risk dropping them when closing the lid. 3. Packaging - Eco-friendly Following the vegan theme, all packaging and box cushioning materials are biodegradable (it felt like I ordered from LUSH). In these times, such environmentally conscious aspects really make me want to continue supporting the brand. I feel like I've only praised it... but I'll repurchase even if I wasn't part of The Hwahae Testers. As a pad enthusiast who's tried over 20 different types, I think I've found my holy grail. <How I Use It> - Not daily, but when I feel skin troubles coming on 1. Spritz with mist 2. Take out two pads and apply the soft side to the T-zone (it's so large it covers the face periphery too) 3. Pat remaining serum on forehead, nose, and chin 4. Wait about 10 minutes, then wipe with the textured side 5. Don't discard the used pads - wipe your neck, arms, and chest where you might get acne. Especially in summer when my face heats up and becomes more sensitive. ➰Using while drying hair The pads aren't super saturated, so rather than using them as an overnight mask, I apply them before makeup while blow-drying my hair. Makeup applies so much better than with my usual skincare routine! These pads provide just the right amount of hydration without being overly moisturizing, so makeup doesn't pill - it's perfect!! ➰Using on reddened skin after treatments I get a lot of dermatological treatments, and in summer the burning and tingling sensations seem to last longer. The cooling minty sensation of these pads helps bring down skin temperature, so I applied them frequently the day after treatments. (I avoided using them immediately after treatment to prevent potential irritation!) The redness seems to subside faster. While one pad alone can't be expected to fully soothe post-treatment skin, I use them every morning before makeup and they work wonders! They lower facial temperature and combat deep dryness, making makeup application a breeze! I've tried many hydrating pads, but this is the first with a cooling effect, which I find really appealing and use diligently. ➰Too little essence in the pads When I first received the pads, there was so little essence that I worried it might evaporate and leave the pads dry before I could use them all. ➰The pads aren't particularly soft (but not irritating either❌) As someone with sensitive skin, the softness of pads is crucial for me. Unfortunately, these aren't exceptionally soft. Honestly, regardless of the amount of essence, if they were just a bit softer, they'd be my holy grail product. First off, the main container is generously filled with essence, so it seems like you'll be able to use moistened pads until the very end. The pads are quite large, which I prefer over smaller ones, so that's a plus for me. The scent is a subtle blend of tea tree and a mild menthol fragrance. It's not overpowering, so even someone like me who's sensitive to scents could use it comfortably. There weren't any particular downsides, and true to its name as a blemish pad, it seemed to help calm my blemishes to some extent. As someone with sensitive, blemish-prone skin, I usually stick to products with cica, tea tree, or ingredients that help with acne. Perhaps that's why I felt comfortable using the Victory Blemish Clear Pads. I often use pads for exfoliating dead skin cells, and after going out or when my face feels hot, I'd place the Victory pads on my face like a mask. The large 7cm diameter pads are convenient, requiring just a few swipes for thorough cleansing. ▫️Essence Quantity The pads are generously soaked in a water-based essence, ensuring they stay moist until the last one. After cleansing your face, you can even pat the essence in, and there's enough left to treat your neck and elbows too! ▫️Exfoliation I used the textured side on my T-zone and chin, and the smooth side on my cheeks. My skin feels softer than when I don't use these pads. It's especially effective on the sides of my nose where makeup tends to cling - there's noticeably less buildup now. The refreshing scent is likely due to the BHA. ▫️Hydration and Moisturization The lightweight, water-based formula preps the skin for better absorption of subsequent skincare products. It provides ample hydration, and if you pat in the essence, it even moisturizes. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I only need to apply an emulsion on my cheeks after using these pads. Container and tweezers: Hygiene is a major concern when using toner pads. Free:up's toner pads come with tweezers right under the lid, allowing you to pick up pads without touching them. I love these dedicated tweezers that can be attached to the container to prevent loss. 3. User experience: Refreshingly cool and pleasant! Clearing toners for blemishes, dead skin cells, pores, and sebum control usually have a cool, tingling sensation. I particularly dislike this feeling, and my sensitive-skinned sister fears toner pads as even slight tingling causes breakouts.
