If you're a fan of sandalwood scent, I'd definitely recommend this. In my experience, the fragrance lingers quite nicely. I'm not entirely sure about its effectiveness. I noticed it tends to clump if you use too much, so I ended up using just a pea-sized amount each time. The product's scent is a standout feature, but its performance and application require some finesse. It's best suited for those who appreciate a long-lasting sandalwood fragrance and don't mind being careful with the amount they use to avoid pilling. - ls*****Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 9, 2025
✓ A subtle, pleasant woody scent that's not overwhelming! Perfect for use in any season ✓ The fragrance lasts long, keeping your hair smelling great throughout the day! ✓ When applied after drying, it adds a healthy shine to your hair ends, making it look more nourished and tamed! ✓ Great for daily use as it creates a natural glow without making hair greasy No particular downsides! (Truly satisfied) If you're not a fan of woody scents, choose another fragrance that appeals to you! Apply sparingly to your palms and focus on the hair ends to avoid oiliness on the scalp! For a more natural, glossy look, lightly apply any remaining oil to the mid-lengths of your hair Use as the final step after drying for a much neater, more polished hairstyle! - vo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 13, 2025
Attention all woody fragrance enthusiasts! This hair oil is an absolute must-have. I strongly recommend it! For shoulder-length hair, just three pumps are enough. The deep, sophisticated woody scent is simply divine. There's nothing to dislike about this product. It's a definite essential. The packaging is beautiful, and the fragrance is outstanding. After towel-drying your hair thoroughly, apply this generously before blow-drying for best results. - ij****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedNov 8, 2024
The scent lasts for a long time. If you're a fan of sandalwood, you'll likely appreciate this aspect. Unfortunately, the sandalwood fragrance wasn't to my taste, which was disappointing. - al****************Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 8, 2024
As someone who primarily uses sandalwood fragrances and loves woody, musky scents, I must say the aroma of this hair oil is absolutely delightful. While its performance as a hair oil is decent, it instantly smooths out my hair, though the coating effect doesn't seem to last too long. Still, I'm considering repurchasing because I love how the sandalwood scent wafts around me with every movement. It's a bit disappointing that they don't offer discounts very often, which makes each purchase a little bittersweet. - al******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 8, 2024
This review is based on the 10ml complimentary sample I received with my purchase of the treatment. (The attached photo is of the sample - the full-size product is much larger!) The texture is an oil with just the right consistency - not too thick, not too watery. If I had to choose, it leans slightly towards the richer side. When applied to hair, it adds a uniform shine without excessive oiliness. I appreciated how evenly it spread without clumping. The hydration level is decent, though not extraordinary. If you find heavy, sticky hair oils overwhelming, you'll likely be satisfied with this texture. The scent is reminiscent of a temple, with a unisex woody aroma, similar to Diptyque's Tam Dao. It starts off intense but gradually becomes lighter, making it suitable for women too. The fragrance definitely holds its own against high-end perfumes costing hundreds of dollars. If it suits your taste, I'd recommend giving it a try! My hair is slightly wavy and tends to get quite frizzy after blow-drying. This product didn't seem to have much effect in taming or smoothing my hair. Since my hair is natural without any coloring or perms, I can't speak to its effectiveness on damaged hair. However, given its lightweight feel, I wouldn't set high expectations for intensive repair. Many people might buy this for the fragrance, but be aware that the scent doesn't last as long as advertised. - su*******Normal SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2024
I tried a sample before and loved the fragrance so much. I've been eyeing it for a while and finally bought it with a Toss discount. It's such an incredible deal - I'm thrilled! Thank you so much! It seems a bit pricier compared to other hair oils. Also, I remember there used to be a Basil and Vetiver scent too. Are you gradually discontinuing the hair oils? - al*************Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 21, 2024
I've tried Moroccan oil and pretty much every other hair oil out there, but nothing compares to this. The scent is absolutely divine. When you apply it generously to damp hair, it initially looks like wet seaweed without feeling greasy. After a little while, it absorbs completely, leaving your hair naturally glossy and smooth. None. It's an excellent product for taming frizzy hair, making it shiny and manageable. Apply generously to damp hair - ku*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 12, 2024
I'm not usually a huge fan of woody musk scents, but this one has a subtle lingering fragrance that's perfect for daily use. The initial scent is reminiscent of niche men's fragrances - imagine a cool, woody aroma from a misty forest. It's great for summer. The texture is right in the middle between light and heavy, with no stickiness. When applied after drying your hair, it helps tame those flyaways, leaving your locks looking sleek and well-groomed. The fragrance is quite strong at first, but it fades rather quickly, which is a bit disappointing in terms of longevity. - me*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2024
As a hair oil itself, it feels relatively light and ordinary. However, I want to repurchase it mainly because of the scent. The miniature (10ml) that came with the shampoo and treatment is perfect for carrying around and using on the go. Personally, I wish it were a bit more affordable. Applying it to the ends of my hair makes me feel great.
