This is a versatile boosting essence you can use without worry. Even for super sensitive skin, it makes your skin feel soft without causing any blemishes. The scent isn't overpowering, and it's not sticky, so it's a hassle-free addition to your skincare routine. It's not just a watery toner either. Given its affordable price, I like to dispense a generous amount and apply it with my hands. If you have sensitive skin, try using it without a cotton pad. I think I understand the target audience for this product. If galactomyces works well for you, give this a try!
Cons
Affordable price, non-sticky, and really great - there's nothing not to like! The only downside is that since it's available online, you can't test it directly before purchasing. That's a bit disappointing. It's more of a 'order based on intuition and hope it works out' situation.
Tip
They seem to have small sales every month. Given the affordable prices, it might be worth trying out some of their other functional products alongside this one.

Pros
First off, I love the sleek design - it's visually appealing right from the start. The formula is a water-based texture without any stickiness, and it absorbs really quickly. It's fragrance-free, which I personally prefer. I didn't experience any blemishes, and it seems to have a slight calming effect! Just keep in mind that individual results may vary.
Cons
While I don't have super sensitive skin and found it fine, a friend tried it with me and said it felt a bit tingly. My friend has extremely sensitive skin though, so those with very delicate skin might want to carefully check the ingredients. I didn't have any issues myself. Oh, and it would be great if it came in a larger size!
Tip
After trying both methods, I think using it as an absorbing toner works better than as an exfoliating toner! Since the consistency is quite thin, you'll need to be careful with how much you use.

Pros
1. Hydration It's so moisturizing! The hydration doesn't just sit on top of the skin and evaporate, but actually absorbs well! Highly recommended for combination dehydrated skin. 2. Ingredients I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any blemishes during two weeks of use. 3. Volume This is how much I used over two weeks, applying morning and evening! (See photo) The generous amount allows for worry-free use. It has a slightly slippery texture, similar to a toner! Because of the large quantity, I used it almost like a toner. The ingredients are great and it's gentle, so I really used it every day. It's great for adding hydration before makeup without causing pilling. I think this and a moisturizer alone would be sufficient in the peak of summer.
Cons
There are no downsides! When I finish this, I plan to purchase it again with my own money!
Tip
Put it in the fridge and use it as a mask with cotton pads! Fantastic

As a mom, skincare is one of the toughest challenges. Without my husband around, it's hard to even wash and apply skincare in the morning. Neglecting my routine led to combination dehydrated skin. But with this Doctohu product, the hydration lasts so long I can immediately tend to my baby. Even with my blemish-prone skin, I had no issues. I'm sensitive to fragrances in skincare, but this product is fragrance-free and suitable for all skin types - a truly versatile option!
Cons
While there weren't any major drawbacks, the essence is quite watery, almost like a toner, so it feels like I'm using it up quickly. As this is a new product and brand for me, there's not much information available. They might need to work on appealing more to consumers.

1. Texture It's not a thick consistency, but rather a watery texture. It feels closer to a toner than an essence! 2. Light hydration In summer, I have combination dehydrated skin, and this product is perfect for the hot months as it's lightweight without excess oil! Highly recommended for those with combination dehydrated skin~ 3. Gentle ingredients I've been struggling with blemishes lately, but this product has such gentle ingredients that I could apply it without worry! By the way, I didn't get a single blemish while using it! Also, it's fragrance-free, so I could apply it without any hesitation. 4. Absorption over exfoliation While using it as an exfoliating toner isn't bad, I felt that absorption provided a more hydrating effect! One layer wasn't enough, so I recommend at least two layers for best results.
Cons
No downsides so far! I'll update my review if I find any issues after finishing the product. Oh, the small size is a bit disappointing! I wish they offered a larger volume option.
Tip
As mentioned earlier, I recommend focusing on absorption rather than using it as an exfoliating toner! Applying two or three layers really helps boost hydration~

My skin type is combination dehydrated and I used this as a toner both morning and evening! I applied it as the first step after cleansing, and depending on the day, I added extra hydration with a mask or another emulsion. With its lightweight texture, it's a great product even for those with oily skin. It absorbs well without leaving that typical sticky feeling of essences, and there's no oiliness, so I had absolutely no blemishes even with my oily skin. The scent isn't overpowering either, making it comfortable to use. The bottle has a very narrow opening, allowing for hygienic use. It dispenses drop by drop, which made it convenient to control the amount.
Cons
There weren't really any downsides. If it came in a larger size, it would be great for generous, long-term use!
Tip
With its lightweight texture and lack of oiliness, it's a product that even those with oily skin can comfortably use after cleansing, both morning and evening. For people who tend to get hot easily, it might be nice to keep it in the fridge and use it with cotton pads on the cheeks and forehead before applying makeup to reduce heat. The Hwahae Testers, let me break it down for you: Absorption: It's a super watery toner, but once applied, it develops this unique bouncy texture. Perfect for dry skin in summer - just one layer before your emulsion does the trick. Oily skin types might find it a tad heavy though. Brightening and anti-aging claims: Can't speak much to the wrinkle-fighting, but my complexion seems clearer rather than brighter? Maybe it's because I'm not getting any blemishes, but my skin tone looks more refined. I've been using it lightly in the morning - essence, then a thin layer of emulsion, let it absorb well, then pat on some cushion foundation. My makeup stays put without any pilling! I'm actually excited to try this more in winter. The fragrance-free formula with great ingredients makes it ideal for dry, sensitive skin types. (My Baumann Skin Type is DSNT) • Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any redness or blemishes even after using it for several days. • Some fermented skincare products feel like they're creating a film and make my skin itchy, but the Biome Activate Essence doesn't clog my pores at all. • It has a light texture that feels refreshing, yet it's deeply hydrating, making it suitable for all skin types. • Due to its consistency, it's versatile - you can use it as an exfoliating toner, clay mask, toner pack, or essence. • As it's a brightening product, I noticed it significantly lightened some mild pigmentation.
Cons
There's nothing else I find disappointing, except it's a bit tricky to dispense the toner when doing a toner pack.
Tip
Personally, I found it most effective when used as a toner pack and patted into the skin 2-3 times for better absorption.
