I've been using this for 20 days, and the texture is like pure water - it's so light! Even with my dry, blemish-prone skin, I experienced no irritation. It's impressive how well it removes even stubborn mascara. The downside is that if you use it alone, you might feel a slight oiliness. If I use only this cleansing water for both steps of my cleanse, I tend to get small bumps on my skin. It works best when used as the first step in a double cleanse, followed by a cleansing foam. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 2, 2023
Great value for money and works well as a first-step cleanser. It effectively removes eyeshadow and eyeliner (like Clio or Lilybyred brands). It's too harsh for my super sensitive skin. If it gets in your eyes, you'll feel like you're in hell. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 12, 2022
I stumbled upon an online review praising this Daiso line and decided to buy the cleansing water I needed! The low price made me a bit hesitant at first, but I learned it's made by the same manufacturers that produce many Korean cosmetics, so I took the plunge and bought it. When applied with a cotton pad, it's surprisingly effective at removing face makeup! As with most cleansing waters, you're supposed to use it with a cotton pad. It was fine for removing face makeup, but the moment I tried to gently remove my eye makeup - oh boy! It felt like hell. My eyes stung so badly, I thought they'd put acid in it! The pain was so intense I had to immediately rinse my eyes with water. Though there was no visible damage, tears kept streaming down. I thought maybe it was just me, so I tried again, extra carefully, but even with my eyes tightly shut, the pain was unbearable. I screamed and rushed to rinse it off again. Compared to other cleansing waters I've used the same way, this one seems to have some seriously irritating ingredients. Please be extremely careful around your eyes! I discovered that using this with Daiso's foam maker creates an amazing lather! Avoiding the eye area and gently massaging the fluffy foam on my skin works wonders for removing makeup!
