Well, I initially bought it just based on the price, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount. It's not too harsh on the eyes, and while I don't wear mascara, it removed most of my eye makeup effectively. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found that after using this for my first cleanse and leaving it, my face didn't become overly oily or excessively dry. It maintained a good oil and moisture balance overall. However, when my skin was in really terrible condition, it did sting a bit. I suppose there was some irritation from wiping off the makeup. But this can vary depending on the type of cotton pad you use. Also, I wouldn't recommend relying on this alone for removing all your makeup. It's best suited as a first step cleanser, particularly for taking off point makeup. I've been putting cotton pads soaked in this cleansing water into an empty toner pad container. It's surprisingly convenient! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2025
I've been using this for 20 days, and the texture is like pure water - it's so light! Even with my dry, blemish-prone skin, I experienced no irritation. It's impressive how well it removes even stubborn mascara. The downside is that if you use it alone, you might feel a slight oiliness. If I use only this cleansing water for both steps of my cleanse, I tend to get small bumps on my skin. It works best when used as the first step in a double cleanse, followed by a cleansing foam. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 26, 2024
Great value for money with its large size at an affordable price! It removes makeup effectively and doesn't leave a sticky residue, which I love. My skin is super sensitive, so I occasionally feel a slight tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 10, 2024
Compared to other cleansing waters, this one's budget-friendly, so you can use it generously without worry. The cleansing effectiveness is decent enough. It's perfect for those days when you've worn light makeup. There's not much to complain about, really. Though it might not be strong enough for those who wear heavy makeup. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2024
It has great cleansing effectiveness, capable of dissolving and removing color cosmetics and sunscreen, while still feeling fresh without any oily residue. I love that it cleanses so well yet feels light on the skin. Even mascara can be thoroughly removed with a cotton swab. Being a water-based formula, it gets used up quite quickly. At 5,000 won, it doesn't feel exceptionally cheap. You need to buy cotton pads or a foaming container separately for more convenient use. It stings if it gets into your eyes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 28, 2024
It doesn't cause any tingling sensation on the face and works as a basic cleansing water. It effectively removes light makeup. Sometimes it's not available at Daiso, so it's best to call and check before going. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 17, 2023
Affordable and removes makeup effectively! I use it to cleanse mineral sunscreen, blush, and eyeshadow, and it wipes everything off cleanly. No blemishes after use either. Nothing... Great price, great performance, totally satisfied. Nothing, absolutely nothing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 8, 2023
I was impressed that the cleansing water alone effectively removed my makeup The scent was quite strong, and it caused a slight stinging sensation in my eyes and a bit of tingling on my skin - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMay 1, 2023
1. Price: Incredible value at 5000 won for 500ml. The large volume seems to last forever - definitely the best feature. 2. Cleansing effectiveness: On days with heavier makeup, I use it twice. I mainly use it for removing base makeup and eyebrows, so I'm not sure how well it works on point makeup. Overall, it's pretty decent! 1. Scent: It's a personal preference, but I'm not a fan. 2. Deep dryness: Following my usual routine of slowly cleansing while watching Netflix, I noticed my skin feeling dehydrated. After briefly trying another cleansing water and coming back to this one, I felt my skin quickly becoming dry deep down. When you're on a tight budget, you probably won't find a better option than this. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 18, 2022
Among affordable cleansing waters, this one's a real bang for your buck! I bought it in a pinch and have been using it well. It's pretty effective at removing light makeup. There's no dryness or tightness after cleansing, and it's quite gentle on the skin. The finish feels a bit slippery, but if you rinse with lukewarm water afterwards, it leaves your skin feeling fairly clean. The formula is a water-based cleanser without any oil, so while it's lightweight, its cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking. It can remove sunscreen and light daily makeup to some extent, but a second cleanse with a cleansing foam is a must. Also, the burning sensation in the eyes is... quite intense.
