It has great cleansing effectiveness, capable of dissolving and removing color cosmetics and sunscreen, while still feeling fresh without any oily residue. I love that it cleanses so well yet feels light on the skin. Even mascara can be thoroughly removed with a cotton swab. Being a water-based formula, it gets used up quite quickly. At 5,000 won, it doesn't feel exceptionally cheap. You need to buy cotton pads or a foaming container separately for more convenient use. It stings if it gets into your eyes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 8, 2023
I was impressed that the cleansing water alone effectively removed my makeup The scent was quite strong, and it caused a slight stinging sensation in my eyes and a bit of tingling on my skin - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 7, 2023
The scent is lovely, with a nice tea tree fragrance. It's great value for money - a large size for just 5000 won, so you can use it generously for a long time. There's hardly any oiliness, leaving your skin feeling clean after use. I didn't experience any blemishes either. It stings if it gets in your eyes. You need to be gentle when cleansing around the eye area to avoid getting the product in your eyes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2022
Great value for money and lasts longer than expected. It also removes makeup better than anticipated. You get what you pay for... The scent is unpleasant and it causes significant eye irritation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSep 18, 2022
Among affordable cleansing waters, this one's a real bang for your buck! I bought it in a pinch and have been using it well. It's pretty effective at removing light makeup. There's no dryness or tightness after cleansing, and it's quite gentle on the skin. The finish feels a bit slippery, but if you rinse with lukewarm water afterwards, it leaves your skin feeling fairly clean. The formula is a water-based cleanser without any oil, so while it's lightweight, its cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking. It can remove sunscreen and light daily makeup to some extent, but a second cleanse with a cleansing foam is a must. Also, the burning sensation in the eyes is... quite intense. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 12, 2022
I stumbled upon an online review praising this Daiso line and decided to buy the cleansing water I needed! The low price made me a bit hesitant at first, but I learned it's made by the same manufacturers that produce many Korean cosmetics, so I took the plunge and bought it. When applied with a cotton pad, it's surprisingly effective at removing face makeup! As with most cleansing waters, you're supposed to use it with a cotton pad. It was fine for removing face makeup, but the moment I tried to gently remove my eye makeup - oh boy! It felt like hell. My eyes stung so badly, I thought they'd put acid in it! The pain was so intense I had to immediately rinse my eyes with water. Though there was no visible damage, tears kept streaming down. I thought maybe it was just me, so I tried again, extra carefully, but even with my eyes tightly shut, the pain was unbearable. I screamed and rushed to rinse it off again. Compared to other cleansing waters I've used the same way, this one seems to have some seriously irritating ingredients. Please be extremely careful around your eyes! I discovered that using this with Daiso's foam maker creates an amazing lather! Avoiding the eye area and gently massaging the fluffy foam on my skin works wonders for removing makeup!
