It truly doesn't smudge much at all. When I used to use the Kiss Me eyeliner, it would always smear due to oil, making it look worse than if I hadn't applied any. The color is a beautiful ash brown, not black-brown. It's perfect for those with cool or neutral light complexions. It's not completely smudge-proof - it's not a permanent marker after all - but I think it's usable if you keep that in mind. Since it doesn't smudge easily, touch-ups can be tricky. If you're not confident with eyeliner application, try using eyeshadow to create a guide before applying. - sl*****Combination SkinAtopic SkinMay 26, 2025
There are no positives to mention. I've used it once or twice, but I'm not inclined to reach for it again. The color is extremely light. I tested it at Olive Young before buying, and it's incredibly faint. At first, I thought maybe the tester was almost empty, but the color seemed fine, so I purchased it. Is the new product supposed to be like this too? It comes out like a dried-up eyeliner... I was shocked, so I opened the other one from the buy-one-get-one-free deal, and it was exactly the same. I'm absolutely stunned. What am I supposed to do with this two-for-one deal? When you apply it to your eyes, it's barely visible and smudges away instantly. Is this normal? Ugh... what a disappointing product. It's so light that it might be good for young teens practicing makeup. If you're skilled at applying eyeliner, absolutely avoid buying this. - ji*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 13, 2025
I really liked the color intensity - it wasn't too bold, which was perfect for my taste It was disappointing that the green line often peeled off completely - ch*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 4, 2025
The color isn't too intense, making it easy to correct if you're not satisfied with the line. The ash shade is quite pretty in its own way. Since the color is light, it's a bit less noticeable. It also runs out quickly. It might work well to draw the initial line with this, then follow up with a darker shade for more definition. - jc******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2025
The color payoff is absolutely fantastic. I saw great reviews elsewhere too, so I bought a 2-for-1 deal and split it with my sister. It requires a bit of skill to apply. Since I have monolids, one side ended up thick while the other was thin - a total disaster... If you're not great with makeup, definitely apply it thinly... I thought I was at least decent at this, but for some reason it's just not working out for me... - 4w********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 8, 2025
It's pretty decent overall. I didn't really notice the ashy tone, but it's still a solid choice. I can't think of any particular drawbacks. It's still working really well for me. - di*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2025
I've been using this eyeliner exclusively for years now. It's so thin and smooth, which I absolutely love. I can't think of any downsides. I'm really enjoying using this product. - hd******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 28, 2025
• It's closer to a natural black rather than an intense black • The color complements cool skin tones beautifully • It stains well, resulting in excellent longevity! • So far, I'm using this product without any complaints • For a more natural look, try applying eyeshadow over the eyeliner after drawing it - wn*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 18, 2025
At first, it comes out as dark as the darkest line in the photo, but as you use it, it lightens slightly to the second line, which I really like. I'm not particularly skilled at drawing eyeliner, so I often use this for creating dots. Hmm... After using it for a while, sometimes the liquid can overflow a bit too much. - dl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2025
Color - True to its 'Ash' name, it has a subtle and natural shade that's perfect for those who don't like intense eyeliners. Quantity - Although I tend to use cosmetics for a long time, the amount seems quite generous. I've been able to use it for ages (I only use it for my outer corners). As you can see in the photo, I've used it so much that the product name is scratched off, yet it still dispenses well! Application - The brush comes out easily, making it simple to draw. Even when I'm in a hurry, I can complete my eyeliner in just a minute, which is great. Inevitably, sometimes liquid can leak at the opening, but it quickly cleans up with a wipe. I've found that storing it vertically helps reduce this issue. You can increase the longevity by applying eyeshadow over the eyeliner! The natural color also works great as a brow product, giving a defined look.
