Pros
Hydration I've been so tired lately that it's hard to pay attention to my skin, so I relied solely on this toner when I heard it could do it all. At first, I thought my skin felt a bit dry after some time, but after using it repeatedly, I can confidently say one product is indeed enough. However, I might need to add a cream in winter. Skin Barrier Improvement My skin is super sensitive, so new products or even familiar ones can feel irritating when I'm not feeling well. But this product felt gentle and comfortable. Texture It has a thin, milky emulsion-like consistency. It absorbs well into the skin and doesn't feel sticky. I'm extremely satisfied and plan to purchase the entire line for consistent use.

☆ Hydration! (Great for combination dehydrated skin, especially if you struggle with oily absorption) I'm satisfied with the moisturizing power as recommended. As autumn approached, I felt the need to add more hydration to my lightweight skincare routine. But I didn't want anything too heavy that would make my skin greasy or not absorb well! I've been using a hydrating ampoule, serum, and soothing cream as my base routine. Adding this Cross Barrier Toner, which has a water emulsion-like texture, provided just the right amount of lightweight moisture. It's perfect! ☆ Gentle There's hardly any scent, and I didn't experience any blemishes.
Cons
★ The product container is quite thick, making it a bit uncomfortable to hold and use. I realized there's a reason why cosmetic containers are often slim and long. If it were a pump-type, it wouldn't have been an issue, but since you need to hold and shake out the product, I personally found it a bit inconvenient.
Tip
For those looking for a light skincare routine, I recommend using a hydrating ampoule to combat deep dryness, followed by this Cross Barrier Toner. It should be just right!

Pros
My skin type is dry. I was thrilled to win the Needly product because of its great ingredients. The toner isn't too watery, making it perfect for use between autumn and winter. While it doesn't provide intense hydration, it offers a nice, moderate level of moisture. It might be a bit heavy for summer use, but it should work well for combination skin too. I have somewhat sensitive skin that sometimes turns red when trying new cosmetics, but the Needly toner didn't cause any irritation, probably due to its quality ingredients. I also appreciated that it's nearly fragrance-free.
Cons
The container opening was a bit inconvenient, and the hydration doesn't last very long. When using the toner alone, I experienced some deep dryness. In winter, you'll definitely need to follow up with a cream or apply the toner twice.
Tip
I found that pressing the toner into the skin with your hands works better for absorption than applying it with a cotton pad.

Pros
As someone with combination dehydrated skin - oily in the T-zone but dry around the eyes and cheeks - I was initially worried this hydration-focused product might make my skin too greasy. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how refreshingly moisturizing it felt! After prepping my skin with my usual toner on a cotton pad, I applied this product with my hands, gently patting it in. Even before using any serum, my skin felt wonderfully plump and hydrated. The texture is slightly viscous but flows smoothly. As for the scent, it's hard to describe... I think it might just be the natural smell of the ingredients without added fragrances. While it's not particularly pleasant, it dissipates quickly, so you shouldn't worry about it.
Cons
The product packaging design! At first glance, I thought the color scheme and design were beautiful and unique. However, after using it, I realized it's not very practical. Since I use this as an essence toner and need to pour it into my palm, the design makes it somewhat awkward to use. It's not unusable, but I feel there could be a more user-friendly design.
Tip
I'd recommend using this more as an essence toner rather than an exfoliating toner. Take a bit more time to pat it into your skin compared to other toners - you'll notice even better hydration results!

There were times when I only applied this before going to the library, and my skin didn't feel dry at all. Skin type: Combination skin 1) Hydration Let's start with the hydration! It's incredibly moisturizing. At the end of summer, I thought it might be a bit heavy for my combination skin, so I was going to recommend it only for those with dry skin. But now that it's gotten bitterly cold, I'm loving how hydrating it is! It's amazing. It feels like it's really locking in moisture. 2) Texture It has a milky consistency. It doesn't feel greasy or heavy, but if you have combination skin and use it in summer, whew... it might feel a bit suffocating. For combination skin, it's quite seasonal. I highly recommend it for the changing seasons and winter. If you control the amount well, you can get that deep hydration without the heavy feeling. It's non-greasy, smooth, and absorbs well. 3) Fragrance It's fragrance-free. 4) Overall experience It feels like applying milk... Hmm, personally, it's as impressive as when I first tried the Abib Gum Sheet Toner. It feels incredibly soft and smooth. The hydration is also excellent. I'm very satisfied.
Cons
Drawbacks: 1) It's seasonal. It might feel heavy in summer. 2) Instead of the chubby packaging, what if it was a bit longer and thinner? I think a design that's easier to grip and control the amount would have been better.

This is a hydrating toner, not an exfoliating one! As you can see in the photo, the texture is more like a thin emulsion rather than a typical toner. It feels like you've applied an emulsion, so using this toner alone might provide enough hydration! While it won't give you that plump skin feeling you get after applying a cream, it's perfect for those who want light, dewy skin in the summer or for morning routines. I used it both morning and night. In the morning, I only needed this toner and a mist before applying powder foundation, and it gave me a beautiful glow. For evening, I followed up with an emulsion and cream for extra hydration. Using it this way, I never felt like my skin lacked moisture, and I didn't experience any blemishes.
Cons
While the packaging is refreshing and beautiful, it's a shame you can't see the contents inside. Also, the volume might be a bit small if you want to use it generously for hydration. But honestly, these are minor quibbles - I didn't have any major complaints!

It's been great to use lately as my face has been lacking hydration due to autumn allergies. I have combination dehydrated and sensitive skin, but after 2 weeks of use, I didn't experience any blemishes. The texture is more suitable for dry or combination dehydrated skin rather than oily skin, except during summer. It feels creamier than other toners, so even using just this toner maintains a certain level of moisture.

I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers! Thank you again for this opportunity. I've been diligently using this product morning and night without fail. As someone who typically suffers from extreme deep dryness, this product has been a game-changer! It effectively combats that dryness while leaving my skin incredibly smooth. Usually, I'd have to slather on layers of cream to achieve any semblance of hydration, but with this alone, my skin feels amazingly soft. It's more like an emulsion than a toner, absorbing well without leaving any sticky residue. I love that it doesn't make my hair stick to my face either! It seems to calm irritated skin quickly too. When I apply makeup over this, it goes on flawlessly! I'm absolutely in love with it and will definitely repurchase when I run out!
Cons
The only slight drawback might be that it's a bit tricky to control the amount you dispense. Other than that, I'll need to use it longer to find any other cons. It just works so well for me!
