I used to always apply toner with a cotton pad, but this toner's texture isn't as fluid as water-like toners. So after cleansing, I simply pat it on refreshingly with my hands. The application is smooth, and compared to regular water-like toners, it leaves a bit more hydration on the skin. It has a faint milky scent base and is a white, opaque, unscented toner. Because the toner has a slightly viscous texture, it helps control inner dryness better than other watery toners. Even when I use it alone in the evening, my combination dehydrated skin doesn't feel dry or tight. I've been too busy with moving lately to take good care of my skin, but I'm going to try using up a whole bottle consistently. During the day, after patting on the toner, I get a bit of oiliness in my T-zone, so I apply cream only to my cheeks. In the evening, I simply follow the toner with a mist. I'm quite satisfied with this routine!
ConsIn the morning when I'm doing my makeup, I use only a small amount! When I apply too much toner, my T-zone gets a bit oily. If you have oily skin, you might experience some excess oil.

Texture As someone with oily yet dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, I was pleased that this product resolved my skin's thirst. It absorbs well without feeling sticky, leaving a fresh finish. 2. Scent While it might be a matter of personal preference, I appreciated its fragrance-free formula. 3. Packaging I really liked the design of the packaging!
Cons1. Initially, I was happy that it addressed my skin's deep dryness. However, as time passed, I felt like my skin was getting oilier. It might be more suitable for fall and winter rather than summer.

As someone who finds multi-step routines tedious, I appreciated being able to apply it all at once. ✔️Fragrance It's unscented, making it suitable for those with fragrance sensitivities. ✔️Absorption Initially, it seemed to sit on the surface, but over time it absorbed well, leaving my skin feeling hydrated. ✔️Skin Improvement The first week was unremarkable, but with consistent use, I noticed my makeup applied much better! Considering this was the only change in my skincare routine, it seems to have made a real difference.
ConsAfter application, I did notice a slight oiliness, but that's likely due to my combination dehydrated skin.

I felt there was no need to use multiple products. Even though I tend to get a lot of milia when products are too heavy, I didn't experience that much with this. The texture isn't quite like a watery toner, but it's not as viscous as an emulsion either. I could apply cushion foundation right after this without any pilling. I used a semi-matte cushion, so I'm not sure how it would work with more hydrating types. I think this suits dry skin better than oily skin.
ConsThe toner itself is on the heavier side, so I think it's closer to a thin emulsion than a typical toner. Because of this, I believe it's not suitable for those who dislike heavy textures or have oily skin. It's better for dry skin than oily, and even those with dry skin might find it challenging to use in the peak of summer due to its richness.
TipI used this single product as my toner, emulsion, and cream all in one. When I felt I needed more hydration, I would apply it twice. I found this method more effective at combating deep dryness than layering multiple different products.

It's versatile enough for all skin types - dry, normal, combination, and oily. I think it would work best for normal to combination skin. For dry skin, you could use a water-based toner first to hydrate, then follow up with this one. Oily skin types might benefit from layering it once or twice on its own. Even combination dehydrated skin gets plenty of hydration. On normal skin, it blends beautifully with base makeup, allowing a lovely glow to emerge over time. The best part? It didn't cause any blemishes!
ConsIf you have oily skin, it might lead to some shininess that could build up later. Not recommended for those who strictly prefer water-based formulas.

Package: +☆ I love the modern blue packaging - it's not overly cutesy, which is great. Volume and Price: +♧ At 35,000 won for 200ml (1,750 won per 10ml), the value for money is slightly disappointing. (Still cheaper than Laneige Cream Skin at 28,000 won for 150ml, though?) This isn't meant to be used liberally like a watery toner. If its functionality justifies the price, it could be worth the splurge. However, considering there are alternatives, I'm on the fence. Texture: +☆ Reminiscent of Laneige Cream Skin, it's a creamy toner that balances oil and moisture. It's perfect for those with extremely dehydrated skin who are starting to need more oil. Application: +☆ After prepping with my usual toner pad, I patted this on with my hands. It felt like applying a toner and hydrating serum simultaneously - very nourishing. You might be able to skip a serum step with this. It would be great for a quick routine - just this toner and then straight to moisturizer if you're in a hurry. Post-application: ☆ I finished with my usual skincare routine, skipping the serum step. My skin didn't feel dry at all, suggesting this toner has good lasting hydration.
ConsOn the flip side: Absolutely not recommended for oily skin types. If you need to balance excess oil with hydration or need to wipe away oil, a cream toner isn't necessary. Stick to watery toners instead.
TipAs mentioned earlier, in a pinch you could apply moisturizer right after this toner. It's likely to be even more useful during seasonal changes when skin needs both hydration and some oil replenishment.

The texture is really rich and if you use it without knowing, it feels like an emulsion. Perhaps because of that, it's incredibly hydrating! It was truly gentle. I have sensitive skin, but nothing irritated me. Instead, it was so moisturizing that it felt soothing. While using this alone won't completely calm your skin, it provides enough hydration that you could skip an ampoule without feeling dry. After applying this toner, I could blow-dry my hair and do other things without feeling like the moisture was quickly evaporating! The packaging is also pretty and the bottle isn't too heavy.
ConsFor those with oily skin, it might feel too heavy and rich. Since the bottle is blue, it's hard to see how much product is left from the outside. You can see it, but not very clearly. Also, due to its texture, it's definitely not suitable as a pad toner. It would only work as an exfoliating toner or for absorption.
TipFor those with very dry skin, layering it twice should be sufficient. For combination or oily skin types, applying it once is more than enough!

It definitely seems effective in improving the skin barrier. No irritation when applied. ✓ Absorption Initially feels like it's not absorbing and sitting on the surface, but after a while, it sinks in completely. Doesn't run like water, allowing for quick and convenient application. ✓ (Deep and Surface) Moisturization As the seasonal change began, my skin barrier collapsed and deep dryness became severe. After using this, dryness improved significantly and my skin returned to a stable state! ✓ Skin Texture and Clarity Improvement Lately, my skin texture seems softer and complexion clearer - this product definitely plays a role! ✓ Clean Finish Despite its excellent moisturizing properties, I was worried it might feel heavy, but there's no heaviness, greasiness, or stickiness at all. It leaves a very clean and soft finish. ✓ Makeup Application (May vary individually) Makeup applies so well after using this... Even my Chanel Les Beiges, which always used to float no matter what base I used, finally adhered perfectly when I applied it after this toner and a light layer of cream... ✓ No Excess Sebum or Clogged Pores Some highly moisturizing products can cause excess sebum or clogged pores, but this product, despite its excellent moisturizing power, didn't cause any such issues. I'm touched!
Cons✓ Slightly Expensive The price might seem a bit high for a toner, but considering that a small amount provides sufficient moisture and it will last a long time, it might actually be more cost-effective than using cheaper products liberally. ✓ Slight Oil Build-up There's a slight oil build-up. It might be too much for oily skin & extremely oily skin, so I recommend using only a small amount.
TipWhen used in combination with products high in vitamin content, it's perfect for moisturizing + revitalizing the skin.
