It's a patch that you can apply to the specific area you want, not just a sticker patch. I often get blemishes on my forehead and chin... It was a hassle to apply them one by one, but it's so convenient and great to apply a large area!! It comes with a cotton swab, and the 100% cotton swab is individually packaged with Okotext certification!! After washing and drying, without applying anything, just dab the skin with the cotton swab. After 5-10 minutes, it turns into a transparent film and adheres tightly. They say this patch is for pre-emptive use before blemishes appear, but I've used it on blemished skin, and there's no irritation at all. The product was really fun to use in a very unique way. When blemishes appear, I cleanse the area and then apply the cream thinly to the dried skin using a sterilized cotton swab. (The thicker you apply it, the easier it is to remove) When the cream becomes transparent, I apply my basic skincare products (and makeup) as the finishing touch. To remove it, I use warm water and it comes off easily. As for the usage, personally I think it's best to apply the cream thinly if you're going to wear makeup. Applying it too thickly can make the surface uneven and opaque even when fully dried. The cream has a yellowish tint to it, which I find amusing. I find it better to apply it thickly before bed and sleep in it, rather than when going out. When applying makeup, it feels like the cream creates a protective barrier so the cosmetics don't directly touch the blemishes. The package comes with sterilized cotton swabs, which are thicker than regular ones, and I find that really helpful.
