The affected area gets coated, allowing you to sleep without worrying about the ointment. It's especially reassuring since I've heard that rubbing your face on pillows can worsen blemishes due to bacterial growth, but with this, you can rest easy. It takes some time to dry, and it stings a bit on larger pimples. Also, it doesn't peel off in one go, so you need to soak it in water a little. - mi********Combination SkinAcne SkinDec 15, 2023
I love that it comes with sterile cotton swabs, and the concept of an applicator patch is quite innovative. I wouldn't recommend this. It's difficult to control the amount, and even applying a small amount makes the area look overly shiny. - 83*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2023
This patch seems to perfectly understand our needs. When a blemish appears, squeezing it already leaves a scar, so preventing them is the answer! But when wearing makeup for long hours, blemishes tend to surface. These aren't the kind you should squeeze, just slightly red and inflamed. They don't go away on their own and stay for days, eventually growing into a bigger inflammation. I needed a product to soothe this inflammation process. This Yellow Cream Patch explicitly claims to be used 'before they appear', which made me trust it! It actually calms the inflamed area, preventing further progression and gently making the blemish subside! As someone extremely conscious about hygiene, I was impressed by its meticulous design - the double cap and sterilized cotton swabs. They say the double cap is to prevent ingredient changes. I've never seen such a thoughtful product... Considering you need to dip the swab repeatedly, having random cotton swabs would be unsettling, but including sterilized ones shows incredible attention to detail. Whose idea was this?! I get most of my blemishes between my nose and cheeks where the skin folds. The frustrating part is that patches don't stick well here due to movement, and makeup tends to build up, causing stress whenever blemishes appear. But this patch's soothing effect reduces blemish formation, and its best feature is the insane adhesion - it doesn't budge even with pushing, pulling, and laughing all day long (truly crazy adhesion!!). When applied to existing blemishes, there's a slight tingling, but it doesn't hurt or worsen the condition! A great advantage is that it can be used before makeup. When it dries, it becomes really thin and if applied thinly, it's invisible. With its incredible adhesion, it's genuinely usable before makeup. It definitely feels like it's preventing more blemishes from forming! It's effective! The downside is that the opening can get a bit messy?! If I had to nitpick, there's a slight shine when applied..? - ml*****Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresNov 30, 2023
It provides both spot treatment and protection. The individually wrapped cotton swabs included make application hygienic. It's difficult to remove and needs to be soaked in water, but even then, there's some irritation when peeling it off. I'm not sure about its effectiveness. If you clean the pointed tip on the opposite side of your foundation spatula and use it to apply, it's more precise than using a cotton swab. - uz***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresNov 29, 2023Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It applies incredibly thinly while providing a soothing effect. It wasn't irritating at all, and I could easily remove it by splashing some lukewarm water on my face a few times while washing. The cotton swabs were nice, but I don't feel it's very hygienic to dip them in and out. When applied thinly under makeup, it's not noticeable at first, but after just an hour or two, it starts to show and peels off completely. While it wasn't irritating, I didn't get the impression that it was a powerful spot treatment. - dm*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesRednessSep 24, 2023
To be honest, I'm not sure if it's effective or not. It's hard to tell... While it doesn't cause additional irritation, I can't say I've noticed any significant improvements either... - pa***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 28, 2023
I liked that this product can be applied to desired areas in the amount you want, unlike regular acne patches which often fall off during sleep or slip when applied over cream. While it doesn't have dramatic effects, as expected, it does seem to gradually reduce redness and calm blemishes with consistent use. It's a good item to have on hand at home. Unlike acne patches that can be easily peeled off, this one doesn't come off as easily. After applying it at night and sleeping, it's best to remove it in the morning after washing your face when it's slightly softened by water. If you apply it thickly and sit up while it's drying, the product applied to blemishes might run down, drying below where you intended. To prevent this, either lie down while it dries or apply a very small amount, which dries quickly without running. - se********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJul 27, 2023
I received this product for free through a Hwahae event, with no obligation to review! It forms a thin protective layer when applied, making it a great alternative to traditional patches. It seems to help calm blemishes to some extent. There's nothing particularly negative to mention. This is my first time using a product other than patches, and I'm enjoying the experience. After squeezing a blemish, I apply a medicated patch first, then follow up with the Yellow Patch. It's also great to use when you feel a blemish coming on, even before it surfaces. For makeup days, I prefer using regular patches over the Yellow Patch, as they're less noticeable and prevent makeup from pilling, even though they might be slightly visible. - ei******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJul 12, 2023
Unless you have skin of steel, make sure to do a patch test before using this product! I applied it to my forehead, chin, and between my eyebrows. I've had folliculitis between my eyebrows before, so I tried this as a preventative measure. However, it started burning intensely before it even dried, so I washed it off immediately. Right after washing, my skin was slightly red, but I thought it would calm down, so I did my skincare routine and went to bed. The next morning, my skin looked as if I had a cosmetic allergy or a chemical burn - it was red, irritated, and very painful. I'm not sure if I missed something in the other reviews, but please be very careful when using this. Additionally, when you first open it, the product is all clumped up in the twisting part. I initially wiped it off but then realized I should save some, so I took a picture of what was left. It's not only unappealing visually, but it also makes me question if this is a normal product. This definitely lowers my trust in the product. I hope they improve this issue. Patch test is absolutely essential. If you experience any burning or tingling sensation, it's recommended to wash it off immediately. - he*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2023
The individually wrapped cotton swabs are hygienic. It's great that you can apply it thinly without it being noticeable. It doesn't cause any tingling sensation. While the cotton swabs are hygienic, the container opening is too wide. It feels like dust might get in every time you open it... It adheres well to the cheeks even when applied generously, but for the nose, you need to apply a thin layer and let it dry.
