Shade 23... I was surprised it matched my skin perfectly! - The coverage is really excellent, so I'm using it happily - It adheres strongly to the skin - Highly recommend for those with shade 23 skin - Great for oily skin types! The more you layer it, the more it emphasizes pores and dead skin cells... that's disappointing - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2025
I was personally really satisfied with this. I used it during the summer when my skin gets super oily, and there was hardly any breakdown or darkening, so I didn't even need to touch up. I recommended it to everyone around me. The adherence was great too. After finishing this, I even bought that pink Banila Co cushion. I've completely settled on this one and I'm currently on my 6th compact. Please, everyone, just try it once! It did emphasize dead skin cells a bit, so I had to be diligent with my hydration routine. But aside from that, it's truly the best cushion foundation of my life. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2024
I've always struggled to find the right cushion foundation for my darker skin tone, but this one in shade 23 is a perfect match! It really lives up to its reputation... The coverage is incredible. For someone with combination dehydrated skin like me, this cushion is an absolute dream! As expected with matte formulas, it's unavoidable to experience some caking and patchiness. It also tends to accentuate dead skin cells. Can't be helped, I suppose... Please, please make sure to hydrate your skin thoroughly before using a matte cushion! Even if you just focus on applying your base products well and ensuring they absorb properly, you'll notice significantly less patchiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 7, 2024
It's pretty decent overall. I'd recommend it more for combination or oily skin types. It really emphasizes dead skin cells. Not recommended for very dry skin. If you have dry skin, it might be okay if you're thorough with your skincare routine. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinAug 4, 2024
The coverage is truly impressive. Compared to other cushion foundations, it really excels in concealing imperfections. Unfortunately, on my skin, it breaks down terribly, clings to the nose area, and severely accentuates dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 4, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin with some blemishes and a few pimples! I bought this because the pink case from the previous collaboration was so pretty... So I didn't really look up many reviews beforehand. It's definitely not completely matte, more like a semi-matte? But leaning towards the matte side. It felt like it adhered well to my skin! And the coverage is absolutely fantastic! It's a great cushion for summer use. I don't usually need much coverage, but it's perfect for days like now when I have some blemishes! The longevity was also not bad at all. It doesn't break down easily! Maybe because it needs to provide good coverage... it goes on quite thick. For someone like me who usually prefers light makeup, it's a bit challenging to use. It's very difficult to control the amount, so while people with good technique might be fine, I wouldn't recommend it for those who, like me, are clumsy and don't like heavy makeup. If you don't need much coverage, it might not be worth it. Also, while it doesn't break down easily, when it does, it doesn't look very pretty. And there's a slight emphasis on dead skin cells, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 24, 2024
The lingerie shade is absolutely stunning on cool skin tones, and the coverage is phenomenal! It severely accentuates dead skin cells and gets trapped in pores, making it unwearable. While the color and coverage are top-notch, it breaks down horribly in no time at all, leaving a mess. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 29, 2024
I love how it leaves my skin with a soft, matte finish. It holds up better than other cushion foundations, with less breakdown throughout the day. It seems to emphasize dead skin cells quite noticeably. For those like me who aren't very experienced with makeup, controlling the amount of product from the cushion might be challenging. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 9, 2024
I really liked that there was hardly any darkening and it lasted for a long time The coverage wasn't as good as I expected, and it severely emphasized dead skin cells and blemishes... - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 14, 2023
The case is so bright and pretty. It seems they've done a great job with the color selection. I have dry skin and usually use semi-matte foundations or cushions. I was so excited that I even bought a refill... I should have been more careful. It's extremely difficult to use. I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong... Even with a damp puff, a thorough skincare routine, and applying it thinly... it's terrible. It settles into pores and fine lines, emphasizes dead skin cells, and looks awful. The longevity is good, but it doesn't break down nicely. I've given up on it.
