  Pros

  With the dry weather lately, my eye area and forehead were feeling tight, and the laugh lines under my mask seemed more pronounced. That's when I received this product. First off, as you might expect from the box, product design, and name, it has a very lemony, fresh scent. While some might not like the artificial fragrance, I absolutely loved it. The outer layer is a tone & firmness balm, while the inner yellow part is a blemish balm. Being a balm-type product, it applied smoothly and evenly. It gave a subtle glow while seeming to coat and smooth out dry areas. When facing the cold wind during my commute, my skin felt less tight. I also appreciated that the packaging is designed to prevent the product from getting on your hands during application.

  Cons

  If I had to point out some drawbacks, while it does feel like it's coating the skin, it seems to just wrap the surface rather than deeply moisturizing. Also, with the humidity inside the mask, adding this made my face feel a bit oily. So after using it for a day or two, I only applied it at night. The instructions say to apply it frequently during day and night, but that seems a bit excessive. Also, since the ingredients list mentions it's not good for sensitive skin, I was a bit scared to apply it over large areas.

  Tip

  It's better to apply it at night before bed rather than in the morning before work.

  Skin Type: Combination dehydrated skin / Concerned about pores and blackheads +) Review after finishing the entire tube Unfortunately, I didn't see any effects.. I've reduced it to one star.. ✨ Scent The fragrance was pleasant. It has a subtle, refreshing lemon scent. While the lemon scent is quite noticeable when you first apply it, after about a minute, you hardly notice it. So I don't think it'll be a deal-breaker for most people. ✨ Application It glides on smoothly without any stiffness or resistance. ✨ Effectiveness I used it twice daily for a week on areas with freckles, excluding under the eyes and T-zone. So far, I haven't noticed any effects. I can't see any improvement in freckles, nor can I detect any brightening of my complexion. I'll come back with another review after I've used up the entire tube. ✨ Texture I appreciate that the formula doesn't crumble or break apart during use. Unlike some stick balms that tend to crumble, this product has a pleasantly firm texture that holds up well. Some people mentioned that it doesn't stick to hair, but that wasn't my experience. Perhaps it's because I apply it in broad strokes? While it's not an extremely sticky formula, it does tend to cling a bit.

  Here's why I deducted one star from my rating. After applying it twice daily for a week, I noticed today when writing this review that half of it has worn down, as shown in the photo. In my opinion, the value for money isn't great considering the price. If I could see even a slight visible effect, I might consider repurchasing, but I'm not sure how many tubes I'd need to use before seeing results.

  Tip

  I was certain that if I applied this product to my butterfly zone, it would trigger a breakout party on my face. So I only applied it to the outer areas of my face. On the first day, I only applied it around my eyes where I have freckles. On the second day, I also applied it around my chin, but the next day, I immediately noticed a cluster of blemishes popping up around my chin area. As soon as I stopped applying it to my chin, the issue resolved itself. *I think it would work well if you're careful to avoid areas sensitive to oil.

However, I got to try this product as a Hwahae Tester winner, and it's truly not sticky at all. My hair doesn't stick to my cheeks, and the texture isn't heavy, which I love. Scent - Fresh lemon fragrance Instead of a typical cosmetic scent, it has a subtle lemon fragrance that's pleasant and not off-putting. Easy to use I apply it after cleansing and toning. It glides on smoothly without feeling too thick, which is great.
