I tried the Vita C Plus Spot-C Firming Ampoule Balm Stick and was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it! First off, the vitamin C content seems to help brighten my dull complexion. Within just a few days of use, my skin looked clearer and had a healthy glow. The stick format is hygienic as it doesn't get on your hands, and it's super convenient to reapply anytime, anywhere. It glides on smoothly, adhering well to the skin and absorbing nicely without feeling heavy or sticky - leaving a fresh finish. I focused on using it on areas prone to dryness like around my eyes, nasolabial folds, and forehead. Over time, I felt my skin becoming firmer and more elastic. There's no strong vitamin C scent, just a subtle fragrance that's not overwhelming. It's efficient for targeting both wrinkles and brightening simultaneously. The small size is perfect for popping in my purse for touch-ups throughout the day. I plan to keep using it consistently as I think it'll help fade blemishes with continued use. Depending on your skin type, it might feel a bit rich and potentially lead to some shine. - 87*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 18, 2025
I didn't notice a significant brightening effect, but I trusted it because it's a functional product. This type of ampoule stick seems excellent for applying to the neck area. However, the price point makes me hesitate about repurchasing. The product doesn't last as long as expected due to its small size. As for the scent, it has that typical vitamin smell, which I found rather unremarkable. - de********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedSep 4, 2024
The scent is lovely, and it feels like you're applying pure vitamin goodness to your skin. It gives you that sense of improving your complexion. It's convenient to carry around, and I think it's helping to lighten my dark circles. It feels a bit rich, which might make your skin feel slightly oily. The price is a bit higher than expected, which is somewhat disappointing. The yellow color comes from the vitamins. Try applying it around your eyes and on your C-zone for best results. - kc******Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2024
It's convenient to carry and has a rich formula, making it great for winter use. While I'm not sure about the whitening effects yet, I like the scent and I'm generally satisfied with it. I bought it on sale, so the price was okay, but the regular price seems a bit high. It's somewhat sticky, so it's best to avoid applying it to the cheek area. - no******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 29, 2023
I tried a vitamin C balm from another brand before and loved the results, so I decided to give Missha's a go. Although I haven't used it much yet, I have high hopes because Missha products are usually great. The stick balm has just the right firmness and absorbs well into the skin. The case tends to pick up fingerprints easily. Even after just a few uses, you can see hand marks on it. I apply it when my skin feels dry. It's also great for tired eyes with dark circles, and other signs of aging like wrinkles. - fl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2023
I often use this ampoule balm stick, not just the purple one. It contains vitamin C, so I'm using it to help brighten my dull under-eye area and areas with pigmentation. It's very moisturizing, and the lemon scent makes me feel refreshed. Unlike regular vitamin ampoules, you can use this during the day, which is super convenient! Since I'm so satisfied with the purple stick, this one feels more like a snack in comparison. If you're a fan of the blemish-targeting ampoule, try using this stick during the day. - fs****Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 16, 2023
I'm using this primarily on areas with dark spots and blemishes. It has just the right amount of hydration, leaving my skin feeling moisturized with a subtle glow. I'm really enjoying using it! I'm very satisfied with this product. It's non-irritating, moisturizing, and absorbs well. I can't think of any downsides. You'll likely see faster results if you use this along with an essence and cream. I've noticed my overall complexion has become much brighter. - kd******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 14, 2022
Absorbs well ★★★★★ It applies smoothly. Absorption ★★★☆☆ It seems to form a layer while still being somewhat absorbed. Hydration ★★★★☆ It feels like it creates a protective barrier. I think all skin types could use this. I bought the one that comes with two 10g tubes. The fact that you can't apply it to your lips, and if you apply it down to your neck, it runs out faster than expected. There's not a lot of product in the tube. For combination skin, I only use it on dry areas in fall and winter; it might be challenging to use in other seasons. I wish they would have more frequent sales. - eh******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 8, 2022
I have acne scars on my cheeks and dry skin. Even in summer, I always apply toner > hydrating ampoule > cream, and in winter, it's toner > moisturizing ampoule > moisturizing essence > cream. That's how dry my skin is! The advantages of this Vitamin C stick are: 1. The scent is refreshing. It's not that iron smell, but a pleasant citrusy fragrance. 2. It glides on smoothly, and the amount that comes off in one swipe is just right. 3. The hydration level is perfect. I use it instead of essence and finish with cream, and there's no dryness at all. In summer, it might even work well in place of cream. 4. I love that it can be used in the morning! I can apply a high-concentration vitamin product at night and use this Vitamin C stick in the morning. 5. It feels gentle. Surprisingly, even when alternating with other contrasting products, my skin doesn't react or become sensitive. 6. Despite being gentle, when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels supple and soft. I haven't been using it for long, but I'm not getting any new blemishes, and my acne scars seem to be gradually fading. I'm planning to repurchase and use it for a few months! There are no downsides to this stick. Most sticks feel thick or overly coated, making skin feel suffocated, but this one applies in an incredibly thin layer, which is great. It doesn't have the typical drawbacks of vitamin skincare products - you don't have to apply it only at night or wash it off before sun exposure, and it's not sticky at all. No worries about it getting stuck in your hair! It's hard to find any downsides, but if I have to mention something, maybe it's that you use it up quickly? The stick format is so convenient that I tend to use it more often. - yo****Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2022
The stick format makes it super convenient to apply. Just open the cap, twist, and glide it on - no mess on your hands, so it's effortless to use. For an amazing boost, try pairing it with the Vita C Plus Spot Correcting Firming Ampoule! The quantity is disappointingly small. Even if you use it daily, it seems like it won't last a full month. Plus, being a stick format, there's a downside - you can't use up all the product inside, even when there's still plenty left at the bottom. For enhanced results, use it together with the Vita C Plus Spot Correcting Firming Ampoule - the synergy effect is incredible!
