This lipstick is absolutely gorgeous, whether you use it as a base or on its own. I originally bought it as a base, but the color payoff is surprisingly beautiful. You can create a whole mood with just this lipstick! Since it doesn't stain the lips, I find myself worrying about it every time I eat something. The versatility of this lipstick is impressive. It works wonderfully as a base layer for other lip products, but it's also stunning enough to wear alone. The pigmentation is more vibrant than expected, allowing you to effortlessly create different looks. I've been using it for a week, and I think it would suit those with warm undertones nicely It really emphasizes dead skin cells terribly. The color payoff is insanely good, it's off the charts! Just a light tap gives you intense pigmentation. I've been using it for almost two years and still haven't finished it. It's perfect as a base layer before applying tint. It can feel a bit heavy if used alone due to its matte finish, but if you apply it lightly, it looks beautiful.

As someone with a neutral skin tone, I loved that it didn't look off or unnatural even when I applied warm shades. Given the nature of lipsticks, I'd say the staying power was a bit disappointing. I wish it had better longevity.

First off... it's definitely a matte product, so if you have dry lips;;; it'll likely make them even drier. The staying power is average... I only use it about four times a month at most...?? The subtle, muted pink+mauve tone is perfect for daily wear. It applies creamily but finishes with a soft, powdery feel, making it comfortable for everyday use. As it's a matte product, it may accentuate dead skin cells if your lips are dry. While it adheres well, due to its matte nature, it might wear off quickly from the inner part of the lips. You can reduce the appearance of dead skin cells by applying lip balm beforehand.
