My skin reacts sensitively to changes in environment and lifestyle habits. While I can use products that feel slightly oily, rich barrier creams tend to cause blemishes on my skin. Having sensitive skin, it's best to stick with products that work well, but I also enjoy trying new ones occasionally. In the past, I often struggled with incompatible or irritating high-performance ingredients, but nowadays, I've built up enough data to generally find suitable products just by looking at the full ingredient list. This product also had no irritating ingredients and contained many that work well for me, like hyaluronic acid, so I applied to be a Hwahae Tester. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This review is based on 8 days of use (12.02~12.09). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Texture and Characteristics: The texture is like a viscous runny nose, but on the thinner side. When you pump it onto the back of your hand, it tends to drip easily. It has a hydrating texture with almost no oily feel. When applied, there's no stickiness or residue, and it absorbs quickly. User Experience: It's not a rich serum, but rather a light, hydrating formula that's easy to apply without feeling heavy. Despite being lightweight, it didn't feel lacking in moisture. With some products, I often experience deep dryness or tightness, but this serum felt just right - neither too little nor too much. Also, as someone with sensitive skin prone to unexplained allergic reactions, I always check for itching or redness first when trying new basic skincare products. Overall, there were no major issues, probably due to the lack of irritating ingredients. Effects After Use: The product promotion used the hashtag #GlowSerum, and interestingly, there's a slight magical sparkle right after application. Unlike the oily shine from moisture-barrier ingredients or the artificial glow that feels like a film on the skin, this has a dewy sparkle. I'm not sure if this is good or if it affects the skin, and it does fade over time. I check the effects by applying it in the evening and observing the skin condition the next morning. Products that suit me well result in a natural sebum-like glow and tightened pores in the morning, while unsuitable ones leave the skin dry or with loosened pores. While it's winter, so I don't get that natural sebum feel, I do notice just the right amount of hydration and a visible glow. This might partly be due to my good skin condition lately, but at least it seems this product suits me well. Packaging and Container: Though unrelated to the contents, the packaging and container were impressive. It came in an elegant cylindrical case, and the design and color of the cosmetic container itself were beautiful. It had a luxurious, feminine feel that would look at home on a woman's vanity. The top of the container can be rotated to reveal the pump, and rotated back to hide it. This structure eliminates worries about leakage in a swim bag, which is often a concern with pump-type cosmetics. It's also convenient to use without needing a separate cap, making it a good design. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I usually use basic skincare products without high expectations, thinking it's fine as long as they don't cause allergies or blemishes. But I was surprised by how well this product suited me. While my recent regular lifestyle and finding a good combination of moisturizing products have contributed to my good skin condition, I believe this serum has also had a significant impact based on how it feels. I couldn't review aspects like whitening, wrinkle improvement, or pigmentation reduction within this short review period, so I focused on its basic skincare properties. Even without considering its functional claims, it seems to be a good product.
ConsWhile the container and design might suggest a rich, nourishing serum, it's actually lighter and more hydrating than expected. Those with dry skin might need to pay extra attention to moisturizing. Also, the price is quite high, and the discount isn't particularly significant. I'll come back when I've earned more money!
TipI'm adding some products that caused blemishes for me. Please note that individual experiences may vary, so use this information as a reference only. Products that didn't suit me well (problematic ingredients): - The Ordinary, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (high concentration of niacinamide) - Sidmool, Dr. Troub Retinol 1.1% (retinol) - Torriden, Centella Real Cell Meizing Mask Pack (high concentration of niacinamide) - From Nature, Galactomyces Age Essence (high concentration of niacinamide, galactomyces ferment filtrate) - Keep Cool, Soothe Bamboo Toner (citric acid...?) - Matiderm, Photo Age Ampoule (high concentration of ascorbic acid, retinol ester) - Matiderm, Night Renew Ampoule (high concentration of AHA) Also: - Aestura, Atobarrier 365 Cream (non-inflammatory blemishes) - Amplen, Ceramide Shot Ampoule Mist (mild allergy) - Torriden, Dive-in Skin Booster (mild allergy) (These are all rich skin barrier line products. Possibly due to ceramides)

Due to my sensitivity, my previous skincare products were mostly focused on soothing. The only change I've made recently is adding more hydrating elements. However, entering my 30s, I was diagnosed with slightly less elasticity compared to others, which sparked my interest in products targeting firmness, radiance, and Inner Glow. That's when I got the chance to try Cladié's product. Let me break it down step by step: Regarding absorption and application: The texture isn't heavy, but it's not super light either. It has a moderate consistency, similar to those trendy green pore ampoules. When applied, it doesn't absorb immediately but spreads evenly. It does absorb quickly once you pat it in, so you might need to do some rolling motions. It's also reminiscent of Gokujun Skin's rich texture! As for hydration: Since it's not highly concentrated, one application doesn't feel like it fully hydrates. However, I prefer layering lighter formulas multiple times, so this product suits me well. Keep in mind, it's not instantly absorbed and requires patting for proper absorption, which might limit how many layers you can apply.
ConsAs mentioned in the positives, the light texture means you don't get that intense moisturizing or nourishing feeling from a single application. The application process, where it spreads rather than absorbs immediately and requires multiple rolling and patting motions, was a bit cumbersome for me. And honestly, the price is quite steep... Since it's a brightening serum, it's recommended to use it consistently for about two weeks. I've only used it for a week, so I haven't noticed significant differences yet. But for such a pricey product, I haven't seen any remarkable improvements so far.

At first, it felt a bit sticky, but as I massaged it in, it absorbed completely, leaving a silky finish. Though I haven't used it for long, my skin texture already feels softer!
ConsFor my skin type, this product was a bit light. While it absorbs well, the hydration wasn't quite enough. It might work well on its own during summer months.
TipAfter using just the essence for a couple of days, I felt it lacked moisture. Mixing it with my usual facial oil made a significant improvement.

Most serums come with droppers, but this packaging allows for super hygienic use - very clever! The difference in skin condition between days when I use this serum and when I don't is noticeable, especially in terms of brightening and clarity.
ConsThe scent isn't quite my style, if I had to pick something. Not much else to criticize, but if I'm being picky, it's quite light so you might need to pay extra attention to moisturizing afterwards. I finish with an oil or a shea butter-based cream to lock it in.
TipMy routine: After cleansing, I tone with a cotton pad, apply the Cladea Timeless Serum, then finish with a hydrating cream and facial oil. Sealing the serum with an oil barrier seems to make my skin look even clearer and more radiant the next day!

While it might be a bit light on nourishment for my dry-leaning combination skin, I think it could work well for those with oily skin. I love how the product's unique consistency doesn't leave any residue, resulting in a pleasantly matte finish. The packaging is so beautiful it could be mistaken for a fragrance product rather than a serum. The twist-open cap helps keep dust and other impurities out.
ConsFor combination skin, the texture might be too light, leaving the U-zone feeling slightly dry even after 2-3 applications. Considering the price, the product seems a bit lacking in terms of oil and moisture balance.
TipIt works perfectly when layered after toner, two rounds of serum, and then cream.
