  Pros

  Here's my review after being selected as one of The Hwahae Testers! I was impressed by the packaging right away - it exudes a sense of luxury. Unlike typical serums that are thick and come in dropper bottles, this one has a thinner consistency and comes in a pump bottle, which makes it convenient to use. There's hardly any scent, which is great for those who are sensitive to fragrances. With winter drying out my skin, I've been using this serum after a high-concentration ampoule toner. It's not too heavy following the ampoule toner, but not too light either. While it might be slightly lacking in hydration, I think it would be perfect for spring and fall use.

  Cons

  The price point seems a bit high, and I find the thin consistency somewhat disappointing for a serum.

  Tip

  I find the hydration is better when I use it after an ampoule toner. If you use it after a regular toner, you might experience some dryness.

  Before diving into the review, I'd like to express my gratitude to Hwahae and the brand representatives for giving me the opportunity to try this product. As someone with combination-dry skin, I found this product to be quite satisfactory. When I first applied it, the texture felt slightly viscous and sticky, which made me think it might be oily or rich. However, as it settled, the finish became increasingly fresh and light. I believe even those with oily skin can use this without much concern.

  Cons

  I find it disappointing that the price point seems a bit too high. It's almost at the level of department store cosmetics, which makes it feel burdensome. I probably won't purchase it for regular use due to the cost. Also, while I mentioned the fresh finish as a positive point earlier, I found it actually felt somewhat drying on my skin during the peak of winter, which was a letdown.

  When I mixed it with my moisturizer, it seemed to address the hydration issues I had experienced previously.

After applying, I'm not sure if it's just a feeling, but my skin feels soft and smooth. The formula is suitable for summer use, and it's gentle enough for dry, sensitive, and oily skin types. It's neither too rich nor sticky.

  I was shocked when I saw the price. It feels expensive for the small amount you get. Honestly, given the high cost, I can't find any significant advantages that justify the price... There's no oil content, and it lacks sufficient hydration, so you may need to apply additional products for oil and moisture balance alongside this one.
