I've lost count of how many years I've been buying this and how many I've gone through. It's perfect for just replenishing hydration. Occasionally, when I get a blemish, I apply it in the morning. By the time I wash my face, the blemish has either calmed down or those tiny sebum plugs have disappeared - it's amazing! I'm off to buy more right now. I'm not sure if it's because of this, but the texture is quite thick. While it's not sticky, it doesn't absorb well, which makes my makeup pill. The price is on the high side. The product seems to work hard on hydration and blemish control. It's particularly effective for combination dehydrated skin that needs a moisture boost without causing additional oiliness. However, its thick consistency might not be ideal for layering under makeup. Consider using it as part of your nighttime routine or on makeup-free days to maximize its benefits for your complexion. - ol************Combination SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2025
I really appreciated that it comes in a glass bottle. The ingredients are great and the price is reasonable too. Overall, it was quite nice to use without any issues. The particles in the essence didn't dissolve well during application, which was a bit bothersome. The hydration effect isn't as remarkable as advertised - it's just average. It's not quite enough for fall and winter use. Make sure to thoroughly dissolve the particles in your palms before applying. Otherwise, they might remain visible on your face. - ss********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 20, 2025
I've been using this for half a year now. I first tried the Dictioniste toner as a sample, and now I'm using two full-size bottles of the toner, plus the cream and ampoule. In the morning, I use it as part of my Hwahae routine, and in the evening, I combine it with other products for hydration! - It's fantastic for evening out skin texture. The toner from the same line also smooths the skin, but the ampoule feels like it really packs in the moisture. - Deep hydration! No more dry, flaky skin... - It's great to use anytime, whether before makeup or for skincare That's all I need to say... I have nothing more to add. It's really that good. I make sure to use it morning and night. I even take it with me when I travel. I guess because it's become popular, the discount rates aren't as good as before... It's still worth using, but seeing the price gradually increase from what used to be an affordable range makes me feel a bit regretful. My sister switched to the entire Dictioniste line after I convinced her, and now I'm mooching samples from her! - jj***Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 19, 2025
The texture is viscous, similar to mucus. It absorbs quickly when applied. After application, there's no sticky feeling, making it perfect for use before makeup or layering without any pilling. This worked well for my oily skin. It's not too runny, which made it easy to apply. I didn't notice any particular scent. While it absorbs well, it can feel dry after a few hours, so you might need to apply a cream to maintain long-lasting hydration. - ch*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 17, 2025
Honest Review of Dictionist Amino Acid Ampoule The Good Points ✨ The hydration is truly incredible! This product is a real gem! From the moment you apply it, you can feel the burst of moisture. Even as we're entering the rainy season, we all know hydration is absolutely essential for our skin, even in summer. With hot weather and constant exposure to air conditioning, not to mention layers of sunscreen, our skin can easily become dehydrated. But this ampoule solves all those worries in one go! Instant Hydration Power You can definitely feel your skin becoming more supple right after application. The texture is perfect - not sticky, but with a nice, bouncy hydration. It absorbs quickly too, so it's not a hassle to use on busy mornings, and you don't have to worry about it transferring to your pillow when used at night. Tackles Deep Dryness Perfectly This is really the key feature of this product. You know that annoying feeling when your skin seems oily on the surface but feels tight underneath? This ampoule is a true champion at eliminating that deep dryness! It feels like the moisture is penetrating to the deepest layers of your skin, keeping it hydrated all day long. Summer Essential In summer, it's easy to neglect skincare because you don't want to apply thick, sticky creams. But this ampoule is light yet deeply hydrating, making it a reliable partner for summer skincare. It provides instant hydration to skin dried out by air conditioning. Benefits of Amino Acids Perhaps due to the amino acid content, my skin feels noticeably softer. I've seen a significant reduction in flaking and roughness, and my overall skin condition seems to have improved. Conclusion This is truly a high-performance ampoule! It's satisfying in every aspect - hydration, absorption, and lasting power. The only downside is the volume, which almost makes me want to deduct a star. While I strongly recommend this to anyone struggling with hydration in summer, you might also want to wait for a larger size to be released. It's a shame to have to use such a great product sparingly! Disappointing Volume for the Price Considering the price, the volume becomes even more disappointing. Of course, it's probably due to the high-quality ingredients, but it's a fact that it's a bit pricey for daily use. If there was a more reasonably priced, larger volume option, more people could experience this great product. Lack of Refill Options It would be great if there was an option to refill the product while keeping the original container. It would be both environmentally friendly and cost-effective, but unfortunately, there's no such option. - ag******RecommendedJun 16, 2025
The consistency is somewhat viscous. It feels like a middle ground between a gel cream and an ampoule. My skin texture had been deteriorating lately, causing me stress, but since using this product, both my skin texture and blemishes have significantly improved. I plan to continue using it consistently. The slightly viscous texture might be a bit heavy for those with extremely oily skin, especially during the summer months. - tp********Dry SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
The Dictionist Amino Acid Ampoule made a noticeable difference in my skin texture within just a few days of first use. My once rough and dull skin became significantly smoother and softer, allowing makeup to apply more evenly and adhere better without any patchiness. The formula has an impressive texture - neither too heavy nor too thin - with just the right consistency to meld seamlessly with the skin upon application. It absorbs quickly without any sticky residue, leaving a fresh finish that's perfect for both morning and evening use. What truly stands out is the long-term improvement in skin health and texture. Areas that previously showed flaking dead skin cells or uneven texture visibly improved, resulting in a complexion that looks plump, hydrated, and smooth. Overall, this product gave me the strong impression that it strengthens the skin's fundamental health. The main drawback is the price-to-volume ratio. While I understand that ampoules tend to be more expensive, the amount you get for the price can be a bit of a burden, especially if you're using it daily as it runs out quickly. The effectiveness of the product makes me want to use it every day, but the small volume means I find myself trying to conserve it, which can be frustrating. I think it would be great if they offered refill sizes or a larger volume version. While I'm very satisfied with the product's quality, the price and volume ratio makes me hesitate when considering long-term repurchase. The key to getting the most out of this ampoule is daily use! While you can feel some improvement in skin texture after just a day or two, using it consistently morning and evening leads to progressively smoother and clearer skin. When your skin needs texture improvement, I recommend applying 2-3 drops gently over your entire face after toner every day. Here's a pro tip: on days when you notice dead skin cells building up, layer on a bit more of the ampoule. You'll find your makeup applies much more smoothly the next day. - so********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2025

I'm continuing to use this product because it's gentle and moisturizing. I really like it! While there's nothing particularly disappointing about it, I can't help but wonder if the exfoliating particles are really necessary... The product seems to be well-suited for those with sensitive skin, providing good hydration. However, the reviewer questions the inclusion of exfoliating beads, suggesting they might prefer a smoother formula. This feedback could be valuable for consumers who are looking for gentle skincare options without physical exfoliants.
