It's great for my combination to dry scalp that occasionally gets dandruff. I use it for my second shampoo. Even though I have straight hair that tends to get greasy if not washed properly despite being dry, this shampoo removes excess oil effectively. So far, I haven't experienced any greasiness issues. There's nothing particularly bad about it. However, while the overall scent isn't too strong - it's a fresh woody scent with a very subtle hint of tea tree - those who dislike the smell of tea tree might find it slightly uncomfortable. For combination to dry hair, this shampoo is quite effective at removing excess oil, so I recommend using it together with a conditioner. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2024
It's great for reducing scalp oiliness. Makes managing my previously limp hair much easier. The scent doesn't agree with me. Since it's acidic, I can only use small amounts at a time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 6, 2024
As someone with an oily scalp, this tea tree shampoo was perfect for me. After washing, my hair feels fresh and it's like all the greasiness has been thoroughly cleaned away. If you're not a fan of tea tree or its scent, this might not be for you. Those with sensitive scalps might experience some tingling, and it may not suit everyone. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2024
It's great at controlling oil and doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp, so no itchiness! While there's nothing really to complain about, it is a bit pricey. I wish they'd offer a larger size. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 11, 2024
Not only does it have a lovely scent, but it also effectively removes oil, leaving your skin feeling clean The amount that comes out with one squeeze seems a bit excessive - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 28, 2024
Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent, perfect for summer use. Lather: Foams up nicely. Experience: The tea tree scent is charming. It removes excess oil without making hair feel too stiff, making it great for daily use. Usage period: Started using it before peak summer. Price: Purchased at about half the regular price. I hoped the tea tree ingredient might help with scalp blemishes, but there wasn't any significant improvement. The higher price point compared to regular shampoos is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 19, 2024
I have an oily scalp but no dandruff and my scalp isn't sensitive. This shampoo should satisfy most people with oily scalps. It lathers up nicely with plenty of foam and has a refreshing herbal scent that I really love. Even two days after washing, my scalp didn't itch at all. It seems to reduce oil production too. I switched from regular supermarket shampoos and I'm now on my second bottle! It's a bit on the pricey side, so I recommend buying it when it's on sale! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2024
It feels refreshing and has a lovely scent. It lathers well and gives a sensation of thoroughly removing oil from your hair. If you don't use conditioner afterwards, your hair might feel a bit stiff. For softer hair, I'd recommend using it with a conditioner. The scent is so nice that it would pair well with the Essen Herb body wash too. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2024
The lather is rich and luxurious. It seems to effectively control excess oil. While it can be a bit tricky to rinse out as it tends to tangle my hair, I'm willing to put up with this minor inconvenience as long as it doesn't cause any blemishes on my scalp. I'll update with more tips if I discover any. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 17, 2024
I loved how its cleansing effectiveness kept my hair from getting greasy for a long time The only downside was that I occasionally got a few blemishes, but that's about it
