First off, the scent is absolutely delightful. What's even better is that it lathers up really well, so you only need to use a small amount - it's quite economical! As someone with oily skin, I find its cleansing effectiveness to be excellent, which makes me want to keep using it. The shampoo bottle design is also beautifully executed! I switched to this because my dry scalp was flaking, and I'm happy to report that it has eliminated the flaking issue. Even my family member with oily skin tried it and says it has great cleansing power. After using it, there's a slight cooling sensation on the scalp, which might be hit or miss for some people. (I personally enjoy that cool feeling, but a friend who used it wasn't a fan) - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMar 29, 2025
It's a transparent gel-type formula that feels reminiscent of dish soap. Despite being mildly acidic, it lathers up nicely with plenty of bubbles. While it doesn't leave your hair feeling stiff, it does provide a satisfyingly clean sensation. Although it's called a tea tree shampoo, the scent is more reminiscent of pine cones than tea tree itself. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, but it's a shame it disappears so quickly after rinsing. The main drawback is that for a shampoo, the fragrance doesn't last at all. It seems like there's absolutely no lingering scent left on the hair after use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 20, 2025
When I first received it, I was intrigued by its gel-like consistency, but it turned out that was due to the cold weather. The tea tree scent wasn't overpowering, which is good since strong fragrances can be divisive. The cleansing effectiveness was also satisfactory. While I'm using it contentedly and don't have any real complaints, I had expected tea tree to give a cooling sensation similar to peppermint or menthol. However, there wasn't any such effect at all. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2025
I loved how generous the amount was! The scent is nice, and it lathers up really well! I have an oily scalp that gets itchy, but I didn't see any improvement after using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 2, 2024
I bought this without high expectations since other reviews mentioned it wasn't very cooling, but it actually has a subtle, pleasant cooling effect. I prefer it because it's not overly artificial. It seems to dispense too much product at once. Compared to other shampoos of the same size, I feel like it's running out faster. As someone with oily skin, I found this product great for my first cleanse. It's not too harsh, which makes it perfect for that initial wash. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 11, 2024
Not only does it have a lovely scent, but it also effectively removes oil, leaving your skin feeling clean The amount that comes out with one squeeze seems a bit excessive - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinJun 23, 2024
The fragrance is really strong. I personally like it, but it's definitely a love-it-or-hate-it situation. It leaves your scalp feeling refreshingly cool, making it perfect for summer use. The intense scent can be divisive, and it doesn't linger on the body for too long. The cooling effect might make it a bit tricky to use in winter. If you've enjoyed the herbal scents in other products, I'd recommend giving this a try. Just keep in mind that the fragrance is even more potent than you might expect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2024
It's gentle yet has great cleansing effectiveness! I thought it might have a tingling sensation like mint because of the tea tree, but there's none of that. The scent isn't strong, and it disappears completely after washing and drying your hair! For those with long hair, make sure to use a treatment or oil afterward. If you have short hair, using it every other day should be fine. While it's not a product that's difficult to lather, it's slightly less foamy than I'd like (which is why I end up using a bit more product). - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2024
It's a decent product with a subtle tea tree scent and satisfactory cleansing effectiveness. Nothing particularly bad, but it's rather ordinary considering the somewhat high price. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 28, 2024
Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent, perfect for summer use. Lather: Foams up nicely. Experience: The tea tree scent is charming. It removes excess oil without making hair feel too stiff, making it great for daily use. Usage period: Started using it before peak summer. Price: Purchased at about half the regular price. I hoped the tea tree ingredient might help with scalp blemishes, but there wasn't any significant improvement. The higher price point compared to regular shampoos is a bit disappointing.
