It's a transparent gel-type formula that feels reminiscent of dish soap. Despite being mildly acidic, it lathers up nicely with plenty of bubbles. While it doesn't leave your hair feeling stiff, it does provide a satisfyingly clean sensation. Although it's called a tea tree shampoo, the scent is more reminiscent of pine cones than tea tree itself. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, but it's a shame it disappears so quickly after rinsing. The main drawback is that for a shampoo, the fragrance doesn't last at all. It seems like there's absolutely no lingering scent left on the hair after use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 26, 2024
It has excellent cleansing effectiveness and lathers up well. If you have an oily scalp, this product would be really great for you. In winter, it can make your hair feel quite stiff, and the herbal scent is quite strong. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 15, 2024
There's not much to say here. The packaging is pretty. Shampoo nomad here. I have dry, sensitive, and thinning hair with a sensitive scalp. No matter what shampoo I use, my scalp always reacts. After using this for over a month, it was okay at first, but the more I used it, the worse the dryness and tightness became. Moreover, the blemishes on my scalp didn't decrease, and the redness and scalp heat persisted. Hair loss has been gradually increasing too. Those with dry and sensitive scalps should take note. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinAug 14, 2024
My scalp tends to be sensitive, prone to dead skin cells and redness, so I bought this shampoo hoping the tea tree ingredient would help soothe it. The first thing I love is that it lathers much more richly than usual, even with my regular amount. It has a subtle tea tree scent and a nice cooling effect, making it perfect for summer use. It seems to have reduced my scalp blemishes a bit too. True to its 'Deep Clean' name, it has great cleansing effectiveness. When I have dead skin cells build-up, using this shampoo leaves my scalp feeling refreshed. The downside is that it leaves my hair feeling stiff after washing, so I definitely need to use a conditioner. Also, while it cleanses well and gives a cool sensation, my scalp felt a bit dry after shampooing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 22, 2024
The lather is rich and abundant. It gives a squeaky clean feeling. Plus, you get a generous amount of product. I'm not sure if it's good for hair care. My hair gets terribly tangled after use. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2024
As someone with a dry scalp, I find the ingredients and texture absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended! After use, my hair feels a bit stiff. Make sure to buy it when it's on sale! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 5, 2024
I bought this after seeing a YouTuber's recommendation. It seems to cleanse my hair thoroughly. I'm not sure if it lives up to the hype. They said it wouldn't make my hair stiff, but it actually does. Disappointing! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2024
The tea tree ingredient is soothing. Looking forward to a cool scalp on hot days. My hair gets greasy quickly. After shampooing, my hair feels extremely dry, yet my scalp becomes oily again in no time. This is a major drawback. Nothing to add. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2024
It feels refreshing and has a lovely scent. It lathers well and gives a sensation of thoroughly removing oil from your hair. If you don't use conditioner afterwards, your hair might feel a bit stiff. For softer hair, I'd recommend using it with a conditioner. The scent is so nice that it would pair well with the Essen Herb body wash too. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinMar 11, 2024
Quick review: I've settled on the Essenherb Tea Tree Deep Clean Shampoo because it's gentle, lathers well, and I love the scent! ☀️ Lather & Deep Cleansing: I was worried it wouldn't lather well due to its gentle ingredients, but it foams up amazingly! Probably the best lather among affordable shampoos I've tried. As a deep cleansing shampoo, its cleansing effectiveness is excellent! ☀️ Fragrance: While washing my hair, the fresh scent makes me feel like I'm in a forest - I really love it. The shampoo's scent isn't overpowering or long-lasting, so it doesn't interfere with hair treatments or essences. I actually prefer this as it doesn't clash with other hair product scents. ☀️ Ingredients: When buying shampoo, while performance is important, I believe ingredients are crucial! Shampoo directly affects the scalp, so poor ingredients can cause blemishes or block the scalp, potentially leading to hair loss. Fortunately, the Essenherb Tea Tree Deep Clean Shampoo is free from harmful ingredients and gentle enough to use with peace of mind! ☀️ Value for money: The large size makes it really cost-effective. Plus, I only bought the shampoo, but they included a travel-sized mini shampoo and several body wash samples, which was a lovely surprise! Hair feels stiff after use, so a conditioner is essential. For best results, thoroughly wet your hair, massage with the shampoo, wait for 2 minutes, then rinse well. This helps eliminate scalp odor and dead skin cells.
