  Rich and luxurious texture. The formula is quite thick and firm, not soft or runny. It's a bit challenging to scoop out with fingers; a spatula works better. Once warmed up by body heat and massaged in, it applies smoothly, though the initial firmness can be surprising. With various oils and synthetic beeswax, it's definitely oily and rich. Perfect for extremely dry skin in winter. While applying too much all over the face can lead to some deep dryness and a heavy feeling, that's typical for balm-type products. It works best when layered over a good hydrating base.

  The texture is so firm it's difficult to scoop out. It would be great if they included a built-in spatula storage in the lid.
