Wow, the Hwahae eyeliner. I've never even used a black eyeliner in my life, being a summer mute whose eye makeup doesn't suit me, but this is the only one I can use. What's with the oily lids, the double eyelid, and eyeliner, you know? But when the eyeliner is too pigmented, it looks really weird, so I tried a lighter one, and wow, the longevity is insane. I've never seen oilier skin than mine, but this is the only eyeliner that truly survives on my eyes. It's really the best. If the bold eyeliner doesn't suit you, just buy it. Although you can draw eyeliner using an eyebrow pencil, when you want a more defined look, you would use it. - dl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMay 7, 2025
The bottom one is Ash Taupe. It gives a subtle, natural look. I bought it to add some shadow underneath, but it's so sheer that when I try to build it up, it starts looking odd! I think Ash Brown might be better. This shade has a yellowish tint, and it's barely noticeable on the skin. - vh********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 21, 2025
Natural and delicate eyeliner (+ amazing value for money) Value for money: The biggest advantage of this product is undoubtedly its affordability. I purchased it as part of a set at Olive Young for just over 10,000 won. It's rare to find such good value in lighter shades, but this product is exceptionally cheap, making it a top choice for budget-conscious shoppers. Delicate and natural-looking eyeliner: As someone who loves a soft, subtle makeup look, I've tried various watered-down eyeliners. This one is my favorite by far. It's easy to apply, and the diluted color creates a beautifully natural effect. Surprisingly long-lasting and the pigmentation is on point! Not ideal for long-term use... Product quality issues The Lilybyred eyeliner's main flaw: The brush splays out too easily... It seems even worse than Ki*mi, which makes it difficult to use for an extended period. This is really disappointing. Especially towards the end of its life, it feels like the ink is leaking excessively, so I'm unsure about repurchasing. I think shade 2 is better formulated than shade 3. - tj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 16, 2025
I've been using the ash brown color, but I needed something more natural, so I bought this. I really like it! There's nothing to complain about! You can draw a natural-looking eyeline with this product. - ga*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 10, 2025
As someone with thin upper eyelids and horizontally long eyes, bold eyeliner doesn't suit me. But this product is the best! It's perfect for those times when you want a subtle line. It's also incredibly easy to apply. It comes off easily, so if you make a mistake, you can simply wipe it off with your finger and reapply. How convenient! - si********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 17, 2025
Dry skin type, shade 21, student here. My deep undertone suits muted tones with lower saturation rather than red hues. Lilybyred's Ash Taupe is my holy grail! As someone who doesn't suit heavy eyeliner or intense colors, this is perfect. Application: Absorbs beautifully. Color payoff: It applies evenly without smudging, though it's lighter than expected. Staying power: I'd say it's moderate. It tends to smudge or fade as time passes. That's the only downside. - ch********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2025
An eyeliner perfect for those who don't suit heavy makeup. You can adjust the intensity of color by layering. The staying power is also decent. When trying to draw a thicker line, sometimes it feels like the color doesn't fill in as beautifully as desired. - ec****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 28, 2024
I recommend this for those who prefer subtle color and don't usually wear eyeliner The staying power is almost non-existent when applied close to the eye's mucous membrane - li*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2024
It's great for a subtle daily look or for creating dimension in your makeup The color is quite sheer, so it's not very noticeable, but it's still pretty - 85********Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedOct 31, 2024
I bought this because I don't like drawing sharp black eyeliner, and it turned out to be exactly the watered-down brown brush pen liner I wanted. It's not just a diluted brown, but it really captures that 'taupe' essence, which I love. With black liner, you often need to soften it with eyeshadow, but this one allows for a natural look while still defining the eyes beautifully. Like many brush eyeliners, after prolonged use, the bristles can get caught in the cap when closing, causing them to bend and stick out awkwardly.
