  Pros

  I'm thrilled with how beautiful the packaging is right out of the box! The fragrance that wafts out is so lovely that I've hung it in the bathroom for a fantastic air freshener effect. It lathers up incredibly well, so even with my long hair, I only need to give it a few quick scrubs. Curious to compare, I tried using just the bar without conditioner, and it's noticeably less drying than regular shampoo alone.

  Cons

  I feel like the root volume doesn't last as long as it does with shampoo. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't linger in my hair.

  Tip

  It works great for quickly refreshing just my bangs when I'm too lazy to wash my whole head!

  Pros

  1. Overwhelming fragrance! The scent is amazing! (It doesn't linger on your hair after shampooing, but it's perfect as an air freshener in the bathroom and for aromatherapy while you wash!) It smells similar to Johnson's Bedtime. Personally, I'm totally in love with it. 2. Drying hook + Soap shape It comes with a drying hook, which is great. While I'm not sure how it'll hold up when it's almost used up, the wide strap helps prevent it from slipping out of your hands while shampooing. The convenience for drying goes without saying. 3. Gentle ingredients! My roommate with super sensitive skin raved about it. Even though their scalp reacts to the slightest bit of nourishing or functional ingredients, they said they want to use this again! They were satisfied with the gentle Andalou blue shampoo before, but they found this shampoo bar just as good with no issues at all! 4. Rich lather + Cleansing effectiveness The foam is incredibly dense, unlike regular soap. I wanted to capture it in a photo, but... it didn't turn out great, did it? Haha! But I can assure you, it really produces a rich, dense lather easily! I felt the cleansing power was sufficient, and as someone with a normal scalp, I was impressed that it cleaned thoroughly without causing any dryness-related issues like itchiness. 4_1. (Texture) Relatively moisturizing feel As mentioned above, I was very satisfied with how it felt. That's not to say it leaves your hair super soft after rinsing. The hair itself feels a bit squeaky clean, but surprisingly, it's definitely not as dry as you might expect from a soap! I dried my hair without conditioner, and it was softer than when I use regular shampoo alone... Does this bar have some conditioning ingredients in it?

  Cons

  This might be an unfounded worry, but I'm a bit concerned about how long the ring-shaped soap will hold up and maintain its function. Also, it's slightly disappointing that the lovely scent doesn't linger in your hair after shampooing. And while it claims to last several times longer than liquid shampoo, I'm not sure if that will actually be the case.

  Tip

  The lather becomes even richer if you do a pre-wash, but it's satisfyingly foamy even without one!

  With the recent extreme temperature changes and dusty days, my scalp was itchy. After using this for a few days, the itchiness decreased noticeably. Unlike regular shampoo bars that are flat and difficult to lather evenly, this one has a curved shape that fits the scalp perfectly, making it easy to work up a rich lather. While typical shampoo bars tend to get mushy if not dried properly, I love that this one can be hung up to dry.

  Cons

  If I had to pick something? It doesn't lather quite as much as regular liquid shampoo. But honestly, I don't find any significant drawbacks.

  Tip

  I've found it works even better if you work up a good lather, wait 1-2 minutes before rinsing. This seems to allow the beneficial ingredients more time to work their magic on the scalp.

  First off, when I opened the box, the scent that wafted out was absolutely delightful. The design is so cute! It's attached to a string, so you can hang it up to dry. The shape seems just right - perfect for holding and lathering in your hands. I was worried my hair might feel stiff since it's a soap, but surprisingly, my hair felt incredibly soft!

  Cons

  ✓ Lather I was worried that using a shampoo bar for the first time might be inconvenient or take longer to cleanse compared to liquid shampoo, but it actually lathers up so well that there's no inconvenience at all. ✓ Fragrance As soon as I opened the package, the scent hit me and it was absolutely delightful!   I quite liked the scent - it's similar to cucumber or houttuynia cordata soap, which I don't mind. I didn't expect the fragrance to last long anyway, so no disappointment there. I absolutely love the design with the ring attached. It's easy to hang up, which means it dries quickly and doesn't get soggy since it's not sitting on a surface. While some people mentioned issues with drying, it's not a problem in my bathroom as it's not too humid. Being solid, it feels like I'm giving my scalp a nice massage when I use it.
