The scent is similar to soap and baby powder, but not overpowering. The hanging loop is great - I can hang it up, so it doesn't stick to surfaces or melt away. I was worried my hair might become too dry, but it has just enough richness to prevent that soap-like dryness.
ConsIt's both a pro and a con that the fragrance doesn't linger long. Since I usually use conditioner after shampooing anyway, it's not a major drawback for me. However, it might be a bit lacking if you're planning to use the shampoo bar alone.
TipI'd recommend using it with a conditioner or hair essence. Also, instead of rubbing the bar directly on your hair, work up a lather in your hands first. This reduces friction and minimizes damage to your hair.

Being gentle on the scalp, I could use it worry-free despite my hair loss concerns. It has a similar feel to Lush products, but the scent is captivating! I love the subtle soap fragrance, and it even acts as a bathroom diffuser. It's safe for children to use too. The convenient storage makes me want to keep using it consistently.
ConsIt seems to lack in making hair silky smooth. While I'm satisfied with the clean ingredients and eco-friendliness, I think it's best to use an additional conditioner.
TipAt an age where every strand of hair is precious, I use an extra conditioner or essence to ensure my hair stays soft.

It lathers up well when you rub it on your hair. Texture: The shape provides a nice grip, which I like. It even comes with a cord so you can hang it up. However, if your bathroom is humid, it might soften, so it's best to store it in a dry place after use. Scent: When I first received it, I found the fragrance quite strong. It has a cool, powdery soap scent. The scent is so potent that it lingers even after showering. If you're a fan of strong shampoo bar fragrances, you'll probably love this.
ConsBeing sensitive to scents, I find the strong soap fragrance a bit overwhelming. It's not really to my taste. As expected from a shampoo bar, it leaves my hair feeling a bit stiffer compared to regular shampoo. Since I have long hair, it caused some tangling, so I needed to use a good amount of conditioner.

It's more powdery than expected? When I hung it in the bathroom, it was almost like an air freshener, but after washing my hair, the scent doesn't linger much on the hair. The biggest advantage seems to be the reduced waste. It lathers quite well, but doesn't stay long in places like the drain. It was sufficient for washing my hair. It feels like you can wash your hair faster than with shampoo. It's like scrub-scrub-rinse and done! When you massage your scalp with the concave part of the shampoo bar, it feels somewhat refreshing.
ConsInevitably, it makes the hair feel stiffer compared to regular shampoo. After rinsing, it feels like your hair might make a squeaky clean sound. While with liquid shampoo you can easily control the amount with one or two pumps, with this you have to figure out how to lather it properly yourself. At first, I ended up making too much or too little lather. You'll probably get used to it over time, but it was a bit annoying at first. You'll often be rubbing the shampoo bar directly on your scalp, and if hair gets stuck to the product, it can look unhygienic. It's also a bit of a hassle to remove each strand... + When I was almost done with it, there was a sort of sour smell?
TipOverall, I was satisfied with it. People with oily scalp and hair Those with short hair (bob/pixie cut) Those who want to wash their hair quickly and easily These types of people might enjoy using this product. People with dry scalp and hair Those with long hair or damaged hair from bleaching or perms These individuals might find it inconvenient to use.

Cons- Almost no lingering scent after drying hair. - Feels too soft after contact with water. - Occasional itching after use, possibly due to certain ingredients. - Lacks a cooling effect (personally prefer shampoos with a cooling sensation). - Not great for hair texture when rubbed directly on hair.
Tip- It might be better to lather in hands before applying, rather than rubbing directly on hair. - While there's a strap, the soap's nature means the strap area may thin out, so it might need separate storage if it falls off. - Right after washing, it felt like an acidic cleanse, but when drying, hair became squeaky clean.

It's not overpowering or harsh, but rather refreshingly pleasant, just enough to lift your mood. There's a subtle powdery fragrance that lingers after your shower, leaving you feeling great. Don't worry though, it doesn't stick around on your skin for too long after you're done. The best part for me was that my skin didn't feel itchy after showering. I've really struggled with itchiness from shower gels in the past. I'm not sure if it's because this soap is moisturizing or if it's formulated with non-irritating ingredients, but it's truly less itchy and feels wonderful.
ConsHowever, there's a slight downside. When I checked the ingredients on Hwahae, I noticed some components that aren't ideal. That was a bit disappointing. It made me wonder if this is a product I can use with complete confidence. Also, judging by the amount of lather and cleansing intensity, I don't think it's strong enough to use as a shampoo. The foam isn't very rich and dissipates quickly, so for shampooing... well, it's questionable. I'd recommend this to people with sensitive skin who enjoy fresh scents and are looking for a product that doesn't create additional waste.

It's a mix of soap scent with a hint of freshness! There's also a slight powdery note to it. I've been using it in the bathroom, and it gently perfumes the space, acting like a natural diffuser - absolutely wonderful! 📍Lather: After thoroughly wetting my hair and rubbing the shampoo bar directly on it, it produces an abundant lather which is great! 📍Effectiveness: I tend to have oily hair that gets greasy quickly. After using this shampoo bar, I noticed significantly less oil build-up, and my hair stays fresh for longer - I'm thrilled with the results! 📍Shape: The bar has an ergonomic shape that's easy to hold. The cord attached to it is handy for storage and when washing your hair.
Cons📍Storage might be a bit tricky, but hanging it up works well. 📍While it's great for controlling oil, some might find their hair feels a bit stiff after washing. If you're looking for a shampoo that leaves your hair feeling super soft, this might not be the best choice.
Tip📍For those who find their hair too stiff after use, I'd recommend following up with a conditioner, hair mask, or treatment. This combination should give you the best of both worlds - clean and manageable hair!

Scent While it doesn't have an aloe-like fragrance, I love the subtle cucumber scent with powdery notes. If you prefer sweet or citrus scents, you might not be a fan, but those who enjoy woody fragrances will likely appreciate it. 2. Lather It produces a richer lather than regular soap, and the foam is creamier than typical shampoo! 3. Space-saving The shampoo bar is about the size of a soap bar, and it comes with a strap for hanging, so it takes up less space than bottled shampoo. 4. Aromatherapy effect Unlike liquid shampoo in a bottle, when you hang the shampoo bar in your bathroom, it releases a delightful fragrance that spreads further than regular soap, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
Cons1. Hair care This shampoo bar feels more like soap than shampoo. My hair isn't particularly oily, but when I use this shampoo bar, it tends to tangle and feel rough. 2. Drying time It takes longer for hair to dry! Those with long hair should be prepared to invest more time in their hair care routine. 3. Usage Unlike liquid shampoo where you can easily dispense a large amount, the shampoo bar only allows you to use a small amount at a time, which can be inconvenient.
TipYou can create more lather by placing the shampoo bar in a mesh bag when using it.

While it doesn't smell exactly like cucumbers, it has a fresh, clean soap scent. The fragrance might not be polarizing, but the shampoo bar itself has a strong scent. The lingering scent in your hair seems to be mild. Package: I appreciate the simple packaging that appears to be environmentally conscious. Texture: It has a typical soft soap texture. It lathers well with just a bit of water and rubbing. It glides smoothly on your hair without feeling stiff. Convenience: It feels just as convenient as traditional pump shampoos. The attached string allows you to easily hang it on a towel rack. Cost-effectiveness: They claim one shampoo bar can replace two 250ml bottles of liquid shampoo, which seems like good value. It also saves you the hassle of buying bulky shampoo bottles and disposing of the waste. Cleansing power: As someone with an oily scalp who prefers strong cleansing shampoos, I find the dense lather effectively cleanses both scalp and hair. Gentle formula: While I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I experienced no irritation. There's no intense cooling sensation like with menthol shampoos. With aloe as an ingredient, it seems suitable even for those with sensitive skin.
ConsStorage: While the shelf life is one year, it's not sealed packaging, so there might be a risk of contamination if stored for a long time. After-feel: Your hair feels squeaky clean right after rinsing, which might be a bit harsh for those with dry hair.
TipThanks to Hwahae, I've now tried both a shampoo bar and a conditioner bar. Using them together, my hair actually feels softer. The satisfaction of helping the environment is an added bonus. If you're environmentally conscious, it's definitely worth giving it a try.
