ConsNone. There's a slight medicinal scent when first applied, but it disappears within a minute
TipApply generously before bed

ConsI had high hopes for this lip balm since it was highly recommended on Japanese shopping lists, but I'm disappointed with everything from the scent to the texture and application. The smell is like a medicated patch, despite claims of menthol. It feels like applying solidified liquid pain relief patches! The texture isn't a soft butter-like consistency, but rather a solidified transparent gel - if you're familiar with Bl*st*x clear lip balm, it's exactly that type. It's an unusual texture for lip balms, and one I personally dislike. The application is terrible. It's stiff, lacking any hydration, moisture, or softness, and doesn't last long on the lips.
TipSigh... Is this a solidified pain relief patch?

Personally, I really dislike lip balms that feel like light oils and don't adhere well, disappearing quickly. This lip balm, however, feels like it really sticks to your lips, which I love! The texture is on the firmer side, so it doesn't smear but applies in a thin layer on your lips. It has a cooling effect. When you apply it outside in winter or in the wind, your lips feel incredibly refreshing! I enjoy the cooling effect, so I'm quite pleased with it. It's affordable and easily accessible. I bought mine at Olive Young, but it's also available in supermarkets and Daiso. The regular price is around 4,000 won, which is very reasonable, but at Daiso, it's even cheaper at 3,000 won! The balm glides up and down smoothly. Sometimes with cheaper products, you might expect issues with the packaging, but this one moves forward and backward very smoothly.
ConsIt has a sharp, medicinal scent similar to muscle relief patches. Be cautious if you don't like cooling effects!
TipI always use a lip mask at night and a stick lip balm during the day. I don't use the stick lip balm for exfoliation, but rather apply it whenever my lips feel dry throughout the day!

It looks natural, without an overly glossy appearance. The cooling sensation is refreshing and leaves me feeling invigorated!
ConsThe scent reminds me of medicated patches, which might be off-putting for those who dislike that smell.
TipIf you're worried about dead skin cells showing up when applying tint, try using this before your lip tint. It prevents the flaky appearance!

The formula is firm, so it doesn't apply too thickly. It doesn't have an overwhelming shine, making it great for layering with other lip products. Highly recommended if you dislike heavy lip balms! It's perfect for those without much dead skin on their lips. For me, it provides just the right amount of hydration without causing flaking, so I'm on my second tube. It's also convenient to use with its twist-up design. Definitely recommend!
ConsThe scent is identical to that of a medicated patch. I personally like strong fragrances, so it's fine for me, but it might be polarizing. Also, it doesn't apply well if your lips are wet, so make sure to pat your lips dry before applying!
