I'm a frequent lip balm user, and I'm thoroughly satisfied with both the feel and formula of this one. I've repurchased it multiple times and am currently using it. I even stocked up on a few more! While I didn't find any particular drawbacks, it's worth noting that this is a cooling-type lip balm. Those with super sensitive skin might want to steer clear. Personally, I carry it with me everywhere and apply it generously throughout the day.

I was genuinely shocked at first by how effective it was. The hydration level was moderate, and it's a decent go-to product when you're dealing with those pesky dead skin cells. Just apply it occasionally when you notice flaking, and you're good to go! I wouldn't say it was disappointing, but it might not work for everyone. In my case, I noticed some swelling on my upper lip after application. (It might have been working a bit too hard!) If you have super sensitive skin, you might want to be cautious with this one or consider a different lip balm altogether. Usually, I apply lip balm to both my upper and lower lips, but with this one... phew! I wouldn't dare do that again (at least for me). I'd recommend just lightly applying it to your lower lip and then pressing your lips together. As you can see from the photo, I've used it up to the point where you can see the bottom, and I'm leaving a review because I love it so much... ✅Texture: It's not as sticky as other lip balms. Even if you apply multiple layers, it feels clean. Since it's not sticky, I recommend using it in summer. ✅Feel: Right after application, there's a cooling sensation due to the menthol ingredient. I personally enjoyed the refreshing feel. ✅Packaging: The outer design is sleek, making it suitable for men to carry around too. There's nothing particularly disappointing! It's definitely a Hwahae moment, and I'm feeling great about it! The price is unbelievable - about $1.50 each. You absolutely must grab these! The hydration isn't as intense as pricier options, but it's so affordable you can keep them everywhere and apply frequently. Pick these up when you're traveling. I've been using this lip balm for almost 3 months now, and I'm already on my third tube after finishing two! About three years ago, when I started using lip tints, I discovered that my lips are quite sensitive. For the first few months, everything seemed fine, but gradually my lips' condition worsened. I'd wake up with crusty discharge, sometimes even with cold sore-like bumps, and my lips would feel rough and textured. It was really uncomfortable and painful, and I even had to be careful when opening my mouth. So I began trying various lip balms, but none of them felt quite right. Vaseline was somewhat better, so I used it a lot. Then I heard somewhere that the Mentholatum lip balm was good for lips like mine, so I immediately bought it and tried it... and it's great! My lips aren't in perfect condition yet, but before, when my lips got completely dry, it was unbearably difficult. Now it's... let's say, more manageable. Anyway, thanks to Mentholatum, my lips have really improved a lot! When you first use it, it feels a bit firmer than other lip balms, but as you continue using it, it just feels so good. It's not sticky or moist, and it doesn't have that oily feeling typical of lip balms, which makes it even better. Oh, and it's a cooling lip balm with a minty scent! This might be a love-it-or-hate-it feature for some people. But if you haven't found your go-to lip balm yet or if you have lip concerns like me, I really recommend giving this a try... There are no downsides... at least not yet... What more can I say about my savior? Just keep it with you and apply it whenever your lips feel dry. Honestly, I think this is the top-tier lip balm out there. Unlike other lip balms that seem to just coat your lips with oil, this product truly shows you what deep hydration means. It used to be available only in Japan, but now it's easier to find since it's stocked in Daiso stores. Nothing really. There's a slight menthol-like tingling sensation, which might be uncomfortable for those who don't like that feeling.
