The application feels great - just one swipe and it adheres lightly to the skin without any sticky feeling when you touch it. 2. There's no white cast, and it's made with gentle ingredients, so it doesn't cause irritation. You can apply it liberally without worry. 3. The portability is excellent, allowing you to carry it around and apply it frequently to your arms and the back of your hands. The wide surface area makes it easy to apply generously. 4. However, it seems a bit inconvenient for facial application. Sometimes the product can clump when applied to the face, and it's particularly difficult and uncomfortable to apply on areas with contours.
ConsIt seems this product falls short when it comes to facial application. As a first-time sunstick user, I think it's more suitable for areas like arms rather than the face.

This time, I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and got the chance to try the From Nature Age Intense Treatment Sun Stick. Here's my honest review after using the product. 🌱 Gentle ingredients My skin tends to break out quickly when I switch cosmetics, but even when I alternated between the From Nature Age Sun Stick and my usual Sun Cream, I didn't experience any blemishes. There was no stinging sensation even when applied around the eyes. It seems to be a gentle product. 🌱 Clean, fragrance-free Being unscented, it was comfortable to apply without any polarizing scents. I appreciated that it didn't have that typical cosmetic smell. 🌱 Moisturizing hydration When I applied the sun stick during my skincare routine, it felt very hydrating. I also liked the natural glow it gave after application. 🌱 Quick absorption Sunscreens can sometimes pill if not applied correctly, but I didn't notice any such issues with this product. It seems to absorb quickly while providing hydration. 🌱 Overall, it appears to be a product that's easy to use and suitable for most people.
Cons🌱 If I had to point out an area for improvement, I felt the product was a bit too soft compared to other sun sticks. When I first applied it to my face, I couldn't control the pressure well, and some product pieces crumbled off. The round stick shape made it slightly inconvenient to apply on contoured areas of the face, especially around the nose. If these aspects could be improved, I think it would become an even better product.

After application, there's no irritation, and even after sun exposure, there are no reddish blemishes or whitening effect, so no white cast. While it might not apply as meticulously with hands on areas with contours compared to other methods, I'm satisfied since it's more important to cover large areas that receive a lot of UV exposure. The stick format makes it very portable, and it's a great advantage that you can apply it directly to your skin without getting your hands messy or needing to wipe them clean. Personally, I find this aspect very convenient.
ConsAfter applying the product, there's a slight oiliness. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin, and for those who prefer a finish that isn't matte.

ConsDoesn't pair well with my usual base makeup products May not blend perfectly depending on the cushion foundation used
TipMake sure to thoroughly apply your skincare routine before use After using this sun stick, it should blend well with other cushion foundations

No white cast and fragrance-free! 3. Easy to carry without getting on hands 4. Moisturizing 5. Doesn't cause makeup to pill or separate
Cons1. The concave contact surface is good for applying on cheekbones, but difficult for other areas 2. Lacks coverage or brightening effects 3. Hard to ensure even application (challenging to apply on nose area)
TipIf you're looking for a transparent sunscreen that doesn't get on your hands, give this a try!

It's not too soft, so it won't crumble easily even when applying a bit of pressure. Scent: The product itself has a subtle, refreshing lemon-like scent. However, it's unscented when applied and afterwards. Application: It melts at body temperature, making it easy to apply. You don't need to rub it in multiple times, which means less irritation. Size: At first, I thought it was quite small, but as I used it, I realized it's actually a positive feature for a portable sunstick. It's light and perfect for touch-ups on the go. White cast: Absolutely none. While it's not meant for a bare-faced look, it doesn't affect your base makeup apart from adding a glow. Irritation: This was my first time using a product with galactomyces, and fortunately, I didn't experience any adverse reactions. I didn't notice any redness or burning sensation. Since it's a stick, you can control the physical application to use it gently and effectively. Makeup compatibility: After my skincare routine up to the serum step, I finished with this sunstick instead of cream and then applied my base makeup. It worked well with both foundation and cushion, not compromising adherence, and there was no flaking or dryness after makeup application.
ConsOiliness: From the moment you apply it, there's a noticeable glow and oily feel. Being a sunstick, it's hard to gauge how much you've applied, which might lead to over-application. This is something those with oily skin should be cautious about. If you fail to control the amount, you might experience some blemishes here and there. Design: The cylindrical shape is a bit wide, making it difficult to apply thoroughly in curved areas like the sides of the nose bridge connecting to the eye area or the nostrils. This was probably the most inconvenient aspect for me. One of the main advantages of a stick is that it doesn't get on your hands, but due to this issue, I found myself having to use my hands to spread it evenly. * Update (08/21/23) On hot days, when the product melts, it really, really... stings my eyes....... I couldn't bear it and ended up using it on my body instead. When applied to the body, it goes on quite generously.
TipAbove all, controlling the amount is key! Whether you're just using it for sun protection or applying makeup afterwards, I found it most satisfying when I carefully controlled the amount. It's best to be cautious not to apply too much.

As someone with super sensitive skin, blemishes were my main concern, but surprisingly, I didn't experience any. Perhaps it's because it doesn't leave an excessively rich residue. This gentle sunstick really won me over. The application is smooth and even, without any stiffness, so there's no need to reapply with your hands. It's practically fragrance-free, absorbs well without being overly greasy, and my makeup layered perfectly on top without any pilling. I'll definitely be purchasing this with my own money once I run out!
ConsThere were no downsides! Absolutely no drawbacks to mention.
TipIt's also easy to apply on the neck.

With the weather getting warmer lately, sunscreen is a must when you're out for long periods. Unlike regular sunscreens that can be messy to apply and require a mirror, this sunstick was so convenient to use anytime, anywhere. There was hardly any scent or irritation, making it perfect for daily, lightweight use. While the solid stick form initially made application a bit tricky compared to cream sunscreens, I quickly got used to letting it warm up with my skin's heat, so it wasn't a major issue in the end!
ConsThe wide surface area of the stick made it a bit challenging to apply in narrow, contoured areas like around the nose. As a result, I mainly used it on broader areas like the forehead and cheeks where it was easy to swipe on quickly.
TipGiven the nature of stick sunscreens, while it's harder to apply thoroughly, it's incredibly convenient to use. I found myself using it primarily for quick touch-ups when I was out, rather than as part of my pre-makeup routine before leaving home!

Application: The round shape allows for even application. Stick format makes it convenient to use. Simply massage it in and let it absorb. Leaves a non-sticky finish, which is great. Other: As someone with super sensitive skin, I appreciated that this gentle product didn't cause any blemishes.
ConsThere weren't really any downsides. If I had to pick something, maybe the product size is a bit small?

My skin type is dry, acne-prone, with large pores, and very sensitive due to atopic dermatitis. When I win cosmetics from Hwahae, I always test them on bare skin on the first day. On day one, I applied the stick evenly on my bare skin. After 1-2 minutes, there was no irritation, redness, or tingling sensation. On the second day, I applied it after cleansing and moisturizing before exercise. There was a bit of pilling, possibly because the emulsion hadn't fully absorbed. For better application, wait until your moisturizer is fully absorbed. On the third day, I tested its sun protection while exercising outdoors for about 10 minutes without a hat. Despite my tendency for redness, my face didn't become as flushed as with other creams, and I felt less heat on my skin. Those who dislike product residue on their hands will be very satisfied with this.
ConsThere aren't any major downsides, but the cap can be slippery to open with damp hands after cleansing.
TipInstead of pressing hard while applying, it's better to lightly go over the skin a couple of times for a more even application.
