While it was a bit tricky to apply around the nose, the overall absorbs well was good and I was satisfied with how it felt on my skin. I was also pleased that there was no white cast. After using this product, I didn't experience any blemishes.
ConsAlthough the application was decent, there was some shininess after applying, so those with oily skin might want to avoid this. The center of the sunstick is slightly concave, and I found myself unconsciously applying a bit more pressure. Since the formula is on the softer side, small pieces tend to break off from the outer edges.
TipThe wide surface area makes it great for use on the body.

The format is great - it's so convenient to carry around and easy to use. I'm not a fan of sticky products, and this one isn't sticky at all. In fact, it absorbs quickly. The experience of using it is lovely - there's a cooling effect, and it feels moisturizing. It even gives my skin a nice glow. The texture is as smooth as an essence. The wide surface area makes application easy, though this could be a matter of personal preference. Some might find it harder to apply precisely because of the width. Scent-wise, it's fragrance-free, so that shouldn't be an issue for anyone. For the amount of product, please refer to the last attached photo. I've twisted it up all the way to show you.
ConsThe center is slightly concave, so when you first use it, you need to apply around the edges before you can use the middle part. Because of the wide surface area, it can be a bit challenging to apply it meticulously. When reapplying over makeup, it might look a bit oily, and if you're not careful with the amount, it could cause pilling.
TipI think it's better to use the sun stick alone on the face rather than over makeup. There's always a risk of disturbing your makeup. Usually, when I'm wearing makeup, I carry it with me and keep reapplying it on my neck throughout the day. It's really great for use on the neck.

It helps the makeup adhere better and gives a nice glow. I was worried the stick format might not apply evenly, but it spread surprisingly well. Despite my dry and sensitive skin, I used it without any blemishes. My boyfriend, who drives a lot, also tried it. He liked that it's easy to use and doesn't leave a white cast. I'm planning to repurchase after I finish this one.
ConsFor those with oily skin, it might feel a bit greasy. As I have dry skin, I didn't experience any downsides.
TipIf you have dry skin, try applying this stick before makeup. Gently pat it in to absorb, then apply your makeup. You'll notice a lovely glow and your makeup will adhere beautifully.

After application, there's no irritation, and even after sun exposure, there are no reddish blemishes or whitening effect, so no white cast. While it might not apply as meticulously with hands on areas with contours compared to other methods, I'm satisfied since it's more important to cover large areas that receive a lot of UV exposure. The stick format makes it very portable, and it's a great advantage that you can apply it directly to your skin without getting your hands messy or needing to wipe them clean. Personally, I find this aspect very convenient.
ConsAfter applying the product, there's a slight oiliness. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin, and for those who prefer a finish that isn't matte.

It's not too soft, so it won't crumble easily even when applying a bit of pressure. Scent: The product itself has a subtle, refreshing lemon-like scent. However, it's unscented when applied and afterwards. Application: It melts at body temperature, making it easy to apply. You don't need to rub it in multiple times, which means less irritation. Size: At first, I thought it was quite small, but as I used it, I realized it's actually a positive feature for a portable sunstick. It's light and perfect for touch-ups on the go. White cast: Absolutely none. While it's not meant for a bare-faced look, it doesn't affect your base makeup apart from adding a glow. Irritation: This was my first time using a product with galactomyces, and fortunately, I didn't experience any adverse reactions. I didn't notice any redness or burning sensation. Since it's a stick, you can control the physical application to use it gently and effectively. Makeup compatibility: After my skincare routine up to the serum step, I finished with this sunstick instead of cream and then applied my base makeup. It worked well with both foundation and cushion, not compromising adherence, and there was no flaking or dryness after makeup application.
ConsOiliness: From the moment you apply it, there's a noticeable glow and oily feel. Being a sunstick, it's hard to gauge how much you've applied, which might lead to over-application. This is something those with oily skin should be cautious about. If you fail to control the amount, you might experience some blemishes here and there. Design: The cylindrical shape is a bit wide, making it difficult to apply thoroughly in curved areas like the sides of the nose bridge connecting to the eye area or the nostrils. This was probably the most inconvenient aspect for me. One of the main advantages of a stick is that it doesn't get on your hands, but due to this issue, I found myself having to use my hands to spread it evenly. * Update (08/21/23) On hot days, when the product melts, it really, really... stings my eyes....... I couldn't bear it and ended up using it on my body instead. When applied to the body, it goes on quite generously.
TipAbove all, controlling the amount is key! Whether you're just using it for sun protection or applying makeup afterwards, I found it most satisfying when I carefully controlled the amount. It's best to be cautious not to apply too much.

It's so convenient to apply since it doesn't get on your hands. I kept it in my car and reapplied whenever the sun was strong. After using it consistently for two weeks, I didn't experience any blemishes or skin issues, which is great for my super sensitive skin. It doesn't feel sticky or greasy on the body, so it was nice to use on my arms too. The 21g size is surprisingly generous!
ConsFor my oily skin, it felt a bit shiny and greasy. I think a flat shape would be more portable than the round cylindrical design.
TipIf you have oily skin, it's essential to follow up with powder after applying this sunstick!

Not recommended
ConsExtremely greasy. Felt oily from the moment I applied it to my face. After using it and wearing a mask for a few hours, my face turned into an oil party... Literally, oil was dripping down my face. I've never experienced such excessive oil production before. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've always used water-based or sebum-control sunscreens, and I think I'll need to stick to those. I stopped using this product after my face became so oily. Not recommended for oily or combination dehydrated skin types.

I especially dislike applying sunscreen with my hands, so I prefer stick formulas. Among those, I found that organic sunscreens often made the area around my eyes tingle, so I started favoring mineral ones. However, I was concerned about the white cast and texture of mineral sunscreens. That's when I tried this product, and wow, the texture is incredibly velvety... truly! After application, it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating at all, which is great! I also love that it's fragrance-free. The small size makes it perfect for daily use - I can apply it anywhere, anytime! There's no white cast, and it's quite moisturizing. The texture feels like a solid balm? The color is a light yellow. The stick format is great because you don't need to use your hands, and this product has a wide application surface, allowing for quick and easy coverage of desired areas. I noticed that during sales, it's less than $15, which makes it quite reasonable price-wise!
ConsWhile I like the velvety feel due to its slightly oily texture, there is a bit of an oily sensation that comes through after wearing foundation for a while.
TipI usually avoid using sunscreen before makeup because it feels heavy, but I tried this one and loved it! It worked well under foundation and didn't feel suffocating at all!

First off, I love how convenient it is to use because it's in stick form. Another big plus is that it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients! - Scent It's almost unscented, but there's a slight hint of a fresh fragrance. - Texture It's an opaque, lemon-colored solid stick! - Application The sun stick feels like it doesn't have much moisture? It applies a bit stiffly. - Feel on skin When applied to bare skin without makeup, it felt perfectly powdery and nice. (With makeup on... see the cons section)
ConsThe round shape made it difficult to apply in areas like the sides of the nose. When I wore a mask after applying this, it felt quite sticky. It might be too oily for combination to oily skin types. After applying skincare, the sun stick, and then makeup, my face became oily after a while, causing my makeup to clump together.
TipUse this as a sunscreen alternative on bare skin when you're not wearing makeup!

It creates a nice base for the brightening moisturizer. - The stick format is convenient as I can apply it anywhere without getting my hands messy.
Cons- I thought the stick format would make it firm, but it applies quite thickly, perhaps due to body heat, so it seems to get used up quickly. - It becomes a bit oily after some time. - It's slightly inconvenient to use at first. The center is hollowed out, so you need to rub it several times, and it doesn't apply evenly.
TipI keep it in my bag and reapply it frequently throughout the day.
