One of the main reasons people avoid sunscreen products is the greasy feeling and makeup pilling/caking, but this sunstick doesn't have any of those issues! Some reviews mentioned difficulty applying it to every nook and cranny, which is a common drawback of stick-type products. However, this one has a moisturizing quality, so I was able to spread it over a wider area as it absorbed.
ConsUnlike other sunstick products that have a slightly rounded middle like deodorants, allowing for smooth application from the first use, this product comes out flat. During the first couple of uses, the edges would crumble off in chunks, forcing me to spread it with my fingers, which was inconvenient. As you can see in the photo taken after the second use, there are some indentations where chunks fell off. Although I could still spread the product well with my hands, it somewhat diminished the convenience of using a sunstick. While the absorption and moisturizing qualities are good, the stick's form was a bit disappointing in terms of ease of use.
TipIf you can find your own way to 'tame' the sunstick, you'll be able to enjoy a convenient and hydrating sun protection product!

The best part about the stick format is that it doesn't get all over your hands - so convenient! I also loved that it's fragrance-free, which works great when layering with other scented products. Typically, sunscreen sticks don't leave residue on paper, but they often feel greasy, which I dislike. However, this one applies thinly and doesn't feel oily at all. I could even apply cushion foundation over it without any pilling or clumping!
ConsThe downside is that the large circular shape of the stick makes it a bit tricky to apply on areas like the bridge of the nose (Ah! You can apply it, but it's a shame the stick gets a bit squished...)
TipI recommend using this for larger areas of the skin.

This time, I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and got the chance to try the From Nature Age Intense Treatment Sun Stick. Here's my honest review after using the product. 🌱 Gentle ingredients My skin tends to break out quickly when I switch cosmetics, but even when I alternated between the From Nature Age Sun Stick and my usual Sun Cream, I didn't experience any blemishes. There was no stinging sensation even when applied around the eyes. It seems to be a gentle product. 🌱 Clean, fragrance-free Being unscented, it was comfortable to apply without any polarizing scents. I appreciated that it didn't have that typical cosmetic smell. 🌱 Moisturizing hydration When I applied the sun stick during my skincare routine, it felt very hydrating. I also liked the natural glow it gave after application. 🌱 Quick absorption Sunscreens can sometimes pill if not applied correctly, but I didn't notice any such issues with this product. It seems to absorb quickly while providing hydration. 🌱 Overall, it appears to be a product that's easy to use and suitable for most people.
Cons🌱 If I had to point out an area for improvement, I felt the product was a bit too soft compared to other sun sticks. When I first applied it to my face, I couldn't control the pressure well, and some product pieces crumbled off. The round stick shape made it slightly inconvenient to apply on contoured areas of the face, especially around the nose. If these aspects could be improved, I think it would become an even better product.

I've been dealing with an unusual folliculitis for years and have been taking medication from a university hospital. While it's much improved now, I'm still on maintenance medication, and my skin condition fluctuates depending on my overall health. Generally, my T-zone is oily, while my cheeks and chin are closer to dry. I've never had allergic reactions to cosmetic ingredients, but I do have issues with pores and texture. My skin isn't particularly sensitive despite being delicate, so I don't have to be too picky about products. The biggest advantage I found with this product is that it 'doesn't cause itching'. Due to my skin condition, I've tried various 'gentle' sunscreens and sun protection products, worried that harmful ingredients might negatively affect my skin. Even though this product doesn't contain any problematic ingredients according to Hwahae, and doesn't have any components that typically react badly with my skin, I've experienced quite a few products that cause itching upon application. So, I initially thought I'd just use this product enough to write a review for The Hwahae Testers and discard it if it caused itching. But surprisingly, it didn't itch at all. For a sun protection product to not cause itching is a huge plus, which is why I'm mentioning it first. I ended up applying it every morning until the day I wrote this review for The Hwahae Testers, and occasionally even at lunchtime when I remembered. Perhaps because it didn't itch, I didn't experience any blemishes during the period I used it! The next advantage I noticed was the 'hydration'. I used it in the order of toner-serum-moisturizer-sun stick. On busy days, I sometimes skipped the moisturizer and applied the sun stick while heading out. Even without the moisturizer, my face didn't feel dry or cracked at all! Usually, after lunch and brushing my teeth, my cheeks and chin get dry, so I always apply cream. But since it was fine on mornings when I skipped moisturizer, I tried skipping cream at lunchtime too, and it was fine without any dryness! The last advantage I noticed was that it 'doesn't feel heavy'. Sun protection products can feel heavy for various reasons. In my case, even if a product applies well, if the scent is too strong, it feels suffocating and makes me want to wash it off immediately. Also, I find it uncomfortable to apply products over the dust that accumulates on my face throughout the day without cleansing. Due to my skin condition, I don't wear makeup, but even on the rare occasions I do, I don't touch up. However, this product is fragrance-free, so it doesn't make a strong 'I'm sunscreen' statement, and I didn't feel any heaviness while applying it. Its light texture also meant it wasn't uncomfortable to apply even in the middle of the day, not just in the morning.
ConsWhile it was an advantage, it could also be seen as a drawback - the high moisture content meant it didn't leave a powdery finish after application. The texture might be perceived differently by others, but I found it somewhat disappointing. When applying around the nose or between the eyebrows, I wanted to use the edges, but the sun stick would smudge. When I first received and used the product, it seemed firm, but it softened and small pieces would break off. Despite the drawbacks of not having a powdery finish and the texture issues, products that suit me well are rare, so I was planning to purchase it with my own money after finishing this one. However, during a recent regular check-up, my doctor recommended using sunscreen creams instead of sun sprays or sticks. Regrettably, I plan to discontinue use after the review writing date.
TipSince I have combination skin and prefer a powdery finish, I applied the sun stick all over my face, then reapplied on areas that protrude like the forehead, nose bridge, and cheekbones. After that, I wiped it with oil blotting paper. This seemed to make the sun protection last longer and left my face more powdery than when I usually use oil blotting paper. For those with skin conditions, it's best to consult with your dermatologist before using this product.

Usually, no matter how 'non-sticky' sunscreens claim to be, I always end up feeling some stickiness. But this product truly isn't sticky at all! It leaves a powdery finish, and it's the first sun protection product I've used that doesn't require powder application afterwards. No white cast There's absolutely no white cast. It feels like applying a nourishing stick. That's why it's perfect for neck and body use. Scent It's essentially unscented. I'm not a fan of typical sunscreen smells, but I can hardly detect any artificial fragrance in this one. Convenience Being a stick type, it's incredibly quick and easy to apply with just a few swipes! The size is compact, fitting into any bag. It's so convenient that I apply it every time after working out and showering before heading home.
ConsAdherence Given that it's a sun stick with a powdery finish, I'm not sure how well it adheres to the skin. Clumping You need to be careful with the pressure applied. When I pressed a bit too hard while applying, some residue seemed to clump and come off.

With the intense UV rays these days, sun protection is absolutely essential. It's crucial to remember that it's not just about protecting your face - your neck needs attention too! You don't want to end up with a well-maintained face but a neglected neck, so always extend that sun protection to your neck area. So, I decided to use this sunstick on my neck for a few days. I found it a bit tricky to use on my face since I needed to apply sunscreen and makeup there, and the stick format doesn't allow for as much control in application. The stick format makes it super convenient to quickly swipe on your neck, allowing you to easily protect both your face and neck from harmful UV rays. Initially, the balm-like texture felt a bit clumpy when applying, but as I continued to use it, the tip rounded off, making application smoother and more comfortable. I applied it generously on my neck, and while it felt slightly sticky at first, it soon became so unnoticeable that I could barely tell if I had applied it or not. It had excellent adherence to the skin and I felt confident in its UV protection. The scent is pleasant, and since the stick is compact, it's easy to carry around for frequent reapplication. Overall, I found it to be a really great product!
ConsDue to its balm-like texture, it initially applies a bit thick and feels like it's clumping up. However, this is only an issue at the beginning - after that, it applies smoothly and works well.

It's also fragrance-free, so there's no off-putting scent. The portability is fantastic, making it perfect for on-the-go use and frequent reapplication during outdoor activities, even on the body.
ConsThe circular shape of the sunstick makes it challenging to apply on curved areas like the nose and around the eyes. The formula isn't as firm as I expected, so pressing too hard while applying might cause it to crumble.
TipIt's great for carrying around, and being fragrance-free, there's no discomfort. It's perfect for frequent reapplication and works well for both face and body use.

The scent is very subtle, almost unscented. When applied, it doesn't feel greasy, but rather soft and gentle. Overall, it's quite nice! I haven't experienced any blemishes from using it either!
ConsSo far, I've been using it without any issues! However, I noticed it's not easy to apply on areas with contours. When I tried to apply it thoroughly on these areas, I pressed a bit too hard and the edges of the product got smudged... I'll need to be more careful when applying it!

It melts smoothly onto the skin when applied to the face, absorbing well. I loved that there was no white cast, and it even gives a slight glow to the complexion. The wide application surface makes it easy to swipe on quickly. It's a great sunscreen stick for both face and body use.
ConsWhile it claims to have a non-sticky finish, I found it to be a bit sticky, which was disappointing. Also, if you apply too much pressure, the soft formula can get squished due to its delicate texture. As time passes, oil tends to surface, making the skin look shiny.
TipFor areas that are hard to reach with the stick's shape, use your hands to roll and apply the product.

It would work well for applying on the neck, or for creating a dewy, hydrated look on areas like the cheeks or forehead.
ConsAs someone with super sensitive skin, I experienced a couple of blemishes, possibly due to its rich texture. Also, the stick has a wide circular shape, which made it difficult to apply on contoured areas like the sides of the nose, chin, or around the eyes. When trying to use the edge, the soft texture tends to smudge. Apart from these issues, I think it's a decent sunstick.
TipThere wasn't any noticeable pilling, so those with very dry skin might find it creates a beautiful, hydrated base when applied before makeup. Thanks to how well it absorbs, if it doesn't suit your face, it's perfect for use on the neck!
