I only applied it at night, but in the morning, there's no feeling of tightness. It's a product I want to keep using. Especially for those in their late 50s when skin becomes very dry, I recommend this ampoule to anyone reading this review. It has no harmful ingredients and is trustworthy. It's really good! (I thought I only needed to fill out the survey-like review, but I've just realized I should write a detailed review like this. Even though it's late, this is a sincere review, and I hope the Hwahae staff and potential buyers don't misunderstand.)
ConsThe only downside is that it runs a bit when applied. It's more watery than viscous, so when you use the dropper, if you don't quickly rub it in with your hands after squeezing it out, it just drips down.
TipAs mentioned, it's closer to a water-like consistency, so remember to prepare one hand to rub it in while you're pressing the dropper on your forehead with the other. If you don't, this precious product will all end up on the floor.

It's less viscous than typical hydrating ampoules, but definitely feels less sticky on the skin.
ConsWhile it absorbs well, if you apply it directly to your face with the dropper and don't spread it quickly enough, it tends to run down your face. I've had it drip onto the floor or my clothes several times.

I really dislike stickiness, so even in winter when it's super dry, I avoid products with even a hint of oiliness. But this one isn't sticky at all, which I love so much! Fragrance-free Personally, I'm put off by strong scents, but this one, being from Etude's Pure line, has no artificial fragrances and no unpleasant smells. I really appreciate that! No irritation I've been using it consistently for about a week, and it's been gentle without any irritation! I have sensitive skin that easily turns red or gets rough with even slight irritation, but I've been using this without any issues. —————Update 8/5————— I've finished the entire bottle!!!!! Used it down to the last drop, no blemishes, and it's a great serum that's refreshing for summer while still providing some hydration.
ConsViscosity It's too runny. I usually dispense essence or serum on the back of my hand before applying to my face, but this just drips right off. Deep hydration While I do prefer lightweight products, there are some that still feel deeply hydrating. This one doesn't quite give that deep moisture feeling.
TipTo work around the thin consistency, I'm just carefully applying small amounts at a time. To boost hydration, I'm layering it multiple times!! Applying several layers makes it more moisturizing. I'm enjoying how lightweight it is, so I'll probably repurchase the full-size when I run out!

It didn't cause any blemishes, so I felt confident using it. The product is fragrance-free, and its texture is quite fluid - when you use the dropper, it tends to run down your face. After toning, I used this as a hydrating and soothing essence. It absorbs cleanly and feels great! Given my extremely sensitive skin, I was more relieved that it didn't cause any blemishes or redness while using it, rather than focusing on its hydrating and soothing properties.
ConsThe only slight downside is that because the texture is so light and runny, it can feel a bit lacking in deep hydration when used as a moisturizing essence in the evening.

It absorbs quickly leaving no residue, making it perfect for daily use both morning and night. True to the Soon Jung line, it has a clean, fragrance-free formula that's ideal for sensitive skin.
ConsGiven it's an essence, the texture is quite runny. I think it might have been even better if it had a thicker, more ampoule-like consistency.

Application The thin, runny texture makes it easy to apply. Ampoules are generally user-friendly in this aspect. 2. Fragrance-free Loved that it's almost scentless. Strong fragrances can sometimes give me headaches. 3. Large volume and container Many ampoules come in tiny amounts, making liberal use a concern. This product offers double the volume of others, perfect for generous application. The dropper works well too, unlike some poorly designed ones. 4. Absorption and texture The light formula absorbs exceptionally well. A couple of pats and it's gone, with virtually no stickiness. As someone who dislikes tacky ampoules, this is a major plus. 5. Gentle formula Perhaps due to its cica-calming properties, it feels very mild. Though I don't have sensitive skin, it didn't sting even on scratched areas or in my eyes. 6. Packaging Personally, I find the packaging sleek and well-designed. Some products with unattractive packaging end up hidden in drawers, but this one can proudly sit on my vanity.
Cons1. Soothing effect? Honestly, it's hard to tell. It's unrealistic to expect dramatic results from non-pharmaceutical products, though. Not a major drawback, and it does feel gentle on the skin. 2. Low viscosity The watery consistency tends to drip easily, as you can see in the hand swatch photo. Applying directly from the dropper to your face might result in product wastage. 3. Makeup pilling Using too much can cause base makeup to pill. I had a mishap when rushing one morning. Using less solves this issue. 4. Dropper limitations Like many dropper products, it's challenging to get the last bits out. While I haven't finished this bottle yet, it seems destined for the same fate.
TipIt's not suitable for standalone use (ampoules generally aren't recommended for solo application), but its mild formulation makes it great for layering with other products. The lightweight feel makes it perfect for summer use. Despite being an ampoule, it works well both in the morning before makeup and as part of an evening multi-step routine. (I typically reserve richer ampoules for nighttime use only). The generous volume also makes it a great addition to DIY modeling masks.

Some products claim to be odorless but still have a slight chemical scent. This one, however, truly has no smell at all. It's gentle and pleasant. The dropper pump dispenses just the right amount each time, which I found convenient.
ConsIt's quite watery and tends to run a bit. After application, it feels like you've applied aloe gel, leaving a slightly tight sensation (though it doesn't pill). Those with very dry skin might find it not moisturizing enough.
TipUsing it with a cotton pad like an ampoule-soaked pad works well! Follow up immediately with a hydrating cream for less tightness and better results.
