It's a great product for everyday use. No irritation and no fragrance! It's exactly what you'd expect from a pure, gentle line. I love how it absorbs into the skin, leaving a nice, firm finish. The dropper doesn't seem to work as well as others... That's about the only issue I can think of. - ra*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 28, 2024
- Clean and elegant design - True to its name 'Pure', the ingredients are gentle (I'm pregnant and using this) - Hygienic dropper format (the long dropper allows for generous dispensing) - Water-like texture absorbs well into the skin - Pleasantly fragrance-free - Semi-transparent packaging makes it difficult to check remaining product before discarding the outer box - Glass bottle is a bit heavy for carrying around - May feel drying for those with dry skin in fall and winter, though fine for summer use - cr**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 10, 2024
I love how gentle it is, without any irritation. It absorbs quickly without feeling sticky, making it perfect for hot summer use. The only downside is the small size. I wish it came in a larger volume. - qo********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 1, 2024
It deeply hydrates your skin, locking in moisture It helps soothe and care for irritated skin There's nothing to dislike, but it's a bit on the pricey side No downsides to mention Nothing disappointing about it - ev*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2024
I've been using this for about a week, and my facial skin isn't flaking, so I'll likely continue using it. I've been consistently using the Soon Jung Cica Balm, so when I saw the same Cica line ampoule came out, I decided to try it - and it's absolutely fantastic. The best advantage is that there's no rich feeling at all. Since I'm the type whose skin actually deteriorates with excess oil, this suits me well. The amount that comes out with one dropper is just right. Unlike other Soon Jung products that were too rich and caused my pores to enlarge and skin irritation, the Cica line doesn't trigger excess oil production, which I love. There's also no tingling sensation whatsoever. I hope they don't discontinue this or change the formula! Personally, I'd love it if they could develop and release a hydrating cream that doesn't cause any oiliness at all. So far, this product doesn't seem to have any drawbacks. It provides just the right amount of hydration for the ampoule step. - ci******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 2, 2024
The texture is a water-like serum that absorbs quickly when patted in, leaving the skin feeling hydrated! It's perfect for combination to oily skin types! I applied it every morning after toner, and despite its lightweight appearance, it provided excellent hydration for combination dehydrated skin! Highly recommended for combination/oily and combination dehydrated skin types! It's also gentle enough for sensitive skin! While the regular price is $29 for 50ml, you can snag it for around $10 during sales, which is great! I expected the ampoule essence to have a thick, concentrated texture like typical ampoules, not a watery consistency. So it was a bit disappointing for addressing deep dryness! It seems better suited for lightweight application! After cleansing with toner, applying two layers of this essence worked wonderfully! Occasionally, I'd soak cotton pads with it and place them on areas with redness - it calmed my skin instantly, which was fantastic! - ji***********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 27, 2024
Gentle and mild - 100 points! A reliable and fuss-free product during use. Quite pricey compared to other ampoules, and it runs out quickly. - db*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 11, 2024
I bought this again because I tried it before and liked it. It absorbs quickly, and it doesn't cause any new blemishes on my face. It's truly gentle on the skin, as the name suggests. Perhaps because it's so gentle, it doesn't seem to have any dramatic effects. - co*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2024
The non-sticky formula made it pleasant to use. Its water-like texture was refreshingly nice even in summer. The hydration level seemed decent enough. However, I feel it might not be sufficient on its own for skin that needs to address dryness! Personally, I don't expect essences to provide intense hydration, so I usually add a moisturizer in winter and found this worked well for me. Personally, I didn't see significant results in terms of blemish soothing. That said, it didn't cause any additional blemishes either. It maintained my skin quite well when I didn't have any active breakouts. This suggests the product is likely gentle and not entirely ineffective. However, for existing blemishes... it didn't provide any dramatic improvements. - 2z***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedNov 14, 2023
It's not greasy even when used by oily skin types in summer. It feels like the lightest serum I've ever tried. Even oily skin can get a bit dry during seasonal changes, but this worked amazingly well in summer.
