It feels like the lightest serum I've ever tried.
ConsEven oily skin can get a bit dry during seasonal changes, but this worked amazingly well in summer.

While it's not an ultra-hydrating ampoule, it's perfect for my combination dehydrated skin. With the sudden humidity and heat, my skin has been an oil slick, but this absorbs well and feels light on the skin. Soothing: My skin absolutely loves panthenol, and this ampoule has it high up in the ingredient list. After using it for a few days, I noticed that while it doesn't dramatically calm blemishes, it does prevent them from worsening and helps them subside without causing irritation. Scent: As someone who's super sensitive to fragrances, I appreciate that this is nearly unscented, making it comfortable to apply. It's clearly designed with soothing in mind. Application: I usually mix ampoules with aloe gel and pat it onto my face. In the morning, if I apply too much before my cushion foundation, it can cause some pilling. This might be due to the hyaluronic acid. I'd recommend applying multiple thin layers rather than one thick layer.
ConsWhile there aren't any major drawbacks, its lightweight formula might be more suitable for those with oily skin. Those with very dry skin might find it a bit lacking in hydration. However, with summer approaching, it could work well as a morning ampoule, as opposed to a more concentrated evening treatment. Just remember, if you apply too much, it may cause pilling, so make sure it's fully absorbed before applying makeup.

As someone with combination dehydrated skin, applying it twice and finishing with a rich cream was perfect for me. For those with dry skin, it's ideal for purely replenishing moisture. Formula: It has a runny consistency, somewhere between an ampoule and a toner. It absorbs well into the skin. Scent: In my opinion, there was absolutely no fragrance!
ConsWhile it's great for hydration, I didn't really feel much soothing effect. However, I think the boost in moisture could help with blemishes.
TipI believe this ampoule can be more effective for any skin type if sealed in with a rich cream, trapping all that wonderful hydration!

Right off the bat, this ampoule felt incredibly lightweight when I applied it (I tested it on my hand and it flowed like water) As someone with super sensitive skin, I've had issues with heavier gel-type products causing blemishes or redness (Personally, I'm not a fan of that sticky feeling either) This product had none of those issues It felt light and fresh, without any stickiness In my opinion, it might be better suited for summer than winter (Though the ingredients definitely seem high-quality) Second great point! The generous size (50ml) is a big plus This might vary depending on the user, but I used to use a pricey ampoule with a tiny volume So I had to be really conservative with it Compared to that, this product's larger size Allows for more liberal application without worry Highly recommended for those who like to slather on watery ampoules before bed It seems like it would be comfortable to use Even for those with sensitive skin Third point: Ingredients As someone with sensitive skin, I always check ingredients carefully This product contains all the good stuff for sensitive skin So it gave me a sense of security (I didn't worry while applying it) Final thoughts I didn't use it daily, more like every other day And I didn't experience any blemishes or redness! (Ingredients pass the test) While not dramatic, it has a gentle soothing effect I'd consider repurchasing once I finish this bottle
ConsWhile it's not extremely expensive, The price might be borderline for some people So it might be best to buy during a sale
TipI think it works even better when stored in the fridge!

While not completely watery, it has a lightweight texture. Perfect for this season! After absorption, it leaves a soft, smooth feeling that refines skin texture. True to its 'Calming' name, it's great to apply after slight sun exposure - no irritation at all.
ConsDue to its light texture, a cream is definitely necessary. It might be challenging to use in winter, but should be fantastic for summer! The bottle becomes completely transparent when you remove the outer wrap, so it's best not to leave it by the window.
TipI have a sun allergy and struggled a bit after recent exposure. Applying this ampoule generously before my aloe soothing gel and letting it absorb worked wonders for calming my skin. This will likely become my go-to product for summer!

First off, the texture is light and watery - perfect for easy application! It has a runny consistency that glides on smoothly. The dropper makes it convenient to apply directly onto the face. While it's lightweight, it doesn't absorb instantly but rather takes a moment to sink in. It doesn't feel super hydrating, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Despite being an ampoule, the generous amount allows for liberal use!
ConsI'm not sure about its soothing effects yet, perhaps due to the short usage period or because my skin wasn't in need of calming. However, I can confidently say that it didn't cause any blemishes or skin issues whatsoever.
TipGiven the ample quantity, it might be great to use as a mask by applying it to disposable sheet masks or thin cotton pads!

But this one has a generous size, so you can apply it liberally without worrying about running out too quickly. When I applied it, true to its transparent ampoule nature, it felt incredibly lightweight and spread smoothly. After it absorbed a bit, there was a slight tackiness when I touched my skin, but it didn't feel greasy or heavy at all. Despite being lightweight, it didn't lack in hydration. When applied to dry skin, you can really feel its moisturizing power. While I'm not sure if it lives up to its 'Calming' name in terms of soothing effects, it didn't cause any irritation. I was satisfied with how it's light yet still provides decent hydration. I'm usually skeptical of drugstore skincare basics, but Etude's Soon Jung line has become one I can trust and use with confidence.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad to mention about this product. It's a solid, reliable option that's easy to incorporate into your routine.

It absorbs quickly as you spread it, leaving a slightly tacky finish. However, this tackiness doesn't linger and soon disappears, making it pleasant for light application. - It's fragrance-free and feels incredibly gentle with no irritation whatsoever. - While I found the hydration a bit lacking in the current dry weather, I think it'll be perfect and comfortable to use when it gets warmer.
ConsPerhaps due to its lightweight nature, it didn't improve my deep dryness, nor did I feel any soothing effect. While it doesn't cause irritation or blemishes, I couldn't notice any significant benefits from this product.

Extremely light, so I use a generous amount of the serum. Overall, there's nothing particularly bothersome about the fragrance, texture, or feel. It's best thought of as a very light hydrating serum. Due to the extreme temperature fluctuations during the seasonal change, my skin balance was disrupted, revealing all my skin concerns like texture issues and blemishes. I had high hopes for this Cica Calming Ampoule to live up to its name, but I didn't see significant effects in terms of soothing or hydration. Perhaps this is what people mean when they say its charm lies in being unremarkable... At least it didn't cause any additional blemishes or other issues. However, because it doesn't provide that satisfying hydrated feeling, I end up applying a lot more moisturizer afterwards. Recommended for: Those looking for a truly lightweight hydrating serum (great for very oily skin in summer)
ConsI couldn't really feel the hydrating and soothing effects, which should be the main benefits of the Pure Fit Cica Calming Ampoule... I was even using it alongside another brand's cica cream, but I started to think I might as well just use the cica cream alone to save money. 50ml for 29,000 won feels expensive. Personally, I've been lucky enough to try many ampoules and I usually rely on them for most of my hydration, but this one left me disappointed...

But I often switched products because I felt something was still lacking. Now, I think I've finally found the one I can stick with! This product will be great for dry/oily skin types in the upcoming summer, but it might be a bit lightweight for winter, so I'll probably add an extra step or choose a more nourishing cream then. It's just so rewarding when you find a product through a trial program that works so well for your skin - I'm 100% repurchasing this! 😊🩷 ‼️Please excuse the slight differences in lighting and color in the before and after photos.🥲🥲
Cons💔No effect on angry, inflamed acne While this product helped improve my small blemishes by providing hydration, and was great at soothing and calming irritated, sensitive skin, it didn't work for all my acne. Since this isn't an acne-targeted product, I wouldn't recommend it specifically for acne-prone skin. Instead, I'd suggest it for those with sensitive skin in need of hydration and soothing. For my more painful, cystic acne, I continued using a dedicated acne treatment. 💔Ended up using a lot This is probably because my skin is so dehydrated - I had to layer this product 2-3 times to keep my skin from feeling dry and having excess oil production over time. So the downside is that I went through the product fairly quickly due to needing to use a good amount each time. 💔The lightweight, watery texture makes it absorb quickly You have to work fast to spread it across your face after dispensing, as the water-like formula just flows right off. It's not a major issue, but coming from a thicker, cream-like texture before, I'm still getting used to this.
TipUsing the Etude Soonjung Cicacarming Ampoule together with the Tosowoong Hyaluronic Acid Toner and the IOPE Panthenol Cream has been a really great combination for me. The products work well together, and my skin feels plump and comfortable. I'm very satisfied with this routine! :)
