First off, I feel like this product really helped reduce facial puffiness! It's great because it combines the benefits of gua sha in one product, making it perfect for beginners in facial massage techniques. Even though I have super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes, so the ingredients seem to be quite gentle. There's not really anything to complain about, except maybe the price is a bit on the higher side? Also, it seems to run out faster than I expected. It's a good idea to buy two at once - you can use one for your face and the other for your body! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 22, 2023
It's so convenient to keep this in the fridge and apply it after washing your face for an easy skincare routine. I only use this at night without any other basic skincare. It's hygienic to use the green part to gently roll it on, and it's soft and comfortable for a mini gua sha session! As someone with sensitive skin that reacts badly to even slight mistakes in skincare, I've never experienced redness or blemishes with this. It's a great gentle mask for super sensitive skin~ When I apply this in the morning and then use a sunstick, it tends to pill a bit, so I don't reach for it right before makeup. I mainly use it at night or in the morning when I'm not going out~ I love that there's no need to wash it off! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2023
I thought the Hwahae Testers' review period was ending this week! 😅 Pros: After trying it, I have to say it's quite good? I had a feeling I'd win this time, so I applied for something unique and different from what I usually use. Never expected it to be a massage tool! Anyway, it works. You can clearly see the reduction in puffiness when used in the morning. The massage cream was also better than expected - didn't cause many blemishes (though this could be because I washed my face again after massaging). Summary: - Massage effect: Noticeable. I used it on my face in the morning and legs in the evening, and it was effective. While the leg swelling reduction wasn't mind-blowing, I could feel them loosening up. - Gua sha shape: Appropriate. You'll understand when you use it - surprisingly suitable shape and not too hard. Of course, it can hurt if you press too hard. - Massage cream: Pairs well with the gua sha. It gives you that feeling of... living your best life, you know? Honestly, while I didn't notice any brightening effects, I'd consider buying the cream separately if it was available. Cons: - Hygiene is a concern. At first, I thought the upper gua sha part could be detached or opened for cleaning after use, but it doesn't open. Keep that in mind. (I used the same tool on my face and legs... couldn't bring myself to try it on my armpits, which are supposedly good for reducing puffiness. You can only wipe the outside 😢) - The price is wicked. Honestly, it feels worth about $45. Still, it's more of a luxury item than a must-have... Recommendation: Surprisingly, my mom ended up using this product more than I did. It seems more popular with people in their 40s-50s who are into skincare, rather than those in their 20s. (The writer started using it with her mom, but now mom uses it exclusively.) If you want to do something nice for your parents, buying one of these and giving them a face massage might not be a bad idea! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
It's perfect for gua sha massage - regular massage oils can feel too greasy, while regular hydrating gels or creams dry out quickly. This pumpkin mask hits the sweet spot. I usually use a heart-shaped gua sha tool, and although this all-in-one product didn't excite me initially, the massage function is fantastic! It adheres well to the skin, giving a satisfying sensation when working the neck-jaw line and moving from the mouth area up to the cheekbones. It didn't cause any blemishes on my skin. The product seems quite generous in quantity. It's convenient how it dispenses just the right amount of mask content with a simple twist. I tried using it before bed since it's supposed to absorb quickly, but it feels too sticky. I'm a bit concerned that some of the mask content might get into the applicator hole, so I feel like I need to use it up quickly. If you're using it before bed, you might want to try this routine: wash your hair, cleanse your face, do the gua sha with the mask, then shower your body. Afterwards, you could even rinse your face lightly if needed. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 21, 2023
Gua sha is all the rage these days, and this product is fantastic because it combines the tool with the skincare essence. Investing a few minutes in the morning helps reduce puffiness and provides hydration, prepping the skin for makeup. At night, it's great for relieving tired, stressed skin. The pumpkin ingredient is reassuring, and apart from the fragrance, the ingredients are good! After using it, I didn't experience any blemishes, and I loved the hydrating effect. For a product containing pumpkin, the scent feels a bit artificial. The essence seems a bit sticky for gua sha use. Apart from these points, it's decent. Since it's summer, I recommend keeping it in the fridge and using it cold for a refreshing massage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
Skin type: Super sensitive skin, Combination I used this product while monitoring my skin after recently recovering from severe blemishes due to an allergic reaction. Firstly, I'm relieved that it didn't cause any new breakouts. Thankfully, the ingredients seem to agree with my skin. The scent was pleasant and not off-putting at all! The roller made it easy to control the amount applied, and the texture seemed just right. It felt like applying a thick sleeping mask, but without much stickiness, and I could really feel the hydration. I've never used gua sha before, so I wasn't sure if I was doing it correctly when I tried it for this event. But I just thought of it as giving myself a massage while using it! If I had to point out one drawback, I'd say the gua sha shape is somewhat limited in its design. But I understood that and was still satisfied with using it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
Texture: If absorbed thoroughly, it's just sticky enough to prevent makeup from pilling, with a moisturizing formula. Scent: Very mild fresh pumpkin fragrance, not overwhelming. De-puffing: Whether due to the pumpkin ingredients or the gua sha effect (personally, I think it's the latter), it reduces morning puffiness faster than usual when used in the morning. Gentle on skin: Doesn't cause blemishes, keeps skin hydrated for a long time. Gua sha shape: Suitable for jawline gua sha, but not ideal for forehead or nose bridge areas. Hygiene: While it's said to be hygienic because only a small amount is dispensed at a time and the dispensed product is separated from the main contents, I'm not so sure. The leftover product tends to gather around the opening, which seems like it could be prone to bacterial growth. For hygiene, wipe the applicator with an alcohol swab after use, or make sure the gua sha tool is completely dry before closing the lid. Absorption improves if you apply a thin layer of functional moisturizer before use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
The container is designed for gua sha massage, making application convenient. You can massage while applying, and it's great that you don't have to get your hands messy. It's time-saving and convenient to do two things at once. It's a very rich type, so it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. When you wake up in the morning, your skin feels smooth. I'm not sure if it really helps with puffiness, but I tried eating ramen before bed after applying it, and my face didn't swell up much. It didn't cause any blemishes either. My complexion seems to brighten a bit. When washing my face in the morning, it feels very slippery, so I'm not sure if the product has absorbed well. Also, because it's a sticky type, it seems like you need to help it absorb separately. It might be better to apply when it's a bit cool. I have oily skin, and it feels stickier when it's hot. When I applied it with the air conditioning on, it was nice because my skin didn't get dry. Although the container allows for massage, please pat it in separately to help it absorb. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
First off, the name and packaging are so pumpkin-colored, it's adorable! The product itself has a slight gua sha-like feel, making it easy to massage in quickly. It's perfect for those busy mornings when you don't have time to grab your gua sha tool and massage oil separately - this one product does it all, even when you're half-asleep. It absorbs quickly and well, and the texture is pleasantly moisturizing. As someone with atopic, sensitive skin, I used it without any blemishes! The one inconvenience is that it's not refillable. Given the price of the full-size product, it can be a bit burdensome to buy a new one. It would be great if refills were available. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 20, 2023
1. Size and Scent Firstly, the size is larger than expected. You can cover your entire face with just one or two rolls, and it dispenses in small amounts, making it easy to control. There's a unique, light pumpkin-like scent that I found quite pleasant. 2. Skin Elasticity The day after use, there's a noticeable pack effect that makes your skin feel firmer. I didn't experience any blemishes or other issues. With consistent use, it seems like it would be a great help for hydration and elasticity, especially for dry skin. 3. Portability It doesn't get on your hands while using it, and it's perfect for taking on trips. I really appreciate this aspect of the product. 1. Heavy Texture The biggest issue is that it's extremely rich. It's not easy to use for those with oily skin like me. Even if you use it as a pack after applying just toner, it doesn't absorb well and feels sticky. Even after the stickiness absorbs, it feels like there's a layer left on your face... For oily skin, I definitely recommend using it as a sleeping pack only. 2. De-puffing Effect? and Face Incompatibility The de-puffing effect ultimately depends on individual massage technique... The face contours and massage gua sha parts didn't match well, so I used it more as a firming sleeping pack rather than for de-puffing. If it doesn't fit your face size well, there are areas where the massage doesn't work effectively, so I had to rub those parts separately with my hands. 3. Lack of Detailed Massage Instructions It would be helpful if the product came with a simple guide on recommended facial massage techniques. It's really great to use on the neck after keeping it in the refrigerator. The neck contours match well for most people, so it seems very easy to use. Since I have oily skin, I used it all week as a neck wrinkle and trapezius muscle massage cream rather than on my face.
