I bought a gua sha tool before, but when I actually tried to use it, it felt like such a hassle. You need to apply something to your skin first... But then I stumbled upon this product, and I loved that it doesn't stick to your hands and doesn't require any pre-application on the face. It seemed so convenient, so I decided to buy it. And wow, it really does smell amazing and it's super easy to use! I actually bought it for gua sha purposes rather than for reducing puffiness, and I'm really enjoying it. The scent... I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but it's absolutely delightful! There's nothing I dislike about it yet, except maybe the price is a bit on the higher side...? Though I did manage to snag it during a sale, hehe. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 21, 2023
The scent is pleasant, and the best part is that the container can be used like a gua sha tool, so you don't need to prepare anything extra. I love that it's large, allowing for easy application without much effort. The texture isn't runny like water, making it convenient to glide on smoothly. It feels great to massage from the chin down to the neck with a bit of pressure, as it seems to reduce puffiness. After application, it might feel a bit sticky at first, but it absorbs quickly without any pilling, which is fantastic. The price is a tad high, but... the large quantity does last a while. Using it cold seems to reduce puffiness faster... I find it more hydrating when I apply it right after cleansing, without using an emulsion first. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 29, 2023
* My skin type is extremely sensitive, acne-prone, and tends to get hot easily. Feel 🤍 It has a cool, refreshing feel with a moisturizing and slightly rich finish. Unlike my usual gua sha routine with heavy nourishing creams that caused small pimples, this product didn't cause any blemishes, which I loved. Especially appreciated how it seemed to cool down my face - personally found it less bothersome than using sheet masks. Scent 🤍 It's not pumpkin-scented, but closer to a floral fragrance. How to Use 🤍 I mainly rolled it on my face and trapezius muscles, holding it gently. As someone who works out, I'm serious about trapezius massages. Though a bit pricey, the cool and healthy sensation while rolling became addictive, making me use it daily. For the face, I focused on massaging the jawline and cheekbones, which left my facial contours feeling more defined. Those with oily skin might find the formula too rich and difficult to use. As a hardcore lazy beauty enthusiast, I really prefer these all-in-one products. While gua sha became trendy, it was surprisingly tedious and challenging, so I didn't see many people around me using it. However, I'd definitely recommend this product as an alternative. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2023
Easy-to-hold grip that fits perfectly to facial contours Gel texture feels light yet firm and bouncy Noticeably effective at reducing puffiness Sweet, pumpkin-like fragrance Difficult to control the amount - applying too much before makeup can cause pilling Leaves a slightly sticky feeling after use and takes time to dry A travel essential! I also tried it on my calves and found it great for managing swelling without needing a separate gua sha tool. It felt refreshing when used on the collarbone and back of the neck too. Works hard as an all-in-one de-puffing solution. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinAug 21, 2023
1. Texture: As it's a lifting product, it has a firm and rich consistency. 2. Scent: It has a pumpkin tea-like fragrance. 3. Experience: After applying it before bed and waking up, I was satisfied to notice that my facial puffiness was noticeably reduced! The applicator is designed to allow for gua sha-like application, which means you can't simply squeeze or scoop it out like a regular cream. This was slightly inconvenient. Also, when the cream-dispensing part touched my face, I found it a bit painful and irritating to my skin... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
- The gel-like texture of this mask isn't too sticky, and I could feel the hydration lasting until morning! - I applied it as the final step after my skincare routine, and it felt great to use a mask that absorbs well without any pilling. - When using cosmetics, besides how it absorbs, I also consider the scent important. This one has a subtle, natural fragrance that's not polarizing, making it easy to use. (No pumpkin smell, by the way!) - It's hygienic and convenient to use without getting product on your hands. (The photo below shows the single-use amount dispensed with one turn!) - While I appreciated not getting product on my hands, the container is a bit large for reaching all facial areas easily. You might need to use your fingers for some spots. Additionally, as you apply it to your face, some product gets wiped back onto the container. This means some of the mask ends up on the back of the applicator, which feels wasteful as you have to wipe it off without using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
1. The all-in-one gua sha tool and cream combo - I love that you can easily glide it on without the hassle of applying cream and then using a separate gua sha tool! 2. The scent (baby powder fragrance) - I personally enjoy this smell, but some might not. However, it's not an overpowering baby powder scent, more of a subtle, soft fragrance that shouldn't be too bothersome during use. 3. Moisturizing cream - It's super hydrating, keeping your skin moisturized throughout the massage! To be honest, I never really did facial massages except for occasional visits to the esthetician. But doing it myself allows me to focus on areas I need most, and the accessibility means I use it often. With frequent use, I've noticed a significant reduction in facial puffiness. The cream dispenser keeps releasing product even after you've stopped turning it, which can be a bit annoying. Also, if you apply too much pressure during the massage, the edges of the tool can irritate your skin. Just be gentle, and you should be fine! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
The texture is similar to a gel-type moisturizer! The scent is also inoffensive and unlikely to be polarizing - it's a pleasant, neutral fragrance. As soon as I opened the package, I was impressed by how adorable the packaging was, which made me excited to try it out. I've been using a ceramic gua sha tool, but it's not very comfortable to hold and I rarely reach for it. This product, however, combines the gua sha and cream in one, making it super easy to use! It's now an essential part of my nighttime skincare routine. After use, you can simply wipe the part that touches your skin with a wet wipe, making it easy to keep clean and hygienic. One downside is that the cream tends to pill a bit when applied, similar to aloe gel. This is likely due to the texture, but it can be a bit sticky, which some people might not like. The opening where the cream comes out might feel a bit sharp if you rub it incorrectly. However, this isn't an issue if you angle it properly against your face. It's better for nighttime care than morning use. You can use it daily for facial contouring. The texture is great for summer when heavy creams feel uncomfortable, but in winter, you might want to follow up with a richer moisturizer after using this. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
✓Skin type: Dehydrated dry, super sensitive skin ✓Texture: Gel-type (similar to aloe vera gel) ✓Scent: Cosmetic fragrance (no pumpkin scent) The twist-to-dispense gel format makes it incredibly easy to control the amount. True to its gel nature, it feels substantial when applied, but after massaging it in, it absorbs completely within 5 minutes as if it was never there. However, it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry! The rounded dispenser opening is perfect for massaging while applying. Unlike other gua sha tools that can be sharp and thin, causing pain and potential swelling, this one is pleasantly rounded. It doesn't apply excessive pressure, making it great for lymph nodes and effectively reducing puffiness. Since the product dispenses by twisting, I'm slightly concerned about gel that's been exposed to air getting pushed back into the container during application. After an evening shower, I gently massage the gel into my collarbones and trapezius muscles, then move on to a facial massage. On mornings after late-night snacking or when I wake up puffy, I use this product for a massage after cleansing, followed by a cream mask. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
The texture isn't thin, and it feels a bit heavy when applied. There's still a slight stickiness after absorption. However, it definitely moisturizes my extremely dry skin, and I didn't feel any dryness until the next morning. Great hydration! Personally, my face and hands get really puffy even after just 10 minutes of sleep, but when I apply this the night before and again after cleansing in the morning, it quickly reduces the puffiness. The scent is pumpkin-like, not too strong, with a sweet pumpkin porridge aroma. It smells delicious! I didn't experience any blemishes or sensitive reactions while using it. It feels a bit heavy for summer use. As I have extremely dry skin, I've used heavy formulas for hydration before, so I didn't find the texture problematic. However, for gua sha purposes, I was disappointed that the edges around the opening felt sharp. If you're not careful with the angle, it might scratch your face. It's also a bit inconvenient having to wipe around the opening after use. I recommend applying the product and using a separate facial gua sha tool. Keeping it in the refrigerator seems to help more with reducing puffiness.
