* My skin type is extremely sensitive, acne-prone, and tends to get hot easily. Feel 🤍 It has a cool, refreshing feel with a moisturizing and slightly rich finish. Unlike my usual gua sha routine with heavy nourishing creams that caused small pimples, this product didn't cause any blemishes, which I loved. Especially appreciated how it seemed to cool down my face - personally found it less bothersome than using sheet masks. Scent 🤍 It's not pumpkin-scented, but closer to a floral fragrance. How to Use 🤍 I mainly rolled it on my face and trapezius muscles, holding it gently. As someone who works out, I'm serious about trapezius massages. Though a bit pricey, the cool and healthy sensation while rolling became addictive, making me use it daily. For the face, I focused on massaging the jawline and cheekbones, which left my facial contours feeling more defined. Those with oily skin might find the formula too rich and difficult to use. As a hardcore lazy beauty enthusiast, I really prefer these all-in-one products. While gua sha became trendy, it was surprisingly tedious and challenging, so I didn't see many people around me using it. However, I'd definitely recommend this product as an alternative. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 22, 2023
Skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin that's prone to blemishes and feels dry without enough oil in skincare products. My skin tends to be oily but breaks out periodically. Texture: To the naked eye, it looks like a translucent soothing gel, but it has a slightly thicker, honey-like consistency. Scent: I've been using it for over a week and barely noticed any fragrance. It's so subtle that it's practically unscented. Hydration: Despite its translucent gel-like appearance, which made me think it might only provide temporary hydration like a water cream, I was pleasantly surprised. Even when I only applied this cream pack after cleansing, my skin didn't feel dry at all! While the packaging has the advantage of allowing for skincare and massage simultaneously without direct hand contact, I'm a bit concerned about hygiene since it still touches the skin directly. The product description recommends using it morning and night, so I tried it after cleansing in the morning just before applying makeup. It worked wonderfully - not too rich, and it didn't cause any dryness or pilling! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
- The gel-like texture of this mask isn't too sticky, and I could feel the hydration lasting until morning! - I applied it as the final step after my skincare routine, and it felt great to use a mask that absorbs well without any pilling. - When using cosmetics, besides how it absorbs, I also consider the scent important. This one has a subtle, natural fragrance that's not polarizing, making it easy to use. (No pumpkin smell, by the way!) - It's hygienic and convenient to use without getting product on your hands. (The photo below shows the single-use amount dispensed with one turn!) - While I appreciated not getting product on my hands, the container is a bit large for reaching all facial areas easily. You might need to use your fingers for some spots. Additionally, as you apply it to your face, some product gets wiped back onto the container. This means some of the mask ends up on the back of the applicator, which feels wasteful as you have to wipe it off without using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
1. The all-in-one gua sha tool and cream combo - I love that you can easily glide it on without the hassle of applying cream and then using a separate gua sha tool! 2. The scent (baby powder fragrance) - I personally enjoy this smell, but some might not. However, it's not an overpowering baby powder scent, more of a subtle, soft fragrance that shouldn't be too bothersome during use. 3. Moisturizing cream - It's super hydrating, keeping your skin moisturized throughout the massage! To be honest, I never really did facial massages except for occasional visits to the esthetician. But doing it myself allows me to focus on areas I need most, and the accessibility means I use it often. With frequent use, I've noticed a significant reduction in facial puffiness. The cream dispenser keeps releasing product even after you've stopped turning it, which can be a bit annoying. Also, if you apply too much pressure during the massage, the edges of the tool can irritate your skin. Just be gentle, and you should be fine! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'm writing this review after using the product for 10 days since receiving it. First off, I was tired of the endless cycle of slathering on creams, using gua sha tools, and buying new products when I ran out. This product is great because it does everything in one go! It's so convenient - no need to sanitize your hands, squeeze out more cream, and reapply. You can just dispense it directly from the container! The scent isn't overpowering, so it's unlikely to be divisive. Most people should be able to use it comfortably. I also loved the texture. It's not runny, but rather a perfect middle ground between thick and thin. It feels refreshing and pleasant when applied to the skin. The only downside is the price, which is a bit disappointing. Apart from that, I'm really satisfied and enjoyed using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
All the puffiness creams I've tried before always contained artificial menthol scents and menthol, which stung when applied to atopic skin and caused eye irritation when used around the eyes. However, the Skin:I Pumpkin Puffiness Cream Pack is different. It doesn't have that artificial cooling sensation or strong menthol scent. The fragrance is lovely, and the subtle cooling effect is incredibly satisfying. I often experience facial puffiness, especially if I eat dinner and go to bed right after. The next morning, my face feels like it's about to burst! The Skin:I Pumpkin Puffiness Cream is so convenient with its built-in gua sha tool. You can easily pump out just the right amount of cream by twisting, which is very hygienic. It's so easy to use that I apply it morning and evening. I even took it on a 3-day trip! It's portable, lightweight, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Plus, the volume is a generous 65g, which is significantly more than the typical 50g creams. Wow, I honestly can't think of any drawbacks to mention. I'm sorry, but I have nothing negative to say! I've used this not just on my face, but also on my trapezius muscles and legs. Unlike regular ceramic or plastic gua sha tools, this one is rubber-like and slightly soft, so it doesn't hurt and is very comfortable to use. I highly recommend it, especially for the trapezius area. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2023
The gua sha tool's shape is perfectly contoured for the jawline and cheekbones, making it great for massaging. The gently curved edges provide a smooth, comfortable massage experience. The scent is lovely - not exactly like natural pumpkin, but more of a roasted pumpkin aroma with a hint of synthetic fragrance. It's unique and pleasant without being overwhelming. The scent lingers subtly for about 3-4 hours before fading. The texture is like a moisturizer with a bit of richness, but it's not too thick, so it absorbs well into the skin. Now for the most important part - the de-puffing and lifting effects. I used it consistently for 10 days, once or twice daily. Comparing the days I used it to when I didn't, my face definitely looked more lifted. Using the gua sha massage in the morning helped reduce puffiness too. After using it long-term, I noticed that on days I forgot to use it, my skin felt a bit off and looked somewhat dull. The downside is that after massaging my face with the gua sha tool and putting the lid back on without cleaning it, I noticed some blemishes appearing on my chin. Having to clean it after each use was a bit of a hassle. For the best experience, apply the cream to both your jawline and cheekbones before using the tool. This ensures smooth massaging on both areas without any friction. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2023
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! I was personally very satisfied, perhaps because it's my first time using this type of product! The cream texture and product shape are great for facial massage, making it quite convenient to use. It's nice to feel like I'm taking care of myself, and I love that I can give myself a refreshing facial massage without worrying about having clean hands. I was worried after seeing reviews about the unpleasant scent, but personally, I don't think the fragrance is as bad as feared - it's pleasantly aromatic! I was also concerned about breakouts for those with oily skin who sleep with it on, but maybe because I have combination dehydrated skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. I'm still applying it before bed! One downside... it's definitely sticky. It's very sticky, and hair sticks to your face. Due to the product shape, it fits perfectly when massaging the cheekbones, jawline, and neck area, more so than other parts. It doesn't work as well on the forehead. After showering at night, I massage it along my jawline and neck, pressing firmly with a feeling of refining my jawline. Remember to wash your face thoroughly in the morning! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2023
Color & Texture: It has a slightly opaque color and applies smoothly. Being a mask, there's a bit of stickiness, but it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Scent: Personally, I don't find its unique fragrance particularly bothersome. Blemishes: I didn't experience any itching or breakouts while using it. Packaging: I liked that it twists up like a sunstick, which I found more convenient to apply than pump bottles. After using it for a week, I'm generally satisfied. As someone with dry skin who feels dehydrated even in summer, I always try to include both skincare and a mask before bed. I appreciated that after applying this mask as the final step in my routine, I didn't wake up feeling tight or dry. Being pregnant, I've been experiencing more frequent swelling, but I feel like this mask has helped - I didn't notice much puffiness while using it. I also liked that I didn't feel any heaviness on my skin when I woke up in the morning. If I had to point out one drawback, it would be the price range. It's not exactly affordable for everyday use, which is a bit disappointing. It's great to use after your regular skincare routine. Instead of applying a lot at once, it's better to layer it on gradually, massaging it into the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 20, 2023
I've been using this for about two weeks and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! I tend to wake up with a puffy face every morning, so I'm always on the lookout for ways to reduce swelling. I usually do a quick hand massage and use a gua sha before applying makeup. If you have similar concerns, this product is perfect for you! I keep it in the refrigerator and use it cold after cleansing, right after my toner, skipping the emulsion step. Even though I have dry skin, this product is so hydrating that I don't need a separate emulsion. It also creates an excellent base for makeup. While I'm not usually bothered by scents unless they're overpowering, I do have a somewhat sensitive nose. The fragrance of this product is subtle and not harsh at all, so I think even those who are sensitive to scents would find it pleasant to use. Immediately after use, I noticed a slight lifting effect along my jawline, and I loved the firming sensation. Additionally, when I used it after outdoor activities when my skin felt sensitive, it had a soothing effect. The applicator tip is quite wide, which is great for body use, but it makes it challenging to massage smaller areas like the cheekbones or sides of the nose thoroughly. The wide tip makes it suitable for use not just on the face, but also on the neck and trapezius muscles. I feel like it's even more effective at reducing puffiness when used on these areas in addition to the face! For better results in reducing puffiness and calming the skin, I recommend storing it in the refrigerator and using it cold rather than at room temperature.
