Easy-to-hold grip that fits perfectly to facial contours Gel texture feels light yet firm and bouncy Noticeably effective at reducing puffiness Sweet, pumpkin-like fragrance Difficult to control the amount - applying too much before makeup can cause pilling Leaves a slightly sticky feeling after use and takes time to dry A travel essential! I also tried it on my calves and found it great for managing swelling without needing a separate gua sha tool. It felt refreshing when used on the collarbone and back of the neck too. Works hard as an all-in-one de-puffing solution. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
It's perfect for gua sha massage - regular massage oils can feel too greasy, while regular hydrating gels or creams dry out quickly. This pumpkin mask hits the sweet spot. I usually use a heart-shaped gua sha tool, and although this all-in-one product didn't excite me initially, the massage function is fantastic! It adheres well to the skin, giving a satisfying sensation when working the neck-jaw line and moving from the mouth area up to the cheekbones. It didn't cause any blemishes on my skin. The product seems quite generous in quantity. It's convenient how it dispenses just the right amount of mask content with a simple twist. I tried using it before bed since it's supposed to absorb quickly, but it feels too sticky. I'm a bit concerned that some of the mask content might get into the applicator hole, so I feel like I need to use it up quickly. If you're using it before bed, you might want to try this routine: wash your hair, cleanse your face, do the gua sha with the mask, then shower your body. Afterwards, you could even rinse your face lightly if needed. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 21, 2023
Gua sha is all the rage these days, and this product is fantastic because it combines the tool with the skincare essence. Investing a few minutes in the morning helps reduce puffiness and provides hydration, prepping the skin for makeup. At night, it's great for relieving tired, stressed skin. The pumpkin ingredient is reassuring, and apart from the fragrance, the ingredients are good! After using it, I didn't experience any blemishes, and I loved the hydrating effect. For a product containing pumpkin, the scent feels a bit artificial. The essence seems a bit sticky for gua sha use. Apart from these points, it's decent. Since it's summer, I recommend keeping it in the fridge and using it cold for a refreshing massage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
The texture is similar to a gel-type moisturizer! The scent is also inoffensive and unlikely to be polarizing - it's a pleasant, neutral fragrance. As soon as I opened the package, I was impressed by how adorable the packaging was, which made me excited to try it out. I've been using a ceramic gua sha tool, but it's not very comfortable to hold and I rarely reach for it. This product, however, combines the gua sha and cream in one, making it super easy to use! It's now an essential part of my nighttime skincare routine. After use, you can simply wipe the part that touches your skin with a wet wipe, making it easy to keep clean and hygienic. One downside is that the cream tends to pill a bit when applied, similar to aloe gel. This is likely due to the texture, but it can be a bit sticky, which some people might not like. The opening where the cream comes out might feel a bit sharp if you rub it incorrectly. However, this isn't an issue if you angle it properly against your face. It's better for nighttime care than morning use. You can use it daily for facial contouring. The texture is great for summer when heavy creams feel uncomfortable, but in winter, you might want to follow up with a richer moisturizer after using this. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
❗️Texture and Feel The cream has a thick, ointment-like consistency. When applied to the face, it absorbs well and doesn't feel overly rich even on oily skin. However, it is a bit sticky, so hair and dust can easily cling to your face... ❗️Scent It's not unscented, but has a subtle fragrance that I can't quite place. Maybe something like pumpkin blossom...? It's not overpowering though. ❗️Features The biggest advantage is that it combines gua sha and cream in one product. It's perfect for those who find it cumbersome to do gua sha regularly! Especially useful for those who focus on body areas like the neck, arms, and legs. I kept it in the fridge, and the coolness alone made me feel like it was reducing puffiness. It instantly and temporarily brightens the face and improves skin elasticity. I applied it before makeup, and my foundation went on smoothly without pilling or sliding off. ❗️Price The regular price is apparently 45,000 won... which seems a bit steep. ❗️Stickiness The stickiness persists, so things might easily stick to your face. As I don't like sticky textures, I couldn't apply it before bed, which was a bit disappointing. ❗️Gua Sha Shape The gua sha tool seems better suited for body use due to its wide shape. This might be a drawback for those wanting to use it on their face! It would be nice if the gua sha part was interchangeable. If you keep it in the fridge and apply it before makeup, your foundation will go on smoothly and last longer! The slight stickiness seems to help the makeup adhere better. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 21, 2023
Here's my review after using it for two weeks post-partum! The application experience: Despite its gua sha-like head, I thought I'd still need to apply it by hand, but it rolls smoothly even over the contours of my chin, cheeks, and forehead! It applies gently and thoroughly, making me feel like I'm getting a professional massage. Absorption and effectiveness: I kept it in the fridge and it applied cool and smoothly. It absorbs well, allowing you to feel the massage effect as you apply it! I recently gave birth and was lucky enough to be chosen as a Hwahae Tester. After diligently using it, I could actually see my swelling go down. I used it not just on my face but also on my arms and legs. The generous amount allowed me to use it without worry. No need to rinse it off, so it's super convenient! After pregnancy and childbirth left my skin dull and rough, it feels softer and brighter after just two weeks of use. Texture: It's not quite a cream, more of an essence texture. It's easy to use without any mess and applies very smoothly without any stickiness. Scent: I'm sensitive to scents, so I was worried about the pumpkin fragrance, but it's not off-putting at all - just a cool, refreshing scent! Perhaps due to its natural ingredients, the fragrance isn't overpowering. Overall it's great, but there's a slight, not unpleasant stickiness as it's being absorbed. Try keeping it in the fridge for an enhanced cooling effect and more effective de-puffing! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
After cleansing, I didn't use any other skincare products. To really feel the effects, I only used these toner pads 2-3 times a week. They're definitely less hassle than sheet masks. Using them as part of my night care routine left my skin texture soft and firm, which I was very pleased with. I think they might also help with pore elasticity, so I plan to keep using them consistently. Due to the formula, there was a bit of stickiness right after application. As it absorbed, this gradually improved, so I didn't worry about it too much. However, when using it with gua sha, it's better to apply a generous amount of product to minimize skin irritation. The fact that you don't need to buy a separate gua sha tool is a big plus. When you're in a hurry, you can apply a generous amount, do a gua sha massage, leave it on for a bit, then rinse off. I tried using it this way and found that it absorbed better during my skincare routine, which I really liked. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
The container is designed for gua sha massage, making application convenient. You can massage while applying, and it's great that you don't have to get your hands messy. It's time-saving and convenient to do two things at once. It's a very rich type, so it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. When you wake up in the morning, your skin feels smooth. I'm not sure if it really helps with puffiness, but I tried eating ramen before bed after applying it, and my face didn't swell up much. It didn't cause any blemishes either. My complexion seems to brighten a bit. When washing my face in the morning, it feels very slippery, so I'm not sure if the product has absorbed well. Also, because it's a sticky type, it seems like you need to help it absorb separately. It might be better to apply when it's a bit cool. I have oily skin, and it feels stickier when it's hot. When I applied it with the air conditioning on, it was nice because my skin didn't get dry. Although the container allows for massage, please pat it in separately to help it absorb. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2023
I've used this product personally and am writing only the honest facts! Texture: You twist the bottom of the container to dispense the cream from the opening. The texture feels gel-like with an immediate cooling effect. I loved that it doesn't dry out quickly even with prolonged massage. Application: The gua sha head fits perfectly not just on the jaw, cheeks, and laugh lines, but also on the neck muscles, trapezius, and arms. It felt incredibly refreshing. I own other gua sha tools, facial rollers, and home care devices, but personally, I found this Skin I product to be the most soothing without any painful stimulation. Scent: When I first saw the product name, I wondered if it would smell like pumpkin. However, it has a pleasantly fresh and cool fragrance that's subtle. Even those sensitive to scents shouldn't find it objectionable. Effectiveness: I used this product diligently every evening, and surprisingly, the areas where I used it were noticeably less puffy compared to the areas I didn't treat. It was particularly effective in relieving the shoulder tension and pain in my trapezius area, which I often experience while working. Blemishes: I have sensitive, easily irritated skin and am prone to body blemishes, but the light gel texture caused no issues. In fact, it left my dry areas more hydrated, improving the overall feel. Overall: I'm likely to repurchase this after finishing it. If you use it alone and lie on a pillow, it can feel slightly sticky! However, this stickiness disappears if you apply an emulsion on top and let it absorb. It's not really a drawback, but I'm mentioning it since I have to point out something. Try using it on your trapezius muscles and the loose skin on your arms too! The curved opening of the gua sha fits perfectly and feels so refreshing! After use, applying a cream or emulsion helps with absorption and eliminates any stickiness. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAug 21, 2023
The curved shape made it easier to apply, and the size was just right for covering larger areas. It has a subtle honey-like scent which I found pleasant. I think with consistent use, it'll definitely show results. It didn't seem to suit my skin as I got some blemishes on my forehead, so I couldn't use it on my face much... Also, controlling the amount was trickier than expected. If you apply too much, it absorbs slowly and leaves a sticky residue. That was a bit disappointing. It's also great for use on the neck, arms, and legs.
