I had purchased Biovita while struggling to find a suitable (effective) probiotic for myself. There wasn't really any good point about it. I'm usually not very responsive to probiotic supplements, and this product was no exception - it was also ineffective for me.

The effect was not really there. They said it was apple-flavored, but it wasn't really apple-flavored. The aftertaste was a bit strange. It's not that I couldn't eat it, but I had to kind of grit my teeth and force myself to eat it. The Lactobif also didn't have much of an effect, but at least it had some taste, so I just went with it, but this one doesn't even have any taste.. haha I have no intention of repurchasing it.

As a person with irritable bowel syndrome, this probiotic has been the most effective for me. I'm not sure if it's because it's not a regular probiotic but rather a butyric acid-producing bacteria, but I experience much less gas and have very smooth bowel movements.

The taste is unpleasant... really unpleasant. I've gotten used to it now, but at first, after switching from another sweet probiotic, it felt like I was chewing on paper ㅜ The taste is like ground-up Starbucks paper straws mixed with sugar... And the price keeps going up, which is a bit upsetting.
