I tried this as a sample and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't dry too quickly, has a nice scent, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I think it would work great after using a sebum softener. The effects seem temporary, and as for value for money... I don't think it's particularly cost-effective. You'll probably need to use it consistently to see results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 11, 2023
This skin pack smells just like a chestnut ice cream bar! It's said to effectively cleanse away excess sebum and dead skin cells while tightening pores. The pack contains chestnut shell extract, which is excellent for pore care, along with AHA, PHA, and LHA ingredients that can even shrink pores in the T-zone area. The most unique and appealing feature is its chestnut-shaped pointed tip, allowing for precise application on curved areas like the sides of the nose. It's so adorable, resembling an actual chestnut! The embossed side can thoroughly remove both fine and stubborn dead skin cells, while the flat side helps tighten pores. As someone with very dry skin, I hadn't given much thought to pore concerns before, but I really noticed the effectiveness on my small pores while using this! Every time I apply makeup after using it, my skin texture appears smoother due to the exfoliation. Surprisingly, even with my dry skin, I didn't experience any dryness - it kept my skin hydrated. The thick yet pointed tip shape provided excellent adherence. I found it most enjoyable and effective to rotate the pointed tip to target different areas as needed. I was so satisfied with this product that I couldn't find any downsides! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 26, 2023
As someone with combination skin prone to blemishes, large pores, and dead skin cells, I typically start my skincare routine with products that address exfoliation. The Bodel Balm Pads caught my attention because they promised to tackle both dead skin cells and pores - a major plus! Makeup compatibility: After using these pads, I noticed my makeup applied more smoothly without pilling. The before and after photos clearly show a significant reduction in clogged pores. While not as visible in the pictures, areas prone to patchiness like around the nose and mouth appeared more even. These pads work great as a primer, reducing skin temperature and refining pores before makeup application. They're truly a game-changer for makeup prep! Post-use changes: After a 5-minute pad mask, my skin looked noticeably calmer, reducing the redness caused by cleansing and skin sensitivity. I even observed a temporary reduction in pore size. As someone who's tried various exfoliating products, I found these pads exceptional not just for dead skin cell removal, but also for improving overall skin texture. My skin felt incredibly soft and smooth after use. Pad shape: The pads adhere well to the skin, even in tricky areas like the sides of the nose. Their unique shape makes it easy to target often-missed spots like around the nose and between the brows. The generous size and ample essence allow for thorough coverage of both cheeks, forehead, and chin using just two pads. However, the embossed side might feel a bit rough for those with super sensitive skin. Hydration: These pads seem to focus more on hydration than moisturization. While they contain AHA, PHA, and LHA, I experienced no irritation with a 3-5 minute application. They effectively addressed my dehydrated skin concerns. After use, I noticed some sebum on the pads, reassuring me of their deep cleansing abilities. The lightweight, hydrating finish makes them suitable for both oily and dry skin types as a first step in skincare. Scent: The fragrance reminds me of a sweet Bam Bam ice cream with a hint of yogurt. While it might not be for everyone, I absolutely loved it! It's so pleasant that I wouldn't mind if Hanyul released a Bam Bam diffuser similar to their mugwort one. I'm 100% planning to purchase these Bodel Balm Pads again! They're by far my favorite pads I've tried recently. The scent might be polarizing for some users. The embossed side of the pad has a slightly rough texture, which could potentially irritate those with extremely sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2023
I always use an exfoliating toner with a pad after cleansing! Since I've been concerned about my pores, I tried combining the [Buddle Balm Pore-Clearing Pack] with the [Buddle Balm Pore-Tightening Pads]. I was hoping for an effect similar to using a nose strip! After trying it out, I found that using the pack and pads together really made a difference. First, I wiped away sebum from my pores with the pad, then left the pack on for a while. It genuinely made my skin feel cleaner and my pores appear smaller! I absolutely loved how the pads were thicker and wider compared to others I've tried. The combination of chestnut shell extract, which is excellent for pore care, along with AHA, PHA, and LHA ingredients, really seems to make this product outstanding for pore management. I'm very satisfied with the results. (I always check for AHA when using exfoliating toner pads!) I'll need to use it for longer to see if it truly has a lasting effect on my pores. I think there's a synergistic effect when using it together with the Buddle Balm Pore-Clearing Pack! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2023
I'm thrilled that there's a product that can easily target specific areas like the cheekbones, where I struggle with sebum and pores. It's so convenient compared to pore-care masks that require rinsing off. These pads are a breeze to use, and I love that they can be applied to small areas too. They'd be perfect for my teenage son dealing with oily skin. The tightening sensation after use is amazing - it really feels like it's working hard to minimize pores! I'm a bit concerned about the longevity of the product since you have to open the lid to use it. I worry the contents might not stay fresh over time.
