For maximum hydration, I recommend applying the Sekkisei toner generously right after cleansing. It works great in combination with the Sekkisei emulsion too.

There's hardly anything to complain about! I just wish they'd come out with a larger size version.

I tried the Sekkisei toner for the first time and I'm absolutely thrilled! It's perfect for my dry skin that needs hydration. After applying, my skin feels so moisturized. I used to think toners were just for refining skin texture, but Sekkisei goes beyond that, providing deep hydration and leaving my skin plump. The packaging with its transparent logo is beautiful too, making each use a delightful experience.

Unfortunately, it causes blemishes on my skin. I tested it twice just to be sure, and small red bumps appear. It's such a shame because I really like it otherwise.

It's incredibly hydrating. I bought it because it's supposed to be gentle. It's great for absorbing excess oil too!

Everyone's skin texture is different, so you'll have to try it to know for sure.

The downside is that it doesn't feel quite fresh enough to apply during the summer.

The oil-based ingredients make it feel soft. It would be perfect for use during the winter months.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I struggled to find suitable cosmetics while living in Japan. Thankfully, I finally settled on this brand I'm so grateful for! I had forgotten about it since moving to Korea, but I'm thankful for the chance to use it again. It's a solid, reliable product that does its job well (I'm so grateful it doesn't cause blemishes!). It's especially great as an exfoliating toner!

The texture is water-like, making it perfect to use as a toner! It's low in oil, so it's great for oily or combination dehydrated skin. I've tried both the Docto and Hupto versions, and they both left my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated. What I especially love is using it as a skin pack before makeup - just soak 1/3 of a cotton pad and apply it to your face. It makes your makeup go on so smoothly, I highly recommend it!

For those with oily skin, this toner is so good that applying it 2-3 times might allow you to skip the serum step!

The packaging was a bit disappointing, maybe because I'm not a fan of twist-open types? Though its minimalist design does look neat on the vanity.
The price point is also a bit of a drawback.

Texture: It's a watery formula but with a slight viscosity
Experience: I expected it to be completely lightweight due to its fluid nature, but I was surprised by how hydrating and moisturizing it felt! On hot days, applying it 2-3 times is enough to skip serum or ampoule (I have combination dehydrated skin) / It leaves your skin feeling soft with a noticeable boost in hydration!!
Scent: No particularly strong fragrance

Recently my skin has been feeling hot and sensitive, but this caused no irritation at all. I love that it's gentle yet provides definite hydration.

However, in my opinion, the price point of over 40,000 won for 200ml seems a bit steep. Additionally, the somewhat exaggerated lid packaging makes it appear quite large on my vanity, which is slightly disappointing.

I was initially concerned about using this product on my combination dehydrated, sensitive skin due to the presence of phenoxyethanol in the ingredients. However, after seeing positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. First off, I appreciated that it's colorless and fragrance-free. While the lack of a scent from the ingredient combination is slightly odd, I'm relieved there are no added fragrances, allowing me to use it with peace of mind. The texture reminds me of Clarins Double Serum Light if it were made into a toner - it's like oil and water perfectly blended! The way they've achieved this formulation without separation layers truly feels like Japanese technology at its finest. As for the experience, I noticed some redness and irritation on the first day, but from the second day onward, my skin felt fine with no noticeable irritation. While it doesn't absorb as quickly as a regular toner right after application, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and supple.

It seems to work well when layered with other products.

The applicator opening was a bit awkward to use. While it wasn't a major issue, the overall experience was just average.

I appreciated its simplicity. It felt like there were no unnecessary frills. The oil and moisture balance seemed just right for my skin.

I think this would work even better for those with dry skin.

It absorbs well without leaving a greasy feeling, and it's not too sticky, which I liked. The hydration doesn't evaporate quickly either, so I was satisfied using it.

There's nothing disappointing about the quality of the product itself. However, as someone who uses a lot of toner on cotton pads, I found the price a bit steep. Considering the value for money, I've given it 4 stars. Apart from that, I have no complaints!
